Definitions
- the invention relates to a cable connection or connection device for the frontal connection of the conductors of a preferably multi-core cable, with a plug-in part provided with contact elements, with a wire and -guiding part and with a cable holder, the wire holder- and guide part has wire guide channels and wherein Plug-in part and the cable receptacle can be connected to one another, in particular screwed are and in the assembled state the and guide part arranged between the plug part and the cable receptacle or is enclosed by the plug-in part and the cable holder.
- the invention is a cable connection or connection device for the frontal connection of the conductors of a multi-core Cable concerns.
- the cable can be connected to an electrical device or electrically connected with a second cable.
- connection device Shall two cables be connected together are, it is a connection device. Independently of whether a connection or a connection is made always a connection of the cable or the conductor by a contact element instead of. In the following, a connection device is predominantly used. Nevertheless, there is always a connection device in the meaning previously explained.
- connection device for electrically conductive connection of a Cable to an electrical device is to be understood in general terms as electrical device; in particular, the term “electrical device” should also include electrical and electronic components, devices and devices fall.
- cables are connected where the cable insulation, but not the wire insulation of the individual wires before connection have been removed.
- the cable connection or connection device thus enables the connection of non-stripped conductors. Ways of connecting non-stripped conductors are already out of the State of the art known.
- Insulation displacement clamps or insulation displacement connection devices used, in which the contact elements usually designed as contact blades Cut into the wire insulation from the outside until there is contact with the leader.
- connection device In the cable connection or to be created with the present invention -connection device is now used from the second option made, d. H. the wire insulation is not cut from the side, but the conductors are connected from the front. Thereby in usually used in such a connection stranded conductor which thus the contact element between the individual strands of the conductor penetrates. Due to the restoring force of the wire insulation, there is a electrical contact sufficient clamping force between the individual Strands of the conductor and the contact element penetrated into the conductor.
- cable connection or connection device is an exact alignment of the individual wires to the contact elements depending on the manufacturing tolerances of the nozzle of the Wire receiving and guiding part to the corresponding recess of the plug-in part. They are also for different cables with different Diameter of the cores different cores and guide parts required. Assigns a used wire with smaller wires Diameters than the wire guide channels, there is only one inadequate alignment of the wires to the contact elements.
- the introduction of wires with different is Diameter in the wire guide channels of the and guide part possible, the accuracy of the orientation of the inserted Veins to the contact elements also depend on the used wire cross-sections from, so that an exact alignment is not can always be guaranteed. In addition, the orientation of the Veins due to aging and subsidence of the rubber-elastic Core receiving and guiding part negatively affected.
- the present invention is therefore based on the object of a cable connection or connecting device for the frontal connection of conductors to provide a multi-core cable, where possible one exact alignment of the individual wires to the contact elements of the Plug part is realized.
- a cable connection or connecting device for the frontal connection of conductors to provide a multi-core cable, where possible one exact alignment of the individual wires to the contact elements of the Plug part is realized.
- Different cables with different wire cross sections with the same cable connection or connection device can be connected can.
- the task derived and shown above is first and foremost solved in that the wire receiving and guiding part from one first section made of soft material and a second section hard material and that in the first section the wire guide channels and in the second section a positioning aid for exact Alignment of the conductors to the contact elements are formed; "soft Material “means one that is relatively elastic,” hard material “means one one that is not very elastic.
- the first part is the connection of different cables different wire cross-sections possible.
- the Core guide channels in the first made of soft material, in particular a soft plastic, for example a thermoplastic elastomer existing section of the wire receiving and guiding part can through radial pressure on this first section of the cross section of the wire guide channels can be reduced to the smaller cross-section of the wires.
- Adequate clamping of the individual wires in the wire guide channels be achieved so that the veins slide back when penetrating the contact elements in the veins is prevented.
- the first section Due to the radial pressure the first section also ensures that the electrical Contact between the individual strands of a conductor and that of the The end of the contact element inserted into the conductor is necessary Contact force is ensured.
- the force acting radially on the wire insulation thus additionally supports the restoring force of the wire insulation.
