Definitions
- Document shredders are common in offices. They are used to shred files and confidential papers in such a way that reading the shredded documents is not is more or not feasible without much effort. It should mostly be prevented that confidential information in the disposal of paper waste in the hands of Third party.
- the document shredders instruct Cutting unit to which the through a feed opening Cutting material is fed. After cutting the material to be cut is the cut material in through an ejection opening spent a bin. It is general known to perform a strip cut, in which the Cuttings in the cutter in a variety of narrower Strip is cut.
- thermal transfer films which are coated with a material that on a surface to be printed and transferred by heat is fixed there. Because in the area of the worn Coating can not be repeated can, these foils become relative during the printing process moved past the surfaces to be printed. The on Rolls to and removed thermal transfer films included thus a negative of the printed. It is also known Data and other information also on tapes, cassettes and the like. These disks each point a film material on that with a magnetizable Material is coated and serves as an information carrier.
- the object of the invention is to known document shredders to further develop that they are able to coated Easy processing of foils as cut material.
- This task is based on a generic Document shredder with the characteristic features of the Claim 1 solved.
- a document shredder according to the invention has a cutting unit, that is suitable for performing a particle cut is on.
- the material to be cut is fed into the cutting unit by a Feed opening and leaves it, cut into particles, through the discharge opening.
- the discharge opening flows into a collecting container.
- the material to be cut includes also coated foils, one on the ejection opening side Suction for the particles is provided.
- FIG. 1 shows a schematic representation of a document shredder, which is also coated as a cut material Includes foils and performs for a particle cut in a schematic oblique view.
- the document shredder 11 has a cutter 12, from only the cutting rollers in the schematic representation are shown. This is via the feed opening 13 Cuttings 14 are fed to the cutting unit 12.
- the material to be cut 14 can in particular be a film web that the cutting unit is fed down from a roll 26.
- the cutter 12 are for performing the particle cut Cutting rollers 35 arranged.
- the particles 16 leave the cutting unit 12 through the Ejection opening 15. Then you get into the collecting container 17.
- the ejection opening 15 is in the present case as a collecting funnel 27 formed, which opens into a pipe section 28. By the The piece of pipe passes through the pipe section 28 into the collecting container 17th
- the collecting container 17 shown is as a bag 18, which in the support body 19 is arranged. To be a good one To ensure functioning suction, the bag is 18th releasably on the pipe section 28 by means of the clamp 29 attached, that there is no secondary air intake if possible.
- the bag 18 is like a vacuum cleaner bag trained that an air flow through the wall of the bag can take place while particles as well any cutting dust is retained in the bag.
- the airtight sealing of the bag 18, which is also can be a sack, and collecting the particles in a closed container is also an advantage if the film has a coating that does not touch shall be. Certain coated films can also be used as such films technical papers are viewed.
- the carrier body 19 has, as in a small side wall section shown in extracts, on its side walls Air passage openings 20 on.
- the air openings 20 can for example be designed as slots or holes his. If the suction is working, there will be an air flow generated in which through the supply opening 13 air into the Cutting unit 12 arrives, from there through the collecting container 17th flows and via the pipe section 28 into the interior of the bag 18th reached. Through the wall of the bag and if necessary also through the air passage openings 20 of the carrier body 19 the now particle-free air becomes Louvers 34 out.
- the air slots 34 are the flow connection for the intake air of the floor area of the Base cabinet 31 arranged blower 32.
- the blower 32 is from the accessible area of the base cabinet 31 through the the separating plate 33 having the air slots 34 is separated. Air passes out of the base cabinet through the air slots 34 sucked in and from the blower through the exhaust pipe 36 conveyed out of the base cabinet 31.
- the cut material 14 cut into particles is after the Cutting unit 12 due to the suction through the pipe section 28 transported through into the bag 18.
- the shutoff valve must be self-closing as soon as the intake of air a predetermined minimum dimension through the pipe section 28 falls below.
- the closure valve as Rubber valve to be formed in which a flap made of rubber closes the flow path in the rest position.
- Fig. 2 shows a schematic representation of an inventive Document shredder where the ejection opening is formed in two channels, the first channel being one Has suction and especially for cut goods serves coated film material and a second channel, the intended for other, especially paper, cut material is.
- the material to be cut is fed to the cutting unit 12.
- the cutting unit 12 takes place, again by means of cutting rollers, the particle cut of the material to be cut.
- From the cutting unit 12 arrive Particle 16 to the discharge opening 15.
- the discharge opening 15 is formed as a collecting funnel 27 which in the pipe section 28 flows.
- the collecting funnel 27 is on guide means 39 - such shown guide rails or a joint that a pivoting of the collecting funnel 27 allows - arranged, which allow the collecting funnel 27 into an operating position bring, which allows the particles 16, on the collection funnel 27 over from cutting unit 12 directly into the collecting container 17 to arrive, whereby the second channel 22 is formed becomes.
- the first channel 21 leads through the closure valve 30 through to that in the base cabinet 31 of the document shredder 11 attached to an outer wall connecting piece 23.
- Das Shutter valve 30 is, as shown schematically, as Flap valve is formed, in which then when through the The flaps are suctioned through the first channel 21 open in the direction of flow while the flaps are closing, when the flow no longer reaches a minimum.
- the suction hose 38 is arranged on the connecting piece 23.
- the Suction hose 38 extends the first channel 21 up to that Collection container 17 of an external suction device 24.
- Der second channel 22 also leads past the collecting judge 27 to a collection container.
- the switching valve is for example designed as a rubber flap, which then closes when an air flow through the first duct 21 submitted to the connecting piece 23.
