Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for climbing on flexible or rigid support elements.
- the object of the invention is therefore to provide a device that allows a simple functional means a full reliability and a power-saving climbing, especially for people on ropes or rigid support elements.
- the device according to the invention has the particular advantage that it meets ergonomic requirements and can be climbed with their help with full body strength. It is suitable even for inexperienced climbers and their handling is easy to learn. The climbing device ensures a high level of work safety, which is still present even in case of operating errors.
- a climbing device is shown as it can be used to recover people.
- the basis for the climbing movements is the movement characteristic of the grippers 4 and 6. If a force acting on the gripper 4 and 6 acts downward (the gripper is burdened, for example, with the weight of the person climbing), the carrying rope 1 used here as the carrying element becomes the first clamped in the grippers 4 and / or 6. If one of the grippers 4 or 6 is relieved of the downward force, it can be moved on the supporting cable 1.
- the climbing up is therefore realized as follows:
- the two lower grippers 6 are first clamped by the downwardly acting weight of the climbing device and the operator to the two support cables 1.
- the upper gripper 4 are relieved, activated by means of the timer actuator 9 and moves together with the climbing device on the support cable 1 upwards. If the pedal lever 8 subsequently relieved and the seat 7 loaded, clamped the upper gripper 4 due to the now acting on them downward force on the supporting cable 1, after the expiration of the delay time, fixed.
- the timer according to the invention is crucial. It is formed in the present example in the grippers 4 and 6 as a shock absorber. If the loaded grippers 4 and 6 are relieved, they are stuck again after a short delay time on the support cable 1. During this time, the grippers 4 and 6 are open and can be moved down the rope 1. This short delay is used for downhill climbing.
- the pedal lever 8 are briefly relieved and then stepped down. Within the short delay time mentioned above, the lower gripper 6 move together with the pedal levers 8 on the support cable 1 down and then clamped to the support cable 1 again. Subsequently, the upper gripper 4 is briefly relieved. Within its time delay caused by the timer actuator can now move the upper gripper 4 and thus the seat 7 down.
- the clamping connection can be canceled by moving the gripper upwards.
- a short lifting of the yoke 3 is sufficient to the pressing force between the parts repealed. Needle flat cages and closing wedges 10 fall down by their own mass in the component assembly and the gripper is open.
- the run-up slopes 2 are rotatably mounted at the top and at the bottom of the timing actuator 9 fitting. Between the chamfers 2 and the locking wedges 10, the rollers 11 are arranged. At a predetermined altitude of the rollers 11, the locking wedges 10 are pressed against the rope 1 due to the geometric design of the run-on slopes, the time actuators 9 are moved together. In this position, the device is fixed to the rope. The displacement of the device is made possible by relieving it, the rollers 11 run back. The free movement of the device on the rope 1 is given until the time actuators 9 have adopted their original shape until the run-on slope 2 are pressed over the rollers 11 and the strikers 10 to the rope and thus the clamping process begins again.
- FIG. 5 and FIG. 6 show climbing devices according to the invention, in particular for quickly overcoming the altitude.
- the support cables 1 pass through the grippers 4 and 6.
- the handles 22 and in the gripping sleeves of the spacer bracket 25 are arranged.
- the housings of the handles 4 slots are incorporated, are hooked into the positive connection elements on which the system belt 13 is attached.
- the safety ropes 14 hooked, whereby unintentional unhooking above connecting elements from the grippers 4 is prevented.
- the seat 12 is arranged with the seat belt 24 located thereon.
- the tension springs 16 are attached at their outer ends to the grippers 4 and 6 and at the inner ends of the seat 12.
- the strut 5 is positively mounted with it foot receptacles in the gripper 6.
- the spacer bracket 25 realizes the required distance for climbing, z. B. from the building.
- the climber has created the harness 23 and the safety ropes 14 in the o. G. Hooked fasteners. It is thus secured against falling. Thereafter, the seat belt 24 are closed and the feet inserted into the foot receptacles of the strut 5.
- the power is absorbed by the seat 12 via the system belt 13 and the closed gripper 4 on the support cables.
- the climbing person can shift their weight on the strut 25, get up and with your hands the gripper 4 against the tensile force of the upper tension spring 16th push up. Then she can sit down again and the process can be started again.
- connection between the seat 12 and grippers 4 is made pressure-stable in the system belt 13, the grippers 4, as described above, are pushed upwards without the use of the hands when the climbing person gets up.
- the grippers 6 can be fastened in a suitable manner directly to the shoes of the climber, whereby an alternating climbing is possible.
- Fig. 6 the climbing device according to the invention without seat 12 is shown.
- a corresponding harness is to be selected, which has shoulder loops and allows for sitting.
- the safety ropes 14 are attached to the back loop of the harness 23 and passed through the shoulder loops of the harness 23.

The mode of operation of the climbing device according to the invention will be explained in particular with reference to FIG. 4.
In Fig. 4 a climbing device is shown as it can be used to recover people. The basis for the climbing movements is the movement characteristic of the
Das Aufwärtsklettern wird deshalb wie folgt realisiert:The climbing up is therefore realized as follows:
The two
When the pedal levers are relieved, the
Have the
Also for downhill climbing the timer according to the invention is crucial. It is formed in the present example in the
The clamping connection can be canceled by moving the gripper upwards. As is apparent from Figs. 2 and 3, a short lifting of the
In the
In Fig. 5 und Fig. 6 sind erfindungsgemäße Klettervorrichtungen insbesondere zur schnellen Höhenüberwindung dargestellt.FIG. 5 and FIG. 6 show climbing devices according to the invention, in particular for quickly overcoming the altitude.
The
