Definitions
- the invention relates to containers, in particular waste containers, such as those for Collection of household and industrial waste can be used.
- Such containers have a lid that holds the container in its closed position closes, especially completely closes, and depending on the design after reaching a certain point of the closing movement, the dead center, due to gravity or a spring preload in the fully closed closed position moved.
- the one brought up Closing force depends either on the spring preload or on the dead weight of the lid, and can be used for large containers, which are typically a swing lid pivotable about a horizontal axis, for example made of metal, be so large that one during the closing movement in the Gap between the closing lid and the body of the container object or person is arrested.
- Another problem with such known child locks is that despite the child lock, the other functions, such as the option automatic gripping, opening the swing lid and emptying the Containers may be affected by a collection vehicle.
- the actuation element or elements for deactivating the latching is so arranged and / or designed so that it by a child who at least has its head in the opening, cannot be operated.
- Another possibility is to provide only one actuator, However, this is to be trained from the effort of a child cannot be operated.
- Such a container is already due to the size and thus the weight or the pretensioning force of the swing lid generated by a spring with two Handles on the front edge or on the top of the swing lid.
- a preferred solution, in particular the retrofitting of such swing lid containers enables, is to be activated and deactivated Arrange the locking projection on the swing lid.
- the locking receptacle with which the activatable and deactivatable locking projection interacts is then on the body of the container, especially in the area of Upper edge of its side walls, arranged.
- buttons or pull buttons are on the container or preferably on Swing cover, especially on its front edge, two to each other to attach spaced buttons or pull buttons, with the help of the child lock can be deactivated by the locking projection from the area of Rest recordings are brought out, usually swung out.
- Both Push buttons or pull buttons must be the same as for the options described above can also be operated simultaneously so that the lid is completely closed can be.
- a particularly simple option is to use such pushers in the vertical Front edge of the swing lid (2) in a corresponding hole to arrange, the front edge as well as one behind it parallel web wall penetrates.
- a swivel lever is located under the lid pivots and deactivates the child lock.
- buttons or pull knobs act on the same pairing of locking projection and locking receptacle, but both have to be deactivated pressed or pulled simultaneously.
- the child lock also automatically deactivated for the In the event of the entire container tipping forward, as is the case when emptying of the container. This may be necessary because certain devices, on the collection vehicles for automatic gripping, lifting and emptying of the container are used, for this the lid at the beginning of the Process in a defined position, namely the completely closed Position, need. If a container is to be emptied because of the childproof lock is not completely closed, it should be complete Closing the lid at the start of the emptying process, namely when lifting and tipping up the container, done automatically.
- the locking comb into which the locking projection the child lock can snap in from the effective area of the locking projection swing out.
- the locking comb z. B. from a spring in the activated position held, and additionally held positively by a locking part.
- the Locking part itself is in turn shiftable in its position due to the inclination of the container.
- Fig. 1a shows an approximately 1,100 I roll container 1 with a body 6, the is open at the top and closed by a swing lid 2 can.
- the swing lid 2 is by means of struts 15 on the outside of the side walls of the body 6 extend downwards, pivotable about a pivot axis 7 located near the bottom of the body 6, and can of the in Fig. 1a shown completely closing the body 6 closed position be pivoted from the rear to an opening position like this is shown for example in the solution according to the invention with reference to FIG. 1b.
- the cover 2 is biased into the closed position by means of a spring 16 is arranged between the strut 15 and the body 6, either as shown attacking a remote from the pivot axis 7 of the strut 15 Point or as a torsion spring around the pivot axis 7.
- the entire container 1 is mobile with the help of rollers 17 which on or under the bottom of the body 6 are attached.
- FIG. 1b shows a container according to FIG. 1a, but in the open position, So with the lid 2 partially swung open, and additionally with a locking device between cover 2 and body 6, of which in Fig. 1b the body 6 Arranged locking receptacles 4 can be seen.
- the locking device is better shown in the sectional view of Figures 2, as follows described.
- the locking receptacles 4 are formed as depressions in a locking comb 18, which - as shown in Fig. 1b - on the arcuate upper edges the side walls 6a, 6b of the body 6 is arranged or laterally on the Inside or outside of these side walls can be arranged, the Locking comb 18 does not have to protrude above the upper edges of the side walls 6a, 6b.
- the locking receptacles 4 in the locking comb 18 are the closing movement of the swing lid 2 oppositely inclined, so that on the swing cover 2 Arranged locking projection automatically when closing in one of the locking receptacles 4 enters into contact with the, if it has not previously been deactivated Locking receptacles 4 and the locking comb 18 preventing position withdrawn becomes.
- Figure 2 shows one possibility of such a in the activated position Prestressed, deactivatable locking projection 3, which corresponds to the Locking comb 4 such a device on both sides, ie close to the two Side walls 6a, 6b, is present.
