Abstract

The glass panels which cascade downwards are held by a holder having a support arm (1) fixable on the support and ending at the free end (5) in a downwardly aligned contact bearing arm (6) which has at least an upper and a lower bearing area (13,19) for each glass panel. The bearing arm extends towards the glass panel (16) and the upper and the lower bearing area each form a side member of a U-shaped socket (14,20) for each glass panel. The bearing arm is cropped between the two contact bearing areas so that the lower bearing area is further to the outside than the upper bearing area (13). The U-shaped socket can be a U-shaped damping part of elastic material.

Description

The invention relates to a holder for at least one glass panel of a glass facade, in the successive glass panels from top to bottom along the facade arranged in an imbricated overlapping manner.

Such glass facades are known and are for example for training used a weather cover, behind the reveal window. The weather cover hereby forms a rain cover and a certain wind protection, the sound and Thermal insulation is taken from the windows. Such a glass facade but also the actual building wall of a non habitable building form, for example, a parking garage.

In known glass facades with imbricated or roof tile overlapping Glass plates are usually attached to the glass panels in the Way that in the overlap region of the glass panels edge holes in the Glass are inserted and the glass sheets through the holes by means of pins, Connected plates and screws and on the building or on a corresponding, from uprights, spars, rails od. Like. Existing support structure attached become.

Supporting profiles for fastening small-format clothing panels (such as colored Asbestos cement plates) which have U-shaped receptacles for the plates, are known from DE 32 13 341 A1 and DE 32 03 467 A1. This Support profiles are not intended to hold glass plates or not suitable for this purpose. A holder for several glass panels a glass facade according to the preamble of claim 1 is known from EP-A-0 752 508.

The object of the invention is to provide a novel holder of the type mentioned provide, through which a simplified assembly of the glass sheets and a increased stability of the glass facade is achieved. This succeeds according to the invention in that the holder a on the building or on a carrier, spar, uprights od. Like. Attachable support arm, at its free end at least one downwardly disposed plant leg is arranged, the downwardly facing abutment leg of the support arm at least one upper and at least one lower abutment region for a respective glass sheet, wherein the plant leg in the investment areas in the direction of to be applied Glass panel extends and the upper and lower abutment area respectively form a side wall of a U-shaped, adjustable in their width receptacle for the respective glass panel, and the plant leg between the two Investment areas is bent, with the lower investment area with respect to the facade further out lies as the upper investment area.

Holes in the glass panels, which also in a tempered glass material weakening represent an increased risk of breakage avoided in a holder according to the invention and the assembly of the glass panels is simplified. The glass panel may be in the U-shaped receptacle after her Insertion fixed by reducing the clear width of the recording become. By the bend of the plant leg is a distance between reached the two scale-like overlapping glass panels. This leads on the one hand to a sufficient ventilation of the glass facade, on the other hand thereby a possibility of cleaning the overlapping area of the glass panels. Furthermore, by this bend a distance of the upper glass panel be reached from the outer end of the support arm attached to the building. This can damage the glass panel in this area when on the Glass panel loading, such as wind pressure, can be prevented. In addition this in turn allows cleaning of the glass panel in the area of its lower Randes reached. The holder according to the invention is further from the static Viewpoint ago particularly advantageous.

Advantageously, in the U-shaped receptacles U-shaped damping parts made of an elastic material arranged to a uniform pressure distribution to achieve the glass and to protect the glass edge. The base leg the U-shaped damping part preferably has a folded Section with a reduced wall thickness, the accordion-like is extensible, wherein the U-shaped damping member to different can adjust the light widths of the recording.

