Definitions
- the invention relates to a socket connection for ribbed reinforcing bars, the reinforcing bars being threaded at their ends to be connected have and can be screwed into one end of the sleeve screw connection. It is particularly about the connection of reinforcing bars, the longitudinal ribs and have inclined ribs according to DIN 488.
- the different heights of the ribs result in the application of one Thread following problems: If the nominal diameter of the thread accordingly the diameter of the longitudinal ribs, the thread may be only cut into this, while the helical ribs are largely unprocessed stay. In the event of a load, this can lead to the longitudinal ribs being overloaded against which the helical ribs bear almost no load.
- the nominal diameter of the thread corresponds to the diameter of the helical ribs, they may be too high Longitudinal ribs damage or destroy the thread cutting device.
- the present invention is based on the object of a To develop sleeve connection, on the one hand, no expensive assembly tools needed, on the other hand, ensures reliable power transmission.
- the socket connection sought should be easy to use Award on the construction site.
- an essential advantage of the invention is that the capping the vertex can be done with relatively simple tools and that then also the threading with less effort than before - if necessary also manually - is made possible.
- the height of the threads applied to the ends of the reinforcing bars becomes expediently chosen to be somewhat smaller or equal to the height of the cut ribs, while for the thread length at least 1.5 times, in particular at least should provide twice the nominal diameter.
- the specialist has various construction options for the formation of the sleeve itself.
- the sleeve can thus consist of two coaxial sleeve parts exist, of which one sleeve part a bore with an internal thread, the other Socket part has a matching projection with an external thread, so that both socket parts can be screwed together, whereas they on their opposite Have screw-in openings for the reinforcing bars at the ends.
- the screw connection of the two sleeve parts to each other can be done via a cylindrical or a conical thread, depending on the design of the bore and of the corresponding lead.
- the one sleeve part is a cylindrical pin with an external thread
- this sleeve part with a concentric, tapered To provide a protrusion, a kind of tip. This is the “threading" the pin in the threaded bore of the other sleeve part easier.
- connection of the two sleeve parts can also be facilitated in that the thread on the pin and in the threaded bore as a conical thread is performed. This means that you can screw in fewer turns to screw the two socket parts together. Alternatively, you can but of course you can also work with cylindrical threads. In In both cases, it is advisable to use a torque wrench to tighten the screws to ensure that a specified tightening torque is ensured.
- the sleeve can also consist of only one part, in that two opposite coaxial screw holes for the reinforcing bars are provided. In this case, both reinforcing bars are in the same Screwed-in sleeve part.
- FIGS. 1 and 2 show the two reinforcing bars 1 to be connected and 2. They are in accordance with DIN 448 by two opposite one another Longitudinal ribs 3 and parallel to each other by two rows arranged between them arranged oblique ribs 4 profiled. Regarding the position, shape and dimensions the full content of these ribs is referred to DIN 488.
- Both rods have a cylindrical thread 5 at their end and are therefore screwed into a corresponding threaded bore 6 of a sleeve part 7 or 8.
- the sleeve parts 7 and 8 are at least locally polygonal on their outer circumference, especially designed as a hexagon so that it is fixed - preferably with a torque wrench - screwed to its corresponding rod 1 or 2 can be. It can be at the inner end of the threaded bore 6 Stop may be provided on which the rods 1 and 2 abut when screwing in to ensure a defined length of intervention.
- the sleeves 7 and 8 are designed differently at their two free ends: While the sleeve 7 has a concentrically projecting, reduced-diameter pin 7a with a cylindrical external thread, the other sleeve part 8 has a concentric bore 8a matching this threaded pin with a cylindrical internal thread, so that both sleeve parts can be screwed together, the two reinforcing bars 1 and 2 can also be rotated.
- the threaded pin has 7a a concentric, preferably tapering projection 7b on, while the threaded bore 8a of the other sleeve part in a funnel-like expands opening 8b.
- FIGS. 3 and 4 One recognises there first the longitudinal ribs 3, which in the usual way - straight or helical - run through and diametrically opposed to each other. Between the two longitudinal ribs 3 are arranged two rows of oblique ribs 4. From the front view in FIG. 3 it can be seen that the longitudinal ribs 3 are radial usually protrude more than the helical ribs 4. This is due to the given Tolerance ranges permitted.
- Figure 5 shows a one-piece sleeve connection, in which a cylindrical sleeve part 10 threaded holes 10a and 10b at its two opposite ends has, in which the reinforcing bars 1 and 2 can be screwed.
- connection between the reinforcing bars 2 and the sleeve is also made by a cylindrical thread as with the rebar 1.
- the conical thread has the great advantage that you can needs only about one turn to engage all threads. This significantly simplifies assembly.
- FIG. 6 again shows a two-part socket connection similar to FIGS. 1 and 2, namely with two sleeve parts 7 and 8, each at their opposite ends have a cylindrical bore 6 with an internal thread, into which the invention pretreated concrete bars 1 and 2 can be screwed in can.
- connection of the two sleeve parts 7 and 8 does not take place here cylindrical thread 7a / 8a as in Figures 1 and 2, but via a conical Bore 8c with internal thread and a matching conical projection 7c with External thread, so that both sleeve parts 7 and 8 only about one turn need to be screwed together to ensure a firm connection.
- the advantage of the invention is that you can with simple and cost-effective measures a high-strength threaded connection between the reinforcing bars and their associated socket part.
