  • Fig. 2 is a cross-section of the wire arranged in the groove. A portion of the wire is masked at two locations to form a marking such as an arrow that is directed towards the exit. At the exit the wire leaves the groove in the floor surface and is in its extension arranged in a holding section along the door frame. The whole door is thus made visible.
  • This guide light system is highly visible, even though the room is filled with, for instance, smoke. Moreover, it withstands external strains such as when exposed to water and oil.

  • This battery supplies voltage to the wire when the device is not connected to an external voltage source.
  • the battery may then suitably be arranged so as to be charged while an external voltage source is connected to the electric lead-in 6. This results in a device which may be used under various circumstances, whether connection to mains voltage is possible or not.

  • the button controls an electric switch which is arranged adjacent to the voltage source for switching between various operating positions.

  • the centre portion of the roller 3 is then suitably formed like a drum, in which the electric parts are arranged.
  • the end portion of the drum is conveniently covered with a lid 15 that is movable for maintenance of the electronics.
  • the end wall of the roller 3 is at its outer edge provided with a crank handle 12 for winding the cord 1 onto the roller 3.
  • the supporting frame 4 comprises a handle portion 8 and two parallel base portions 9.
  • the base portions 9 are each provided with two sleeves 10 of an electrically insulating material, preferably rubber.
  • the sleeves 10 abut against the ground so that the supporting frame 4 is electrically insulated therefrom.
  • the handle portion 8 is provided with an insulating sleeve 11 so that when moving the supporting frame 4, there is no risk of getting any electric shocks.
  • a stopping element 13 is arranged in the supporting frame 4 and engages, in a stopping position, the end wall of the roller 3 facing the supporting frame 4, thereby locking the roller 3, for instance in connection with transport.
  • the stopping element 13 may suitably consist of a threaded stop screw.
  • a hook element 14 is arranged for attaching the cord 1, for instance, to a human being.
  • the guide light system according to the invention may be connected to existing electric systems and has, in such an embodiment, no limitations regarding the length of the wire.

  • the electroluminescent wire may be laid beside the cord material and they are kept together only with the aid of the casing.
  • the electric voltage lead-in 6, the switch button 7 and the electronic devices may then be fixedly arranged in connection with the cord, for instance, in a wall, a post or a separate box.
  • Switching does not have to be possible between three different operating positions, but if desired, there can be more or fewer positions.

Abstract

Système de lumière de guidage mis en application à des fins de sécurité et caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend un fil électroluminescent (2) s'éclairant quand une tension électrique est appliquée à l'extrémité dudit fil (2) placé dans un élément de retenue (3) pouvant être monté dans une position appropriée, ainsi qu'une source de tension servant à alimenter le fil électroluminescent (2).

Claims (14)

  1. Système de lumière de guidage à des fins de sécurité, ledit système de lumière de guidage (1) comprenant un fil électroluminescent (2) du type qui brille quand une tension électrique est appliquée à une extrémité du fil et une source de tension pour alimenter le fil électroluminescent, dans lequel le fil est posé dans un câble (1), le câble est disposé dans un élément de palier tendeur portable (2) et l'extrémité du câble (1) est disposée à côté d'une portion de l'élément de palier tendeur (2), qui en utilisation est raccordée à une source de tension pour alimenter le fil électroluminescent.
  2. Système de lumière de guidage selon la revendication 1, dans lequel une portion d'une zone illuminée par le fil (2) est marquée à l'aide d'un moyen de marquage (6) afin de former un marquage.
  3. Système de lumière de guidage selon une quelconque des revendications 1 à 2, dans lequel la source de tension est raccordée à un signal d'alarme d'une manière telle qu'une tension soit appliquée au fil (2) quand l'alarme est désactivée.
  4. Système de lumière de guidage selon une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, dans lequel la source de tension consiste en un accumulateur.
  5. Système de lumière de guidage selon la revendication 4, dans lequel la source de tension est disposée de telle sorte qu'elle soit automatiquement activée en cas de panne de courant.
  6. Système de lumière de guidage selon une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, dans lequel la source de tension alimente un signal modulé de telle sorte que le fil émette une lumière similaire à une onde le long du fil (2).
  7. Système de lumière de guidage selon une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, dans lequel la source de tension alimente des impulsions de telle sorte que le fil (2) émette une lumière clignotante.
  8. Système de lumière de guidage selon la revendication 1, dans lequel la source de tension consiste en une batterie.
  9. Système de lumière de guidage selon la revendication 1 ou 13, dans lequel un commutateur est disposé à côté de la source de tension pour commuter entre diverses positions de fonctionnement.
  10. Système de lumière de guidage selon la revendication 1, dans lequel l'élément de palier tendeur (2) comprend un rouleau (3) pour enrouler le câble (1).
  11. Système de lumière de guidage selon la revendication 1, dans lequel l'élément de palier tendeur (2) comprend un châssis de support (4).
  12. Système de lumière de guidage selon la revendication 11, dans lequel la portion (10) du châssis de support (4) butant contre la base est constituée d'un matériau électriquement isolant.
  13. Système de lumière de guidage selon une quelconque des revendications 1 à 12, dans lequel une extrémité de câble (1) est prévue avec un moyen de crochet (14).
  14. Système de lumière de guidage selon une quelconque des revendications 1 à 13, dans lequel le câble (1) est logé dans un réceptacle translucide.