- thermoplastic elastomer for the first section a natural rubber or a silicone rubber can be used, wherein the first section can be made by vulcanization.
- the first Section made of thermoplastic elastomer and the second section One-piece thermoplastic.
- the wire intake and guide part to be produced in the two-component injection molding process, so that the two sections are materially connected to each other.
- the positioning aid has holes assigned to the individual wire guide channels, the Holes, seen from the wire guide channels, a tapered Have cross-section.
- the holes can in particular be funnel-shaped or conical. With such a configuration the positioning aid is done by simply inserting the Cores through the wire guide channels into the tapered holes a "self-alignment" of the inserted veins. Through the funnel or cone-shaped formation of the holes is always an exact constant alignment of the core axis, regardless of the Vein diameter. So the contact elements of the plug-in part arranged so that they are centered on the holes of the positioning aid are, it is always ensured that the contact elements meet in the middle of the front of the wires to be connected.
- the arrangement and alignment of the contact elements exactly in the middle of the Bores of the positioning aid can now be particularly advantageous can be easily realized that the holes are a first to which Tapered area, a second Area of constant diameter and a third, expanding Have range.
- the positioning aid is not only used for alignment the wires but also to align the contact elements, with an exact alignment of the wires to the contact elements is realized in that the hole as a whole and thus all three areas have a matching center line.
- the holes have a first tapered Area, a second area of constant diameter and one third, expanding area.
- the first and the third area to be mirror-symmetrical to each other and even to each other adjoin so that the middle second area is virtually eliminated or only has a vanishing length.
- the minimum diameter of the first, the tapered area must always be smaller than the smallest diameter a wire to be connected, so that the first area of the hole always a stop for one inserted through a wire guide channel Vein forms.
- the smallest diameter of the third Range should always be larger than the diameter of the contact elements, so that the contact elements through the holes through to the area of the wire guide channels protrude. Ideally, the smallest diameter corresponds the third area exactly the outer diameter of the contact elements.
- the cable connection or connection device essential to the invention is the embodiment previously described in detail of the wire receiving and guiding part.
- Subject of the present invention is not just a cable connection or connection device, but also a wire receiving and guiding part for use in one Cable connection or connection device.
- the cable connection or connection device in particular the Plug-in part and the cable holder, there are different options.
- the only essential function is that the plug-in part and / or the cable receptacle are designed so that on the one hand the plug-in part and the cable holder are connectable to each other, that radial forces in particular at first, made of a soft, elastic material Section of the wire receiving and guiding part are exercised.
- the cable connection according to the invention or connecting device is a between the plug and the Cable receiving effective coding element is provided.
- the second section has a groove and the plug-in part has an associated one Spring on.
- the groove can also be the plug-in part and the tongue be assigned to the second section or the coding element can another way.
- the cable receptacle has a sleeve with an external thread and the plug-in part a union nut with a the internal thread corresponding to the external thread of the sleeve. Consequently can to assemble the cable connection or connecting device, the cable receptacle and the plug-in part simply screwed together be, between the cable holder and the Plug-in part of the wire receiving and guiding part is arranged.
- the radial force on the wire receiving and guiding part can thereby can be easily realized that the plug-in part within the union nut arranged sleeve part, the sleeve part in the assembled state Enclosure and guide part encloses and the inner diameter of the Sleeve part at least partially smaller than the outer diameter of the Wire receiving and guiding part is.
- a particularly beneficial one Clamping the wires in the wire guide channels near the positioning aid is achieved in that the inner diameter of the sleeve part extended towards the wire receiving and guiding part, with in other words, the sleeve part on the side facing away from the cable receptacle has the smallest diameter.
- FIG. 1 and 2 show an embodiment of an inventive Cable connection or connection device 1 for frontal connection the - shown in Fig. 3 and 4 - conductor 2 of a multi-core cable 3, which has a total of five wires 4.
- the cable connection according to the invention or connection device 1 enables the connection of non-stripped conductors 2 in that contact elements 5 from the end face of the conductor 2 forth approximately in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the conductor 2 in the Penetrate conductor 2.
