Claims (10)

  1. Device for activating a release unit (2) for a rotating drive gear motor of a winding tube for a closure fitting or sun protection fitting, the said fitting comprising an activating cable (3), of which the first end (3A) is linked to the said release unit and the second end (3B) is linked to an operating handle (1B) of the said activating device (1), characterised in that the said activating device comprises electricity supply means (6, 7, 14-16), with a potential difference, the said cable and an electrically conductive casing (4C), an insulating sleeve (4) surrounding the said cable, the said cable and the said casing being capable of being electrically connected (5-F1) according to the position of the said release unit.
  2. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that at least one status indicator (7) is connected between the said cable (3) and the said casing (4C).
  3. Device according to claim 2, characterised in that the said indicator is luminous, in particular a bulb or an electro-luminescent diode (7).
  4. Device according to claim 2, characterised in that the said indicator is sonorous, in particular a buzzer.
  5. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that it comprises a first component (10), forming a butted surface (10A, 10B) of the said sleeve (4), and a second component (11) screwed on or in the said first component, the said first and second components each being pierced with a longitudinal channel (10G, 10H, 11D, 11E) passing along the said cable (3), the second end (3B) of the said cable being immovably attached to a button (12) supported against one side (11F) of the second component opposite the said first component.
  6. Device according to claim 5, characterised in that the screwed together parts (10D, 11B) of the said first and second components (10, 11) are electrically conductive and form one part of the electric link between the said cable (3) and the said casing (4C).
  7. Device according to claim 6, characterised in that a central channel (10D) of at least one of the screwed parts (10D, 11B) of the said components (10, 11) is covered on the inside with a layer of electrical insulation (13) between the said part and the said cable.
  8. Device according to one of claims 5 to 7, characterised in that the said first component (10) comprises an electrically conductive housing (10C) in electrical contact with the said casing (4C).
  9. Device according to one of claims 5 to 8, characterised in that the said second component (11) comprises an electrically insulating housing (11A) that supports a voltage source and at least one status indicator (7), the said voltage source (6) and the said indicator being linked in-line (14-16) between the said cable (3) and the said casing (4C).
  10. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that it comprises an electrically conductive support (8) forming a butted surface (8A, 8B,) of the said casing (4) at the said first end (3A) of the said cable (3) and capable of supporting the said release unit, also electrically conductive, according to the voltage (T) of the said cable
