Definitions
- the invention relates to a drain fitting for a toilet cistern, with one that can be raised for a partial or full flush Valve body of a drain valve, with one in a float housing lower ones located inside the cistern Buoyancy body that acts on a buoyancy during the partial flushing is hindered, and with an upper buoyancy body, the valve body during the full flush on at least that lower buoyancy body and in the partial rinse only on the upper buoyancy body is supported and the lower Buoyancy during the partial flushing in particular magnetic holding force held stationary in the float housing is.
- Such a toilet cistern is, for example, by DE 197 30 271 C1 has become known.
- the present invention has the object based on a drain fitting of the type mentioned to simplify the operation.
- the advantage achieved by the invention is that only to activate the full and partial rinses Valve body is raised and depending on the lifting height the full or Partial rinse is triggered. Besides, there is only one only actuator acting on the valve body required. Simplified because fewer individual parts are required the assembly of the drain fitting according to the invention Likewise.
- the driver can be used for a seal provided contact surface of the drain valve his.
- two actuation mechanisms that can be triggered independently of one another intended for full and partial rinsing, their respective attack lever with the operating lever are non-rotatably coupled.
- the attack levers can be arranged side by side in parallel.
- Every actuation mechanism at least a lever arm and at least one articulated Connecting strut, which is articulated with the Attack lever is connected.
- This arrangement allows a deflection of a horizontal actuation of the lever arms using a button on the front of the cistern and a Redirection of a vertical actuation by means of an above button attached to the cistern in an upward movement of the operating lever with the same operating device realize.
- the effort and the through the key traveled or deflection for an operation roughly the same from the front and from above.
- lever arms are closed Drain valve at an angle of approximately 45 ° downwards are directed. Then the lever arms can either be horizontal Printing direction via a front inspection opening in the Cistern operated or in the vertical pressure direction via an inspection opening located at the top of the cistern be operated. This enables the same leverage ratios the arrangement of the pushbuttons either on the front or top of the cistern.
- the actuating lever and the lever arms are preferred two actuating mechanisms each on a bearing block rotatably supported, each actuating mechanism through an operative connection via a push rod Key can be operated from the outside.
- the bearing block with the two Actuating mechanisms represents a unit that acts as a Part can be removed from the cistern. Should the Mechanics of the actuation mechanisms can be defective a simple exchange takes place.
- Each actuating mechanism preferably has one for Pivot axis of the actuating lever radially spaced sleeve to accommodate the push rod.
- the sleeves rotatably mounted parallel to the pivot axis of the actuating lever, where the point of attack for the user initiated Force remains unchanged.
- the push rods can e.g. clipped into the sleeves in different positions become. This allows the same components, i.e. Inspection plate, push rods and actuation mechanisms for cisterns of different depths and heights can be used.
- the drain fitting designated by 1 in FIG. 1 is installed in a toilet cistern 2 and has a drain valve 4 closing or releasing the drain opening 3 of the cistern 2.
- the valve body 5 of the drain valve 4 forms a vertically aligned overflow pipe, at the lower end of which there is a sealing washer 7 which interacts with a valve seat 6 of the cistern 2.
- the drain valve 4 remains closed due to the water pressure acting on the sealing disk 7.
- the valve body 5 extends upwards through a cup-shaped float housing 8 which is open at the top and which is fixed in place in the cistern 2 in a manner not shown in more detail (for example via a bayonet connection on the cistern floor).
- a lower buoyancy body 9 and an upper buoyancy body 10 are provided around the valve body 5.
- the lower buoyancy body 9 is located within the float housing 8, while the upper buoyancy body 10 only partially projects into the float housing 8. In other embodiments, the upper buoyancy body 10 can also be located above the float housing 8.
- the valve body 5 is continuously supported on the upper buoyancy body 10 by means of a hold-down device 11 , while it rests on the lower buoyancy body 9 with the aid of a contact disk 12 only when the drain valve is closed (FIG. 1) and during full flushing (FIG. 2). Is to. the lower buoyancy body 9 on the valve body 5 is slidably guided between its stationary lower position and its upper position supporting the valve body 5.