- stranded conductors 2 are used, in which the contact element 5 between the individual Strands of the conductor 2 penetrates. Because of the restoring force of the individual Conductor 2 surrounding wire insulation 6 is one for electrical Contacting sufficient clamping force between the individual strands of the Conductor 2 and the contact element 5 that has penetrated into the conductor 2.
- the cable connection or connection device 1 consists essentially from a plug-in part 7, in which the contact elements 5 are arranged, one Wire receptacle and guide part 8 and a cable receptacle 9.
- the individual wires 4 are inserted into wire guide channels 10, which are provided in the wire receiving and guiding part 8.
- wire guide channels 10 are provided in the wire receiving and guiding part 8.
- the wire receiving and guiding part 8 At the in 1 and 2 illustrated embodiment are a total of five to each other parallel wire guide channels 10 in the wire receiving and guiding part 8 provided so that the cable connection or connection device shown there 1 for the electrical connection of cables 3 with a maximum five wires 4 is provided.
- five contact elements 5 are also arranged in the plug-in part 7.
- FIG. 3 and 4 show a schematic diagram of the wire receiving and Guide part 8, which according to the invention from a first section 11 a soft material, in particular made of thermoplastic elastomer, and a second section 12 made of a hard material, in particular of a hard thermoplastic or ceramic.
- first section 11 a soft material, in particular made of thermoplastic elastomer
- second section 12 made of a hard material, in particular of a hard thermoplastic or ceramic.
- the wire receiving and guiding part 8 is preferably in the two-component injection molding process manufactured so that the wire intake and guide part 8 is in one piece and the first section 11 with the second section 12 is materially connected.
- the diameter of the wire guide channels 10th is larger than the diameter of the wires 4 to be connected Diameter of the wire guide channels 10 selected so that it is the largest Diameter of the for connection to the cable connection or connection device 1 provided cores 4 corresponds.
- the positioning aid 13 of the wire receiving and guiding part 8 has the wire guide channels 10 associated holes 14, the Bores 14 from a first, adjoining the wire guide channels 10, tapered area 15, a second area 16 constant Cross section and a third, widening area 17 exist.
- the first, tapering funnel-shaped area 15 of the bore 14 is used for exact positioning of one pushed through the wire guide channel 10 Core 4. Because the first region 15 of the bore 16 tapered in a funnel shape, there is always a "self-alignment" of the inserted Cores 4 and thus also the conductor 2 to be contacted, so that the Center line of an inserted conductor 2 always with the center line of the hole 14 matches.
- the wire receiving and guiding part 8 with inserted Veins 4, but without contact elements 5 shows are in Fig. 4 also from the opposite direction inserted contact elements 5 shown.
- the areas 15 of the holes 14 an exact alignment of the Cause cores 4, so cause the conical regions 17 of the holes 14 an exact alignment of the contact elements 5.
- the diameter of the central region 16 corresponds to the Outside diameter of the contact elements 5 the smallest diameter of the Hole 14, d. H. the diameter of the central region 16, so it arrives through the bore 14 of the positioning aid 13 inserted contact element 5 always exactly in the middle of an inserted in a wire guide channel 10 Core 4 and therefore always in the center of the core insulation 6 surrounded conductor 2.
- FIGS. 1 and 2 A preferred way of assembling the invention Cable connection or connection device 1 is shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.
- the cable holder 9 and the plug-in part 7 are screwed together so that the cable holder 9 a sleeve 18 with an external thread 19 and the plug-in part 7 a union nut 20 with a corresponding to the external thread 19 of the sleeve 18 Has internal thread 21.
- the Cable connection or connection device 1 is then the wire receiving and guide part 8 enclosed by the sleeve 18 and the union nut 20.
- the plug part 7 has an inner sleeve 22 and the contact elements 5 receiving contact carrier 23.
- the inner contour the inner sleeve 22 is now selected so that in the assembled state Cable connecting or connecting device 1 the first section 11 of the Core receiving and guiding part 8 compressed by the inner sleeve 22 is, so that 10 inserted in the wire guide channels 10 4th be clamped.
- the cable receptacle 9 also has a clamping cage 24, which acts as a strain relief for the inserted cable 3.
