Claims (10)

  1. Sliding and swinging panel system in particular for patio glazing systems, having a plurality of panels (1, 1') each able to be pivoted about an axis (4) for swinging movement and each having a planar element (2), of which panels (1, 1') at least one is in a form in which it is also displaceable by sliding as a sliding and swinging panel (1'), and having at least one guide rail (7) in which the sliding and swinging panels (1') are mounted to be displaceable by sliding on rollers (5, 5'), in which guide rail (7) there are connected, to the guide rail (7), rail-associated coupling elements (9) past which the sliding and swinging panels (1') are able to move and which can be brought into engagement with at least one panel-associated coupling piece (8) which is arranged on the axis (4) for swinging movement of each sliding and swinging panel (1'), which coupling elements (9) took the sliding and swinging panel (1') against displacement by sliding when it is pivoted, characterised in that, in cross-section transversely to the axis (4) for swinging movement, the coupling piece (8) is in the form of a circle having a cutaway (14) on one side of the planar element (2), as a result of which the extent of the coupling piece (8) from the axis (4) for swinging movement transversely to the planar element (2) in the direction of the cutaway (14) is less than on the opposite side of the axis (4) for swinging movement and than on both sides longitudinally of the planar element (2), and in that the diameter (D) of the circle formed by the coupling piece in cross-section is equal to the distance (M) between the respective centres of two immediately adjoining coupling elements along the guide rail (7).
  2. Sliding and swinging panel system according to claim 1, characterised in that the axis (4) for swinging movement is concentric with the centre of the circle formed by the coupling piece in cross-section.
  3. Sliding and swinging panel system according to daim 1 or 2, characterised in that the cutaway (14) in the coupling piece (8) is in the form, in cross-section, of a segment of a circle.
  4. Sliding and swinging panel system according to one of daims 1 to 3, characterised in that the coupling piece (8) is in the form of a disc.
  5. Sliding and swinging panel system according to one of daims 1 to 4, characterised in that the coupling piece (8) is arranged between the roller (5') and the planar element (2).
  6. Sliding and swinging panel system according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that, in cross-section longitudinally of the guide rail (7), the coupling elements (9) have cutaways (15) in the form of segments of a circle, which circle is equal in diameter to the circle formed by the coupling pieces (8).
  7. Sliding and swinging panel system according to one of daims 1 to 6, characterised in that the coupling elements (9) can be connected together along the guide rail (7) by positive and/or frictional interengagement.
  8. Sliding and swinging panel system according to one of daims 1 to 7, characterised in that the coupling elements (9) for the sliding and swinging panels (1') are arranged along only one side of the guide rail (7).
  9. Sliding and swinging panel system according to one of daims 1 to 8 having a mounting for the panels (1, 1') in two guide rails (7) at the two ends of the panels (1, 1'), characterised in that both guide rails (7) are provided with coupling elements (9) and both ends of the sliding and swinging panels (1') are provided with coupling pieces (8).
  10. Sliding and swinging panel system according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the number of coupling elements (9) for the sliding and swinging panels (1') in a guide rail is larger than the number of sliding and swinging panels (1').
