From DE 197 52 232 there is one Elevator became known in which the drive unit in the elevator shaft next to the lane of the elevator car and is arranged next to the lane of the counterweight. On equal in height and in one piece with a floor in the Elevating shaft protruding concrete base for the Drive unit leaves space for the elevator car and the counterweight, so that elevator car and Can move the counterweight past the concrete base. The Drive unit is not on the concrete base in one right angle to an adjacent wall of the Elevator shaft arranged. In the adjacent wall is an access door to a control device is provided.
A disadvantage of the known device is that by arranging the drive unit on the adjacent one Wall the free shaft cross section for the elevator car is diminished. With a square The shaft cross section remains as a usable area for the Elevator cabin just a slim rectangle left.
Hier will die Erfindung Abhilfe schaffen.
The invention seeks to remedy this. The invention,

The advantages achieved by the invention are in essential to see that the inventive Arrangement of the drive unit in the shaft cross section is space-saving.
