Claims (10)
- Stopfen für den Verschluss von Metallschmelze aufnehmenden Behältnissen, mit einem zum Beispiel stangenförmigen Stopfenkörper (1) aus feuerfestem Material und mit einer Einsatzhülse (2) im Bereich des oberen Endes des Stopfenkörpers (1), welche mit diesem im wesentlichen koaxial angeordnet ist und eine Bohrung (3) für den lösbaren Eingriff einer zum Beispiel metallenen Haltestange (4) für das Anbringen an einem Hubmechanismus aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Einsatzhülse (2) im Abstand von dem oberen Ende des Stopfenkörpers (1) einen radialen Umfangsflansch (20) aufweist, welcher geeignet ist, mit seiner oberen Stirnfläche (21) dichtend an einer zugeordneten nach unten weisenden Ringfläche (23) des Stopfenkörpers (1) anzuliegen.
- Stopfen nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zwischen der oberen Stirnfläche (21) des Umfangsflanschs (20) und der zugeordenten Ringfläche (23) des Stopfenkörpers (1) ein temperaturbeständiger Dichtungsring (19), z.B. in Form einer keramischen Faserdichtung, vorgesehen ist.
- Stopfen nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Einsatzhülse (2) relativ zu dem Stopfenkörper (1) derart axial verspannbar ist, dass sich die obere Stirnfläche (21) des Umfangsflanschs (20) dichtend gegen die zugeordnete Ringfläche (23) des Stopfenkörpers (1) legt.
- Stopfen nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Umfangsflansch (20) einen unrunden Umfang zum Eingriff in eine außen entsprechend unrunde Ringaussparung (27) des Stopfenkörpers (1) aufweist.
- Stopfen nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Dichtungsring (19) in bzw. an der oberen Stirnfläche (21) des Umfangsflanschs (20) und/oder der zugeordneten Ringfläche (23) des Stopfenkörpers (1) angeordnet ist.
- Stopfen nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zum Verspannen der Einsatzhülse (2) gegenüber dem Stopfenkörper (1) die Einsatzhülse (2) mit dem unteren Ende der Haltestange (4), z.B. über Gewinde (11, 25), lösbar verbindbar ist und die Haltestange (4) eine auf ein Außengewinde (11) aufgenommene Festspannmutter (12) trägt, welche dazu geeignet ist, sich ggf. unter Zwischenlage eines Unterlegringes (13) an der oberen Stirnfläche (14, 15) des Stopfenkörpers (1) und ggf. der Einsatzhülse (2) abzustützen.
- Stopfen nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass neben der Einsatzhülse (2) sowohl der Stopfenkörper (1) als auch die Haltestange (4) eine Längsbohrung (16,17) für die Zuführung eines Gases in die Metallschmelze aufweisen.
- Stopfen nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Einsatzhülse (2) in einem ggf. erweiterten, sacklochartigen Endabschnitt (18) der Längsbohrung (16) des Stopfenkörpers (1) angeordnet ist, welche sich zu der Ringaussparung (27) erweitert.
- Stopfen nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Einsatzhülse (2) in ihrer Einspannlage mit ihrem oberen Ende bis dicht unterhalb an das obere Ende des Stopfenkörpers (1) reicht.
- Stopfen nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Einsatzhülse (2) aus einem feuerfesten Material besteht, welches vorzugsweise eine höhere Festigkeit als das Feuerfestmaterial des Stopfenkörpers (1) aufweist.
