Sobald diese eingesetzt sind, wird die Glasscheibe durch Anziehen der Gewindemutter fest mit dem Stützgerüst verbunden. Der abdichtbare kürzere Bolzen kann entweder vor der Endmontage oder aber auch bereits im Werk mit der Glasscheibe verbunden werden. Dazu werden eine übliche Glasschutzbuchse und eine Zwischenlage eingesetzt und mittels der größeren Mutter mit entsprechendem Innengewinde miteinander verschraubt.