- the handle 9 of the swing lid 2 consists of one front opening between the actual cover 2 and a so connected, in the area of the handle below it arranged spaced handle bar 9 ', which are taken by the user for pulling the swing lid 2 got to.
- a pull rod 5 which is also in the area of the Handle bar 9 'parallel and at a distance from it in the activated position from Seen from behind the handle bar 9 'at such a distance is arranged that the pull rod 5 from one in the opening of the handle 9th grasped hand and by forming a fist on the handle 9 ' can be used.
- the pull rod 5 is at its ends with the free end of each Connected pivot lever 11, the other ends with a pivot shaft 12th are rotatably connected, which is pivotally mounted in a bearing block 20 is attached to the underside of the swing lid 2.
- the pivot shaft 12 points - when viewing the container from the front - from the Drawbar 5 outwards in the direction of the side wall 6a or 6b of the container or in the direction of the locking receptacles 4, so that the free End of the pivot shaft 12 in the locking comb 18 and its locking receptacles 4th can intervene.
- a in and out of the effective range of the locking comb 4 Rotating movable locking projection 3 is achieved in that the pivot shaft 12 has an S-shaped end which is cranked out of the longitudinal direction 10.
- the handle spring 19 When activated, as shown in Fig. 2a, the handle spring 19, the between the pivot lever 11 - as shown in Fig. 2 -, or the cranked Locking projection 3 - as shown in Fig. 3 - and the underside of the swing lid 2 is arranged, the locking projection 3 as far down that at Closing the lid of the locking projection 3 in one of the locking receptacles 4 of the Locking comb 18 retracts, and thereby the closing movement of the swing lid 2 is stopped by either for the pivot lever 11 End stop, e.g. B.
- Locking projection 3 are swung high enough that it is above the Latching comb 18 lies, and thereby over the locking comb 18 when the Swing cover 2 is moved away, whereby the locking projection 3 and thus the entire locking device is in the deactivated position.
- Fig. 3 shows a partially cut container 1 of another in top view Solution:
- the pull rod 5 ' but not pulled forward, but the pull rod 5 'is laterally extends outside to the locking ridge 18 with its locking receptacles 4, which can correspond to those in FIGS. 2 and 3, but the tie rod 5 'is along their longitudinal extent so far that the outer free end this pull rod can be brought out of engagement with the locking comb 18.
- the play of the inside designed as a handle End of the pull rod 5 'in the longitudinal direction within the handle pocket 9 is sufficient large sized.
- the pull rod 5 ' for example opposite one of the bearing blocks 20 supporting the tie rod 5, in the direction towards the outside, that is, into the activated one that can be brought into engagement with the locking comb 18 Position, biased.
- a swing lid 2 can be seen, the one on its front edge has vertically downward-pointing, free-ending leg as edge 25, and at a distance behind it also from the main surface of the cover 2 down pointing web 26 that also ends at the bottom.
- pivot shaft 12 has at one end - preferably formed in one piece from steel round material - the S-shaped crank 13 with their locking projection 3 as a free end leg down while on the other End has a simple offset as a pivot lever 11 upwards.
- This free End of the pivot lever 11 penetrates a switching rod 24 through Elongated hole 22 through.
- the switching rod 24 is part of the push button 14 ', which is through the web 26th and the edge 25 approximately horizontally and transversely to the direction of the main part the pivot shaft 12 'and thus also transversely to the direction 7' of the pivot axis the swing lid is arranged.
- the pull switch 14 consists of this switching rod 24, which on the Long end 22 facing away from the front end is connected to a pusher 23, which protrudes through the edge 25, and a front thickened end has, so that it does not pass through the bore in the edge 25 inwards can be pressed.
- the pusher 23 has an undercut recess at its rear end to plug in the switching rod 24, which is used for this purpose positive connection with the pusher 23, has missing locking lugs, so that after plugging together the two parts are firmly connected.
- a spiral spring 16 is placed over the switching rod 24 is inserted and is thus between the web 26th and the edge 25.
- the spring 16 ' is supported on the one hand on the front of the web 26 and on the other hand on the rear end of the pusher 23, thus presses the pusher 23 into the protruding portion shown in FIG. 5a Position and on the other hand the locking projection 3 in the activated position, that is, if necessary snapped into the catch 4.
- Fig. 4 shows the locking receptacles 4 to the Sidewalls of the body 6 of the container, and the pusher 23rd in contrast, something is offset towards the center of the front of the container 1.
- the Distance between the two pushers 23 is still so large that only one Adult, but not a child, can press both pushers 23 simultaneously.
- Fig. 5 shows the gravity deactivation of the entire child safety device one of the above-described embodiments.