- Switching valve 37 can be designed to close automatically, wherein the switching valve 37 is closed when the air flow in the first duct 21 is a predetermined minimum flow exceeds. Is the switching valve as in the Drawing shown, opened so the cut Particles through the pipe section 28 to the second channel 22 reach. This is the case when there is no suction he follows.
- One can also do this for the second channel Suction of the particles may be provided.
- the particles 16 reach channel 22 by simple gravitation in the collecting container 17. For those without suction Particle 16 is usually paper that the Disposal and recycling can be done. For this can the collection container 17 in a simple manner from the Base cabinet 31 can be removed or replaced.
- the collecting funnel 27 is brought into the operating position under the ejection of the cutting unit 12.
- the path to the second channel 22 is now blocked for the particles 16. They pass through the first channel 21, through the closure valve 30 through the connecting piece 23 and the suction hose 38 into the housing of the external suction device 24.
- the suction hose 38 opens into a collecting container 17.
- the collecting container 17 is in turn formed from a bag 18 which is arranged in a carrier body 19 which is provided with air passage openings 20.
- the bag 18 is releasably attached to the mouth of the suction hose 38.
- the air flow through the first channel 28 and through the suction hose 38 leads through the wall of the bag 18 and through the air passage openings 20 of the carrier body 19.
- the carrier body serves to form a support for the bag 18 so that the bag 18 does not pass through Weight of the particles 16 collected in the bag 18, mostly coated foils, for example thermal transfer foils, and the load due to the air flow tears.
- the air flow reaches the blower 32 via air slots 34 in partition plates 33, from where the air is blown out through the exhaust pipe 36.
- the two-channel design is particularly advantageous if both film material and paper material are frequently used as cut material. If the film material is to be cut, the user must activate the suction by means of the external suction device.
- a control can also be provided on the housing of the document shredder 11 itself. In particular, this can be an additional switch.
- the external suction device 24 can be a suction device arranged locally, for example directly next to the document shredder 11, as well as a central suction system connected to a plurality of document shredders 11.
- external suction device If it is a local, external suction device, so can also be in a common housing with the document shredder 11 are arranged. As local, external Suction device can also be a conventional (industrial) Vacuum cleaners are used.
- suction device it a central, external suction device, that serves a variety of document shredders, so it is advantageous to design the suction device so that a Suction hose arrangement is formed, which has valves, so that only the suction hoses have an air flow, where the document shredder is in an operating mode is to be suctioned off.
Abstract
Description
Document shredders are common in offices. They are used to shred files and confidential papers in such a way that reading the shredded documents is not is more or not feasible without much effort. It should mostly be prevented that confidential information in the disposal of paper waste in the hands of Third party. In addition, the document shredders instruct Cutting unit to which the through a feed opening Cutting material is fed. After cutting the material to be cut is the cut material in through an ejection opening spent a bin. It is general known to perform a strip cut, in which the Cuttings in the cutter in a variety of narrower Strip is cut. In addition, it is known to perform a so-called particle cut at that the material to be cut in the cutting unit is not just a number is cut by strips, but in those in the cutting unit at the same time the strips of the transverse direction were torn so that small particles are formed. The higher the required confidentiality of the documents is the more The strips into which the material to be cut is cut are narrower and the shorter the particles that are generated become.
In addition to files, i.e. paper-like data carriers, are confidential Much information is also available on coated films are upset. For example, in fax machines and in other printing units so-called thermal transfer films used, which are coated with a material that on a surface to be printed and transferred by heat is fixed there.
With such information carriers to be destroyed, in usually do a particle cut since it doesn't it is sufficient to cut the long foils into strips. On Strip cut is already due to the length of the film can reach several meters, not appropriate. On the other hand such coated films have the disadvantage that due to due to the low film thickness, the particles are extremely light are. On the other hand, there is a tendency for the particles themselves electrostatic during cutting and tearing charge because the film material is usually a Is plastic. This results when using conventional ones Document shredder that when cutting such Information carriers do not reliably remove the cut Particle occurs. Rather, there is a tendency for the Ejection opening of the cutting unit is blocked or that Particles the cutter because of their electrostatic Charging and their light weight from the feed opening of the cutting unit.
The object of the invention is to known document shredders to further develop that they are able to coated Easy processing of foils as cut material.

A document shredder according to the invention has a cutting unit, that is suitable for performing a particle cut is on. Die Fig. 1 zeigt in schematischer Darstellung einen Dokumentenvernichter, der als schneidbares Schneidgut auch beschichtete Folien umfaßt und für einen Partikelschnitt durchführt in schematischer Schrägbilddarstellung.1 shows a schematic representation of a document shredder, which is also coated as a cut material Includes foils and performs for a particle cut in a schematic oblique view.
The
Im Schneidwerk 12 sind zur Durchführung des Partikelschnitts
Schneidwalzen 35 angeordnet. Es sind vielfältige Ausführungsformen
von Schneidwalzen zur Durchführung eines Partikelschnitts
bekannt.
In the
Die Partikel 16 verlassen das Schneidwerk 12 durch die
Auswurföffnung 15. Sie gelangen dann in den Auffangbehälter
17.The
The
The
auszugsweise dargestellt, an seinen Seitenwänden
The
The
Fig. 2 shows a schematic representation of an inventive Document shredder where the ejection opening is formed in two channels, the first channel being one Has suction and especially for cut goods serves coated film material and a second channel, the intended for other, especially paper, cut material is.
The material to be cut is fed to the cutting
According to an alternative, not shown in the drawing
Embodiment can also the two-channel by a
the switching
beschichtete Folien beispielsweise Thermo-Transfer-Folien,
