- circular disk-shaped data carriers such as floppy disks, compact discs (CD), removable hard disks, records, optical filter disks, lenses, holograms or semiconductor disks
- the data or sound carrier In order to ensure a long service life for data or sound carriers such as floppy disks, removable hard disks, compact discs (CD) or records, i.e. To ensure frequent playback and playback with approximately the same good quality, the data or sound carrier must be protected from dust, dirt and mechanical influences, in particular from scratching.
- optical components such as lenses, filter disks, holograms or semiconductor wafers, which have to be protected against impact, scratching and dusting and in which removal must be ensured without touching the circular surfaces with the fingers in order to ensure perfect functionality.
- Closed containers are used for this purpose, and are available in various forms and designs on the market.
- containers are used most frequently for use in the computer and music industry, which consist of a rectangular base and a rectangular cover made of transparent plastic, which can be hinged together on one edge by means of a hinge
- the base has a pin in the middle, on which the CD is detachably held at its central circular recess.
- the essentially cylindrical pin has shapes between which the CD is free approximately in the center of the container Hanging is usually held in the lid of such containers, which means that a user manual or a booklet can be removed.
- Such containers require proper handling when opening and removing the compact disc. If space is limited, it proves to be a disadvantage that the opened one Container is about twice as large as the closed one
- Laid-open specification EP 0 181 835 A2 discloses a container in which the closure part has a rectangular basic shape, one narrow side of which is covered by a lid-shaped receiving part rotatably arranged in a corner region.
- the lid is integral with an essentially U-shaped, closed state Container protruding holder connected To remove or insert a disk or a compact disc, the disk holder can be swung out of the container by opening the lid.
- This known device is relatively expensive to manufacture and open when it is opened
- a container is known from German published patent application DE 44 08 851 AI and European patent EP 0 750 781 B1, in which the receiving part is an approximately semicircular disk-shaped receptacle and the closure part is also an approximately semicircular disk-shaped closure sleeve and in which the inner contour of the closure sleeve is the same or slightly larger circle radius and an equal or slightly larger thickness than that Has sound carrier and be the outer contour of the closure sleeve has an equal or slightly smaller circle radius and an equal or slightly smaller thickness than the inner contour of the receiving sleeve and in which the connection of the receiving sleeve to the closure sleeve is formed approximately at the center of its circle closed essentially has the shape of a flat, circular box, the diameter of which is only slightly larger than the diameter of the circular disk-shaped sound carrier, has the disadvantage that it is not securely vertical without aids and also has no means of twisting around the center of the circle, such as this is required, for example, in a sales stand, and that no holding means are
- a container which consists of a flat receiving part which is an approximately cuboid receiving sleeve and a closing part which is an approximately semicircular disk-shaped closing sleeve which has a recess for at least partially receiving a circular disk-shaped object, that the inner contour of the receptacle shell can completely accommodate the outer contour of the closure sleeve and that the inner contour of the closure sleeve has an equal or slightly larger radius than the outer diameter of the circular disk-shaped object and a larger internal width than the maximum thickness of the circular disk-shaped object and that the connection of the receptacle sleeve with the locking sleeve is arranged approximately in the center of the circle of the locking sleeve and in the center of the inner circle of the inner contour of the receiving sleeve and the locking sleeve m of the receiving sleeve is rotatable about an axis of rotation
- the disadvantage of this invention is that
- the object of the present invention is to further develop the container of patent application DE 198 48 121 in such a way that an inexpensive container of the type mentioned is created which is partially adapted to the shape of the circular disc-shaped object, which in the closed as well as in the open state has no additional Requires space, in the open state the circular disk-shaped object is freely accessible from all sides and the center of the circular disk-shaped object is freely accessible on all sides, which is torsion-proof against the effects of force in the plane of the circular disk-shaped object, holding means for an essentially rectangular booklet or has a display and holds the circular disc-shaped object without contact with the disc surfaces.
- the container consists of a flat receiving part and a flat closing part, the receiving part being an approximately cuboid-shaped receiving sleeve and the closing part being an approximately cylindrical segment-shaped closing sleeve which has a recess for at least partially receiving a circular disc-shaped object , wherein the inner contour of the receptacle can completely accommodate the outer contour of the closure shell and wherein the inner contour of the closure shell has an equal or slightly larger radius than the outer diameter of the circular disc-shaped object and a larger internal width than the maximum thickness of the circular disc-shaped Object and that the receiving sleeve is arranged on the closure sleeve multiple adjustable and rotatably and displaceably mounted.
- the closure sleeve has an axis of rotation which is m to the plane of symmetry perpendicular to the plane of the circular disc-shaped object and is arranged perpendicular to the end faces of the substantially cylindrical segment-shaped closure sleeve and has a distance from the inner contour of the closure sleeve which is smaller than the radius of the circular disk-shaped object.
- the axis of rotation of the closure sleeve can be displaced longitudinally in a guide track arranged approximately parallel to the lower edge of the receiving sleeve
- Holding means are provided on the outer shell according to the invention, which hold an approximately rectangular instruction manual, an accompanying booklet and / or a display can be detached. Furthermore, there are knobs or the like on the inner contour of the closure sleeve and / or m on the inner contour of the receiving sleeve, which arrange the circular disc-shaped object When transporting or shaking the container, secure the position of the closure sleeve by inserting the circular disk-shaped object m and effectively prevent contact of the end faces of the circular disk-shaped object with the inner surfaces of the receiving and the closure sleeve
- Such a container has the advantage over the known containers that the cuboid circumscribed to the container is only slightly larger than the cuboid circumscribed to the circular disk-shaped object and that the opening of the container and the removal of the circular disk-shaped object can be easily accomplished with one hand, whereby in the open state of the container, the center of the circular disk-shaped object is freely accessible from all sides.
- the rotatable connection between the receiving sleeve and the sealing sleeve can be achieved by arranging two rotationally symmetrical pins on the outer surfaces of the locking sleeve, which engage in m-shaped recesses in the receiving sleeve, the width of the recess is little larger than the smallest diameter of the rotationally symmetrical peg and the length of the recess is larger than one tenth of the radius of the circular disc-shaped object.