- FIG. 5 shows a view in the viewing direction z. B. the figure 3 from the inside Sidewall of the container, but with the omission of the lid and the child lock housed therein.
- Fig. 5 it can be seen how instead of a fixed locking comb 18, the can have one or more notches, a pivotable detent comb 18 ' Is used, the in the active position shown in Fig. 5 over the Edge 8 of the wall of the body 6 protrudes and its function as a locking comb 18 ' Fulfills.
- the locking comb 18 ' is part of a plate-shaped comb part 29, which by a Axis 27, which runs perpendicular to the wall of the body 6, parallel to this is attached so that in the active position shown in Fig. 5, the locking comb 18 'protrudes outwards by the comb part 29 with a stop 30 against a lower edge of the body 6 counterclockwise (shown in this left-hand version, viewed from the front of container 1). In this position is the comb part 29 between a tension spring 28 between Comb part 29 and body biased, and additionally in this position by a Nose 34 held in a form-fitting manner by means of a pushing against the nose 34 Pawl 35.
- the pawl 35 projects radially inwards in the direction of the axis 27, and is Part of the locking part 31, which is also a plate-shaped part parallel to the wall of the body 6 is pivotally mounted about an axis 27 '.
- the Axes 27 and 27 ' are located on a line that is approximately transverse to edge 8 of the body 6 runs.
- the locking part 31 hangs with most of its surface and thus its Mass down from axis 27 'while pawl 35 is at the free end an upwardly projecting extension is arranged.
- the possibility of movement of the locking part 31 is by a Lower edge provided recess 33 and a protruding there Extension 32, which is fixedly mounted with respect to the body 6, limited.
- the axes of rotation 27 and 27 'including the locking part 31 are for Protection against contamination from a housing 36 added which preferably also includes the extension 32.
- Figures 6a and 6b show a further solution, which differs from the previous ones Solutions differs in that two actuators, namely identical pushbuttons 14a, 14b are present, but only one only pairing of locking projection 3 and locking receptacle 4, both of which Actuate buttons 14a, 14b.
- the actuation of only one of the buttons 14a is not sufficient or 14b, but only the simultaneous, joint operation.
- Swivel shaft 12 ' which is parallel to the front edge of the swing lid 2 in this is installed, and has two cranked ends:
- the crank at one end is S-shaped, and the eccentrically offset part forms the locking projection 3.
- the crank at the other end is a simple crank, especially around an angle of about 90 °, and forms the pivot lever 11 '. All three mentioned Parts together are in one piece, for example from round material by means of bending manufactured.
- the pivoting of the pivot lever 11 ' also pivots the Angular position of the locking projection 3 'and moves it from the activated into the deactivated position and vice versa.
- the push buttons 14a, 14b penetrate the front edge of the swing lid 2, especially the one parallel to the front edge to the rear stabilizing web 26 of the lid, and are at their rear, free end each one end of a rocker 37 articulated. In the middle is on the rocker 37 the free, so eccentric with respect to the pivot shaft 12 ' End of the pivot lever 11 'attached so that any displacement of the rocker 37 in Direction of movement of the buttons a pivoting of the pivot lever 11 'around Longitudinal axis of the pivot shaft 12 'causes.
- the pushbuttons 14a, 14b are in turn biased by a spring into the starting position in which the Locking projection 3 is engaged with the locking receptacle 4.
- the attachment of the free End of the pivot lever 11 'on the rocker 37 can be made movable.
- the sleeve 38 has one own transversely projecting pivot lever 39, which in the corresponding Recess of this button 14a engages, which is thus able when actuated is to pivot the sleeve 38, again the longitudinal axis of the therein pivot shaft 12 'extending therethrough.
- FIGS. 8 and 9 The solution of FIGS. 8 and 9 is based on the basic principle of rotational engagement of the pivot shaft 12 'with its locking projection 3 in the Locking receptacle 4, for what purpose the pivot shaft 3 also by means of a spring can be biased into the locking position.
- the unlocking becomes translational by shifting the swivel shaft 12 'completed in its longitudinal direction until the locking projection 3 axially out Engages with the locking receptacle 4.
- the axial displacement takes place after the Principle of wedge action:
- buttons 14a, 14b Pressing one of the buttons causes the corresponding transverse extension to turn on a longitudinal movement of the displaceable at this point in accordance with the wedge effect mounted pivot shaft 12 'causes.
- each button 14a, 14b In addition, a longitudinal stop 42a, 42b is present, which when the button is not actuated radially in the path of movement of the transverse extension 40a, 40b, and only by Actuation of this button radially out of engagement of the transverse extension 40a, 40b reached.
- This step-by-step solution allows the game in the device be made smaller, despite high functional reliability, since several successively stepped anchor points must be overcome.
