Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Motorstaubremseinrichtung, mit einer brennkraftmaschinen-internen Motorbremseinrichtung und einer Motorbremsklappe in einer Abgasleitung, mit einem Stellmotor für die Motorbremsklappe und zugeordnetem Leistungsteil, das seine Befehle von der Steuereinheit enthält, und mit einem den Druck in der Abgasleitung strömungsmäßig vor der Motorbremsklappe erfassenden Drucksensor.
Um eine aufgabengemäß feinfühlige Regelung der Durchlaßquerschnitte der Motorbremsklappe abhängig vom tatsächlichen Motorbremsleistungsbedarf zu ermöglichen und außerdem die Motorstaubremsvorrichtung kostengünstig herstellen und montieren zu können, wird erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, die Meßsignale des Drucksensors (9) und/oder eines Temperatursensors (10), gegebenenfalls auch Drehzahlsignale nM der Brennkraftmaschine, über die Steuereinheit (8) einer elektronischen Reglereinheit (13) zuzuführen, die den Betrieb der Steuereinheit (8) und der Brennkraftmaschine anhand eingespeicherter Kennfelder und Betriebsdaten regelt. Außerdem ist erfindungsgemäß ein Bremsvorrichtungsmodul (15) vorgesehen, der als Basiselement einen Abgasleitungsrohrabschnitt (16) aufweist, der mit endseitigen Flanschen (17, 18) in einen entsprechenden Freiraum der Abgasleitung (1) eingebaut ist, in welchem Abgasleitungsrohrabschnitt (16) die Motorbremsklappe (2) eingebaut und mit ihrer Achse (3) schwenkbar gelagert ist, und an welchem Abgasleitungsrohrabschnitt (16) außen der Stellmotor (4) für die Motorbremsklappe (2), das zugehörige Leistungsteil (7; 7', 7''), die zugehörige Steuereinheit (8) sowie der Drucksensor (9) und/oder Temperatursensor (10) angebaut sind.
