Hierzu ist die Walze so ausgebildet, daß der Reibwert zwischen Walze und Bahn größer ist, als zwischen der Bahn und den Blattfedern, so daß die Bahn bei der Rückdrehbewegung von der Haltewalze mitgenommen wird. Claims (9)

  1. Apparatus for splicing webs, in particular paper webs for the production of corrugated board,
    a) having at least one press-on and deflection roller (17, 18) for the web (11) running off a web roll (9, 10),
    b) having two alternately active retaining rollers (25, 70) for the beginning of the web (12) which is to be connected and is to be drawn off from a web roll (10, 9), which retaining rollers can be moved from initial positions into operating positions,
    c) having a clamping bar (40) which interacts alternately with one or the other retaining roller (25, 70), has mutually opposite press-on surfaces (43, 44) for the respective retaining roller and exhibits, on the upper side (42), a press-on surface for the web (11) running over it,
    d) having two braking bars (55, 60) which interact alternately with the upper side (42) of the clamping bar (40) in order to slow down the running-off web (11), and
    e) having two alternately active cutters (64, 65) for cutting off the running-off web (11), characterized
    f) in that the retaining rollers (25, 70) are arranged on carriages (26) with a drive for displacement along a straight horizontal path (28) from a predetermined initial position into a predetermined operating position and vice versa,
    g) in that the clamping bar (40) exhibits leaf springs (45) which, for the feed of the web (12) which is to be connected, interact with one or the other retaining roller (25, 70) in a first clamping position, in which the coefficient of friction between the retaining roller and the web is greater than between the web and the leaf springs (45), such that
    h) after feeding between the retaining roller (25, 70) and the clamping bar (40) the web (12) which is to be connected and transferring the clamping bar (40) into the first clamping position, the retaining roller (25, 70) can be rotated back into a press-on position in which the beginning of the web provided with an adhesive layer is left in a freely accessible state, over a predetermined length (b), by the active clamping bar (40), and
    i) in that, after the relevant retaining roller (25, 70) has been rotated back into the press-on position, the clamping bar (40) can be transferred into a second clamping position in which the leaf springs (45) are compressed to such an extent that the web (12) is retained between the relevant press-on surface (43, 44) of the clamping bar (40) and the retaining roller (25, 70).
  2. Apparatus according to Claim 1, characterized in that each retaining roller (25, 70), in its outer position, is assigned a plate (30) with a bent-off plate part (42) of the predetermined length (b).
  3. Apparatus according to Claim 2, characterized in that a cutter (31) interacts with the end edge of the bent-off plate part (30).
  4. Apparatus according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that each retaining roller (25, 70) exhibits latching notches (35) distributed over its circumference at angles of 120°, and provision is made for a stationary latching lever (37) with latching roller (36) for engagement into the respectively upper latching notch.
  5. Apparatus according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that each retaining roller (25, 70) has, on the circumference, a rubber coating (34) with a high coefficient of friction.
  6. Apparatus according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that each retaining roller (25, 70) is arranged in a carriage (26) which can be driven in a positively locking manner and can be moved along the horizontal straight path (28) from an operating position into a predetermined initial position and vice versa, and in that the clamping bar (40) is arranged in a carriage (46) which can be advanced in driven mode such that it approaches the respective carriage (26) of the retaining rollers and, finally, can be pressed against the same.
  7. Apparatus according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the clamping bar (40) has lateral shoulders (41) and side surfaces (44) with friction linings (43)
  8. Apparatus according to Claim 7, characterized in that the leaf springs (45) span the friction linings (43) of the side surfaces (44) at a predetermined distance from one another.
  9. Apparatus according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the cutters (64, 65) for cutting off the running-off paper web (11) are arranged, separately from the clamping bar (40), such that they cut into the interstice between press-on and deflection rollers (17, 18) and retaining rollers (25, 70).
