- Apparatus according to claim 1, characterised in that the guide device (3) is mounted pivotably on the application head (2) by means of a hinge (26).
- Apparatus according to claim 2, characterised in that the guide device (3) is mounted pivotably by means of a pneumatic cylinder (58) and the first guide element (38) is disposed at a distance from the hinge (26) in such a manner that when the guide device (3) is pivoted, the distance of the first guide element (38) from the discharge aperture (18) of the slot nozzle (16) is varied.
- Apparatus according to claim 2 or 3, characterised by a biasing device for biasing the guide device (3) and/or the guide element (38) in a rest position, in which the guide element (38) is disposed at a distance from the slot nozzle (16).
- Apparatus according to claim 4, characterised in that the biasing device takes the form of a spring.
- Apparatus according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the first guide element (38) is formed as a cylindrical pin and is disposed substantially parallel to the discharge aperture (18).
- Apparatus according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that two further edge guide elements (46, 48) are fixable at different distances from one another on a support (44).
- Apparatus according to claim 7, characterised in that the support (44) is mounted together with the edge guide elements (46, 48) adjustably and fixably on the guide device (3).
- Apparatus according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the guide device (3) has a guide slot (32) which is formed by spaced plates (34, 36) and through which the strip material to be glued is passed.
- Apparatus according to at least one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the length of the slot is variable and the application head (2) is mounted slidably and fixably.
- Guide device for guiding a strip material past a discharge aperture of a slot nozzle (16) along a specified path of motion, in particular for detachably fixing to an apparatus according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the guide device (3) has a first guide element (38), which in operation comes into contact with a surface of the strip material opposite the surface to be glued, and has at least one further guide element (46, 48), which in operation comes into contact with an edge of the strip material.
