Staubsauger, mit in dessen Gehäuse angeordnetem Ein/Ausschalter und Potentiometer, welche Bauteile mittels an der Außenseite des Gehäuses vorgesehener Betätigungseinrichtung (1) betätigbar sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß dem Ein/Ausschalter (10) und dem Potentiometer (11) ein gemeinsamer Betätigungsknopf (1 ) zugeordnet ist, der axial- und drehbeweglich am Gehäuse (4) des Staubsaugers angeordnet ist, wobei durch die axialbewegliche Verstellung des Betätigungsknopfes (1) eine Betätigung des Ein/Ausschalters und durch die drehbewegliche Verstellung des Betätigungsknopfes (1 ) eine Betätigung des als Drehpotentiometer (11 ) ausgebildeten Potentiometers erfolgt.1.
