Claims (5)

  1. Dispositif de refroidissement pour un fluide liquide d'un moteur à combustion interne comprenant
    - un échangeur de chaleur (2) avec des chambres (5) disposées diamétralement par rapport à une zone de refroidisseur (3) et entourées de boîtes (4),
    - une soupape thermostatique (6) commandant le débit de l'échangeur de chaleur en fonction de la température et située dans un boîtier (7) disposé dans l'une des chambres (5) et relié à la boîte (4), et
    - dans le boîtier entre un raccord d'arrivée (8) et un raccord d'évacuation (9) une liaison conductrice de fluide est commandée au moyen d'une soupape de court-circuit (11) actionnée par une soupape principale (10), commandée en fonction de la température, de la soupape thermostatique (6),
    caractérisé en ce que
    - la boîte (5) équipée de la soupape thermostatique (6) présente une paroi de séparation (14) séparant la zone de refroidisseur (3) en sections à flux inverse (12, 13), avec un passage (15) commandé par la soupape principale (10), et
    - le boîtier (7) présente en aval du raccord d'arrivée (8) un passage d'arrivée (16) conducteur de fluide vers la section d'arrivée (12) de la zone de refroidisseur (3),
    - passage qui est actif lorsque la soupape de court-circuit (11) bloque la liaison vers le raccord d'évacuation (9), et
    - le fluide refroidi est conduit à partir de la section de retour (13) reliée à la section d'arrivée (12) via l'autre chambre (5), par l'intermédiaire de la soupape principale ouverte (10) du thermostat (6), jusqu'au raccord d'évacuation (9).
  2. Dispositif de refroidissement selon la revendication 1,
    caractérisé en ce que
    - la boîte de l'échangeur de chaleur (5) comprenant la paroi de séparation (14) présente un boîtier de soupape thermostatique (7) disposé de manière intégrée,
    - le boîtier reçoit, par une ouverture (17) côté raccord d'arrivée, un insert (19) formé au niveau d'un couvercle de fermeture (18),
    - l'insert présente en aval du raccord d'arrivée (8), également formé au niveau du couvercle de fermeture (18), des passages (20) répartis sur la périphérie, et
    - sert de palier opposé d'une unité (22) comprenant la soupape principale (10) et la soupape de court-circuit (11) avec le passage de court-circuit (21),
    - la soupape principale (10), qui forme avec la soupape de court-circuit (11) une unité de soupape, étant associée, par l'intermédiaire d'un ressort de rappel (23), au moyen de l'insert (19), au passage (15) côté paroi de séparation.
  3. Dispositif de refroidissement selon la revendication 2,
    caractérisé en ce qu'
    une vanne-boisseau (24) est associée au passage de court-circuit (21) avec une section circulaire en tant que soupape de court-circuit (11).
  4. Dispositif de refroidissement selon la revendication 2,
    caractérisé en ce que
    - la boîte de l'échangeur de chaleur (5) qui comprend la paroi de séparation (14) ainsi que le boîtier de soupape thermostatique (7) est fabriquée d'une seule pièce en matière plastique,
    - avec le cas échéant un raccord de remplissage (25) formé.
  5. Dispositif de refroidissement selon l'une des revendications 1 à 4,
    caractérisé par
    son utilisation en tant que refroidisseur d'eau ou d'huile, en particulier pour des véhicules monotraces.
