Definitions
- the invention relates to an electroacoustic transducer with a magnet system and a cover.
- Electroacoustic transducers especially those that work on the dynamic principle, such as Loudspeakers and / or microphones and here in turn loudspeakers for mobile telephones and the like have a Membrane on, which is connected to a voice coil, which in turn in the annular gap of a magnet immersed.
- the transducer works then as a loudspeaker or when sound waves hit the membrane it becomes with it connected coil moves in the magnetic gap, whereby a current is induced in the coil, which is derived the converter works as a microphone.
- the membrane consists of extremely thin plastic membranes (often only a few ⁇ m thick) with less Dimensions.
- electro-acoustic Transducer with a front cover, which in turn has openings to the acoustic Establish connection between membrane and environment.
- the invention aims to provide this solution and proposes that another cover it is provided that both in the cover remote from the transducer and the cover close to the transducer, or between them, openings are provided which are offset from one another from cover to cover, and that any path of particles entering the transducer between the transducer remote cover and the Membrane has a section that leads from higher to lower magnetic potential.
- An advantageous embodiment is characterized in that the areas of the cover close to the transducer, the opposite the openings of the cover remote from the transducer, a smaller distance from the transducer have than the areas surrounding them, in which the openings of the cover close to the transducer are arranged.
- the covers can be designed as before, although in many Use cases as the already common cover, which is often part of the device housing remote cover can continue to be used, which can also be retrofitted to a variety of Enables and facilitates converters.
- a suitably adapted transducer Cover for example a kind of deep-drawn film
- a plastic cover for example, by Injection molding can be made or a component made of non-magnetic or ferromagnetic metal, which can be obtained for example by stamping, between the To provide transducer membrane and the previous cover, or the like by an insert ring. in the is easily possible in most cases.
- the two-part embodiment has the advantage that by removing the cover close to the transducer, this cover can be brought out of the magnetic field area and then the ferromagnetic particles can be removed simply by turning the cover over can.
- the particles can be, for example, by a magnetic rod suitable field strength, which through the opening (s) into the interior between the near transducer and the cover removed from the transducer is removed with the magnetic rod.
- such a converter essentially consists of a membrane 1, which has a coil 2 carries, which protrudes into the annular gap of a magnet system 3, which consists of a permanent magnet and corresponding yoke parts.
- a cover 4 is usually provided, which can also be part of the device housing.
- This converter-free cover 4 has openings 5 which are arranged along a circle and in turn have a circular shape. It is also possible instead of Openings 5 provide an annular gap opening.
- a so-called converter-near cover 6 which is closer to the converter than the usual one, cover remote from the converter 4.
- the central Area of the cover 4 remote from the transducer is carried by projections 10 of the cover 6 close to the transducer.
- the cover 6 close to the transducer has the shape of an annular trough, wherein in particular a likewise annular region 7, which is close to the annular gap of the magnet system is located, the converter is closer than all other areas of the cover 6 near the converter.
- the cover 6 close to the transducer has a central opening 8 which communicates with the cavity between the cover 4 remote from the converter and cover 6 close to the converter via a projection 10 interrupted annular gap 9 is connected, since the inner edge of the cover 6 close to the transducer Transducer away and thus towards the transducer remote cover 4, with a predetermined distance is observed, which defines the height of the annular gap 9.
- the inner edge on the projections 10 which contact the transducer-remote cover 4 and possibly connected to it, for example glued.
- the transducer is a microphone
- the sound energy passes through the openings 5 Cavity between the cover 4 and 6 remote from the transducer and the transducer near the transducer, the annular gap 9 between these two covers and finally the central opening 8 in the area of the membrane 1 of the electroacoustic transducer (in the case of a loudspeaker, the sound energy is reversed Ways from the membrane 1 out of the housing).
- Ferromagnetic particles entering through the openings 5 are attracted to and by the magnet system 3 thus reach the area 7 closest to the magnet of the cover 6 close to the transducer and are now in the Magnetic field trapped, unable to oppose the magnetic attraction to the annular gap 9 and so central opening 8 and to reach the transducer membrane 1.
- the invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiment shown and described, but can be modified many times. So it is possible, instead of the (interrupted) annular gap 9, one or more Provide openings that either between the transducer-near cover 6 and the transducer distant Cover 4 can be left free or entirely in the collar-like inner extension of the near the converter Membrane 6 are arranged. It is also not necessary to use a single continuous magnet To create area 7, it is also possible to provide subdivisions here and this area in individual Disassemble chambers or partial tubs.
- the wall-like cover 6 is between the housing and the actual converter clamped, but this can also be solved differently. It is so in particular advantageous to form the cover near the transducer as part of the transducer and the transducer remote as part of the Housing, since the converter is then protected during transport, storage and installation and the housing is not has a large opening that reduces its mechanical stability.
- cover close to the transducer or “remote transducer” Cover “does not have to refer to separate components, but that, as with the example with the Annular gap opening has been set out, the components can be designed so that their individual Sections or areas Parts of the cover close to the transducer and other of its sections or areas Parts of the cover remote from the converter are.