- the lower buoyancy body 9 In the closed starting position of the drain fitting 1 shown in FIG. 1, the lower buoyancy body 9 is held stationary in the float housing 8 by magnetic force.
- parts 14 arranged on the bottom 13 of the float housing 8 and parts 15 arranged below on the lower buoyancy body 9 interact magnetically with one another.
- the magnetic holding force of parts 14 and 15 is greater than the sum of the buoyancy forces of the two buoyancy bodies 9, 10.
- two projections 16 are provided, which through openings in the bottom 13 of the float housing 8 in the direction of one for the The sealing disk 7 protrudes the contact surface 17 of the valve body 5.
- valve body 5 is raised on a tab 18 by means of a suitable actuating device until it rests with its contact surface 17 on the underside of the float housing 8.
- the contact surface 17 takes the projections 16 and thus the lower buoyancy body 9 upwards, as a result of which the lower buoyancy body 9 is lifted from its magnetic counter bearing 14 against the action of the magnetic force.
- the lower buoyancy body 9 drives up to abut against the contact disk 12 and, due to its buoyancy in the water of the float housing 8, holds the valve body 5 resting on the contact disk 12 raised.
- the water present in the cistern 2 can flow out through the outflow opening 3.
- the valve body 5 on the tab 18 is only raised so far by means of the actuating device that the projections 16 are not carried upwards.
- the drain valve 4 is open and the water level 20 in the cistern 2 begins to decrease. Since the magnetic holding force of the parts 14 and 15 is greater than the buoyancy force of the lower buoyancy body 9, the latter is still held stationary in the lower position in the float housing 8 and is therefore deactivated. That is, the lower buoyancy body 9 is prevented from buoyancy and does not support the raised valve body 5, which is now held in its raised position, which opens the drain valve 4, only by the buoyancy force of the upper buoyancy body 10.
- the sinking water level 20 in the cistern 2 reaches the upper buoyancy body 10, it floats on the water and sinks with the water level, which continues to decrease.
- the water level then still prevailing in the float housing 8 is designated by 20 ' in FIG. 3 and defines the amount of water that has flowed out for the partial rinse.
- the actuating device 21 shown in FIG. 4 comprises a bearing block 22 which can be fastened on the inside to the rear wall of the cistern.
- a parallel actuation mechanism 23 for triggering the full flush and a second actuation mechanism 24 for triggering the partial flush are provided in parallel on the bearing block 22.
- the bearing block 22 has two receptacles 25 , 26 in which a pivot axis 27 is mounted. Between the receptacles 25, 26, the pivot axis 27 carries an actuating lever 28 with an upwardly open receptacle 29 at its free end, into which the valve body 5 is hung with its tab 18.
- Two parallel engagement levers 30 and 31 are rotatably connected to the pivot axis 27 on both sides of each receptacle 25, 26.
- the bearing block 22 has two receptacles 32 , 33 , in which bearing bolts 34 , 35 are rotatably mounted.
- two parallel lever arms 36 and 37 are rotatably connected to the respective bearing pin 34, 35, which together with their respective bearing pin 34, 35 each form an integral unit.
- two connecting struts 40, 41 are articulated, which are articulated at the other ends to the free ends of the engagement levers 30 and 31, respectively.
- a sleeve 43 , 44 is rotatably supported at their free ends at 42 and 39, in which a horizontally oriented push rod 45 , 46 is received.
- the articulation points 42, 39 are each equally spaced from the bearing bolts 34, 35.
- an externally actuatable pushbutton (not shown) which is operatively connected to the respective push rod 45, 46.
- the lever arms 36, 37 are in the closed starting position the drain fitting 1 (Fig. 1) at an angle of 45 ° downwards directed so that the sleeves 43, 44 and the push rods 45, 46 either, as shown in Fig. 4, aligned horizontally and in the horizontal printing direction 47 via a front inspection opening in the cistern 2 are operated can or aligned vertically and in the vertical printing direction via an inspection opening arranged at the top of the cistern 2 can be operated.
- This enables the same Lever ratios the arrangement of the push buttons optionally either on the front or top of the cistern Second
