Bei einer Ausgestaltung eines Saugmundstücks gemäß der Erfindung werden die dem Absaugrohrstück zugeordneten Rohrgelenke durch eine auf dieses Absaugrohrstück aufgesteckte Abdeckkappe geschützt, die gleichzeitig auch die seitlich überstehenden Laufräder übergreift. Die Abdeckkappe bildet dabei einen Schutz für die an den Rohrgelenken notwendigen Dichtungslippen, wobei insbesondere der Düsenkörper im Bereich des dort vorgesehenen Rohrgelenks so niedrig ausgebildet werden kann, daß die Dichtungslippe in den Bereich verlegt werden kann, in dem sonst die Gefahr des Anstoßens an Möbelkanten oder dgl. gegeben ist. Die Abdeckung der Räder bewirkt dabei, daß insbesondere beim Saugen unter Polstermöbeln mit Fransen oder Stoffborden die Gefahr vermindert wird, daß sich diese Dekorationselemente im Spalt zwischen den Rädern verfangen. Die Abdeckkappe weist zu ihrer Halterung in Richtung der Schwenkachse an gegenüberliegenden Seitenrändern vorzugsweise Seitenwangen auf, die senkrecht zur Schwenkachse des Rohrgelenks stehen und Rastmittel tragen, welche mit Gegenrasten am Absaugrohrstück lösbar in Eingriff stehen. Das Absaugrohrstück kann hierzu angepaßte senkrecht nach oben gerichtete Wandungsteile aufweisen, welche die Gegenrasten tragen. Hierfür weist die Abdeckkappe 14 an ihren in Richtung der Schwenkachse gegenüberliegenden Seitenrändern Seitenwangen 15 auf, die senkrecht zur Schwenkachse 7 stehen und Rastmittel 16 tragen, welche mit Gegenrasten 17 an Haltestegen 17.1 am Absaugrohrstück 6 lösbar in Eingriff stehen bzw. zu bringen sind. Die Oberseite der Abdeckkappe 14 ist rechteckförmig ausgebildet und weist eine Breite auf, die mindestens dem Abstand der äußeren Stirnflächen der Laufräder 12 entspricht.
