Abstract

Bei einem Steckverbinder zur Montage auf einer Leiterplatte, mit einem Trägerkörper (10, 12), in welchem mindestens ein Oberflächenmontage-Kontaktelement (20) angeordnet ist, das an einem Ende einen Steckbereich zur Verbindung mit einem komplementären Steckverbinder und am anderen Ende einen Anschlußbereich (22) aufweist, der mit einer Leiterbahn der Leiterplatte (52) verbunden werden kann, soll ein zuverlässiges Verlöten mit der Leiterbahn der Leiterplatte unabhängig von eventuellen Toleranzen gewährleistet sein. Zu diesem Zweck ist vorgesehen, daß das Kontaktelement ein Anschlußelement (24) aufweist, das mechanisch flexibel und elektrisch leitend mit dem Anschlußbereich (22) verbunden und mit der Leiterbahn der Leiterplatte (52) verlötbar ist.
