Gleitsohle 7. Das Kunststoffgehäuse 1 weist zwei vertikal
ausgerichtete, formstabile Schraubdome 8 zur Führung der
Borstenträgerplatte 4 und der Druckfedern 6 auf. Ferner ist
der Saugkopf in an sich bekannter Weise mit einem Dreh-Kipp-Gelenk
9 ausgebildet und weist eine an das rückwärtige
Ende des Kunststoffgehäuses 1 angeschlossene Laufrolle 10
auf. An die Borstenträgerplatte 4 sind im Ausführungsbeispiel
eine Borstenleiste 11 sowie eine Gummilippe 12
angeschlossen, die durch eine Hubbewegung der Borstenträgerplatte
4 an der Unterseite des Kunststoffgehäuses 1
ein- und ausfahrbar sind. Die Gleitsohle 7 enthält einen
Saugmund 13, der an ein vertikal ausgerichtetes kastenförmiges
Anschlussstück 14 des Saugkanals 2 anschließt und
in einen Bodenkanal 15 der Gleitsohle 7 einmündet. Der
Bodenkanal 15 erstreckt sich im Wesentlichen quer zur

Die Gleitsohle 7 ist sowohl an dem Anschlussstück 14 des
Saugkanals 2 als auch endseitig an den Innenflächen 16 des
Kunststoffgehäuses 1 schwenkbeweglich gelagert. Die

man, dass das kastenförmige Anschlussstück 14 Querstege 17

Unterkante als bogenförmig gerundete Lagerfläche 18
ausgebildet ist. Die Gleitsohle 7 ist auf den bogenförmig
gerundeten Lagerflächen 18 des Anschlussstückes 14
abgestützt (Fig. 4) und durch Rastverbindungen drehbeweglich
an zu den Querstegen 17 parallele Wandflächen 19
des Anschlussstückes 14 angeschlossen. Zu diesem Zweck
enthalten die Wandflächen 19 des Anschlussstückes Bohrungen
20, in die an die Gleitsohle 7 angeformte Zapfen 21
eingreifen (Fig. 6). Den Figuren entnimmt man auch, dass
die bogenförmig gerundeten Lagerflächen 18 einen seitlichen

- A suction nozzle for floor vacuum cleaners, comprising
a one-piece plastics housing (1), which contains a suction duct (2) and which has a top opening (3) for a foot switch (5),
a bristle carrier plate (4), which is disposed so that it can move vertically in the plastics housing (1) and which can be lowered against the action of pressure springs (6) by operating a foot switch (5) inserted in the opening (3), and
a sliding base (7) which is disposed on the underside of the housing and which comprises a suction outlet (13), which adjoins a vertically aligned, box-shaped connection piece (14) of the suction duct (2) and which leads into a basal duct (15) of the sliding base (7),
wherein the plastics housing (1) comprises two vertically aligned, dimensionally stable screw domes (8) for guiding the bristle carrier plate (4) and the pressure springs (6), characterised in that
the sliding base (7) is mounted so that it can execute swivelling movements on the connection piece (14) of the suction duct (2) and can also execute swivelling movements at its ends on the inner faces (16) of the plastics housing (1),

that the sliding base (7) is supported on the arcuately rounded bearing faces (18) of the connection piece (14), and is attached, by locking connections and so that it can move in rotation, to wall faces (19) of the connection piece (14) which are parallel to the transverse bridges (17). - A suction nozzle according to claim 1, characterised in that the wall faces (19) of the connection piece (14) contain holes (20) into which pegs (21) fit which are integrally formed on the sliding base (7).
- A suction nozzle according to claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the arcuately rounded bearing faces (18) comprise a lateral shoulder (22) for the axial guidance of the sliding base (7).
- A suction nozzle according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that bearing spigots (21') and projections formed as bearing shells (23) are integrally formed on the inner faces (16) of the plastics housing (1), wherein after a locking connection is effected the bearing spigots (21') fit into associated bearing holes (20) in the sliding base (7), and the sliding base (7) is supported vertically on the bearing shells (23).
- A suction nozzle according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that limit stops (24) are integrally formed on the inner faces (16) of the plastics housing (1) and delimit the angle of swivel of the sliding base (7).
- A suction nozzle according to claim 5, characterised in that the limit stops (24) consist of pegs which fit into a slot (25) disposed at the periphery of the sliding base (7).
- A suction nozzle according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the screw domes (8) are disposed with a lateral offset in relation to the swivelling axis (s).
- A suction nozzle according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the pressure springs (6) are supported on annular washers (26) which are fixed to the screw domes (8).
- A suction nozzle according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the sliding base (7) can optionally be screwed on to the screw domes (8) and can thereby be rigidly attached to the housing (I) with the construction of the plastics housing (1) remaining unchanged.