If on a post 4 in corresponding vertical distances such holder are attached, so are the upper horizontal edges 15 of the held discs in the downwardly open, U-shaped receptacles 14 and the lower horizontal edges 29 of the glass panels 16 in the upwardly open, U-shaped receptacles 20. Due to the offset of the receptacles 14, 20 in the direction perpendicular to the facade, the glass panels 16 are slightly inclined relative to the vertical, wherein the lower horizontal edge of an upper glass panel by the vertical distance between the receptacles 14, 20 is lower than the upper horizontal edge of a lower glass panel. To one of these inclination, preferably less than 5 ° is, corresponding obtuse angle 30, the support arm 1 is angled upwards. It is characterized by a rectangular design of the other parts (with Exception of the two offsets in the plant legs 6) allows, without that there is a transfer of bending stresses on the glass sheets in the Shots 14, 20 is coming.

The holder shown in Figures 1 and 2 has two down and upwardly open receptacles 14, 20 for receiving the upper and lower horizontal edges 15, 29 of two juxtaposed glass panels 16 on.

Since the two receptacles 14 and 20 each in the horizontal direction from each other are spaced, lie the corner areas of the glass panels in which the glass panels have the least stability, free and unloaded next to the receptacles 14, 20 of the holder.

Die Anlageschenkel 6' enden in diesem Fall unmittelbar unterhalb des oberen Anlagebereiches 13.For the production of a complete glass facade further holders are used, as shown in Figures 3 to 7. At the top of the top Series of glass panels 16 of the facade is not an upwardly open receptacle for Retaining the lower edge of a glass sheet more necessary. Here is a holder can be used according to FIG. The plant leg 6 'ends in this case immediately below the upper contact area 13.

Similarly, at the bottom of the bottom row of glass panels Holder can be used, as shown in Fig. 6. This holder is identical to the one in Fig. 1 and 2 shown, except that on the underside of the support arm 1 no angle parts 7 are screwed and of course the respective damping parts 17 are omitted.

The holders described so far were each for two laterally adjacent Designed glass panels. On the side edge of the facade are instead of in the Figures 1, 3 and 6 shown in the holder shown in Figures 4, 5 and 7 Holder can be used. These holders are each a single, down and / or top open receptacle provided. It can therefore be a narrower one Support arm 1 'can be used, otherwise the structure of this holder is analogous to that of the previously described. Ends the glass facade on an outside corner of the Building on which one faces the other areas of the building If there is increased wind pressure, instead of that shown in FIGS. 4, 5 and 7 Training preferred a correspondingly broader training of the holder, wherein a support arm 1 may be provided, as shown in Figures 1, 3 and 6 is, and the individual up and / or down open shots can extend over the entire width of this support arm 1.

In all embodiments of holders shown, the support arm 1, 1 'each over a mounting bracket 2 connected to a post 4. For exact adjustment the distance of the glass facade from the upright 4 is the support arm 1 opposite the support leg 31 of the mounting bracket slidably. These are in the Support arm 1,1 'long holes 32 provided through which the threaded holes in the support leg 31 screwed screws 3 range. The top of the The support leg 31 is further formed serrated, as well as the adjacent thereto Bottom of the support arm 1. When tightened screws 3 is thereby a positive engagement with respect to a displacement between the support arm. 1 and the support leg 31 given.

For mounting a glass panel, the angle pieces 22 of the holder are first with intended for receiving the lower horizontal edge 29 of the glass sheet 16, unscrewed upwards receptacles 20 of the support webs 21. Of the upper horizontal edge 15 of the glass sheet 16 is in the downwardly open shots Inserted 14 of the corresponding overlying holder, wherein the lower portion of the glass sheet still outside the support web 21 of the underlying Holder is. Is the upper horizontal edge correspondingly far into the recordings 14 inserted, the lower horizontal edge 29 can be pivoted inwards and on the corresponding support web 21 and the on it arranged damping members 28 are discontinued. As a result, the Angle parts 22 of the upwardly open receptacles 20 screwed. For fixing the glass sheet 16 are finally the angle parts 7 of the downwardly open Shooting and the angle parts 22 of the upwardly open shots when open Screws 12, 27 braced against the glass sheet 16 and in this position fixed by tightening the screws 12, 27. The elastic damping parts 17 distribute the pressure exerted evenly on the in the recording lying area of the glass panel.
