- the choice of the sliding guides depends on pre-load and accuracy, in addition to the nature of the load that can be more or less concentrated and subjected to quick displacements and sudden variations: these are elements that can be kept in due consideration depending on the requirements for each carriage. Adjustment screws are further present to adjust the coupling; these are guides that are able to solve some of the problems of roller guides, like irregular rolling at high speeds, leeway making, and the phenomenon of load concentration. Another characteristic aspect of these guides is the capability of absorbing support structure errors without the need of interposing elastic parts.

Claims (5)
- Installation automatique de dressage et polissage de plaques et blocs, généralement de grandes dimensions, de marbre, granit et pierre en tout genre, cette installation comprenant des moyens pour effectuer la translation de plaques ou blocs disposés le long d'un tapis transporteur et pour effectuer le mouvement des outils par effet de la rotation du mandrin principal de chaque tête, dans laquelle au moins deux groupes identiques de têtes porte outils (8) interagissent avec des surfaces à abraser respectives et avec une portion de surface partagée par les groupes respectifs de têtes contiguës selon un facteur de "recouvrement ", dans lesquelles les têtes porte-outils (8), disposée à la même hauteur par rapport à la direction d'avancement de la plaque et en correspondance avec la portion de surface respective à abraser, sont dotées d'outils ayant le même grain, ces têtes porte-outils (8) ayant le même grain d'abrasif étant rendues réciproquement solidaires au moyen d'un chariot (6) indépendant,
caractérisé par le fait que :Chaque chariot (6) est doté de mouvement oscillatoire ayant direction transversale au mouvement d'avancement des plaques à abraser et ayant une ampleur identique par rapport à la largeur globale du tapis transporteur pour le nombre de ces groupes de têtes porte-outils (8). - Installation automatique de dressage et polissage de plaques et blocs de marbre, granit et pierre en tout genre selon la Revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que:La structure portante (1) reporte les logements des coulisseaux (5) des chariots (6) dotés de mouvement transversal au moyen des actionneurs respectifs(7).
- Installation automatique de dressage et polissage de plaques et blocs de marbre, granit et pierre en tout genre selon la Revendication 2, caractérisé par le fait que:Les coulisseaux (5) sont alignés au moyen de vis de réglage pour régler l'accouplement.
- Installation automatique de dressage et polissage de plaques et blocs de marbre, granit et pierre en tout genre selon la Revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que:Les têtes porte-outils (8) appartenant à un seul chariot (6) sont réciproquement indépendantes.
- Installation automatique de dressage et polissage de plaques et blocs de marbre, granit et pierre en tout genre selon la Revendication 4, caractérisé par le fait que:Les têtes porte-outils (8) appartenant à un groupe sont désactivées par le contrôle de l'installation.
