Definitions
- the invention relates to a pipe cleaning nozzle for pressure jet cleaning of pipelines, especially the pipelines of Airplane toilet systems.
- DE 197 03 317 A1 describes a pipe cleaning nozzle with a pressure of about 400 bar up to 420 bar. From the outward facing Nozzle orifices occur with high kinetic pressure jets Energy from the deposits adhering to the pipe wall destroy and wash away.
- the pipe cleaning nozzle has one Nozzle head, which is a few millimeters smaller than the free one Pipe cross section, so that the pressure jets with high energy the deposits hit.
- the pressure jets primarily are aligned radially, have a backward axial component that drives the nozzle head in the Pipeline causes. In this way the nozzle head moves through the pipeline to be cleaned, taking the connected High pressure hose for feeding the cleaning liquid pulls along.
- the toilet pipes In airplanes or ships and trains, the toilet pipes, connected to a vacuum source, diameter in the order of 50 mm. These toilet pipes can have a length of 70 to 100 m and pass through it Small radius bends and curvatures. Furthermore subject to such pipes sectionally horizontal and vertical pipe guides. The cleaning work in such pipes is extremely difficult.
- the invention has for its object a pipe cleaning nozzle to create tighter ones especially for cleaning and with tight curvatures of vacuum toilet pipes is suitable.
- the pipe cleaning nozzle according to the invention has a concave Back wall on, in the recessed part of the connecting piece for the high pressure hose. Therefore, the Nozzle head an extremely short overall length. Part of the length of the The connection piece is, as it were, sunk into the nozzle head arranged so that the total length of the nozzle head including Connection piece can be kept short. Because the connector and the nozzle head form a rigid unit the length of this unit has the smallest radius of curvature of the pipe through which the unit will still be sent can.
- the outside diameter of the nozzle head is about twice that large as the outer diameter of the connecting piece, so that on the one hand, the nozzle openings come close to the pipe wall, on the other hand, however, the connecting piece as possible has a small diameter.
- the front wall and / or the rear wall are preferably as Ball cups formed.
- the invention further relates to a method for cleaning pipes using a pipe cleaning nozzle that has a connector and has nozzle openings, wherein the nozzle openings radially outwards with one in the direction of the connecting piece pointing axial component are directed.
- the peculiarity This method consists in that to the pipe part that facing away from the connecting piece, a suction source for suction removed deposits is connected. This means, that the cleaning jets from the nozzle head with backward facing Component leak while the suction source is after aspirated at the front.
- “front” is the direction of movement of the pipe cleaning nozzle referred to during the advance, the Propulsion through the recoil effect of the emerging cleaning jets is produced.
- the mixture of cleaning liquid and deposits are forced in the opposite direction to the direction migrate from releasing.
- a pipe 10 to be cleaned is shown in which it is a vacuum toilet pipe of an aircraft.
- the tube diameter is about 50 mm and the wall thickness is about 0.4 mm.
- the tube is made of titanium.
- a pipe cleaning nozzle 11 is sent through the pipe 10.
- This has a nozzle head 12 in the form of a hollow body, from which a connecting piece 13 protrudes axially.
- a screw sleeve 14 is screwed on, the component a hose coupling, which is at the end of a flexible high pressure hose 15 is connected.
- the high pressure hose 15 has an inner diameter of 6 mm and one Wall thickness of 4 mm. It is a rubber hose with double steel insert.
- the nozzle head 12 has a convex, partially spherical shape Front wall 16 and a concave, also part-spherical Rear wall 17 on. Front wall 16 and rear wall 17 are on Outer edge 18 welded together. To the center of the back wall 17 the connecting piece 13 is welded. Through the connector 13 leads through the liquid channel 19, the leads into the interior 20 of the nozzle head 12.
- the nozzle head 12 thus has a crescent-shaped longitudinal section.
- Nozzle openings 21 At the peripheral edge of the front wall 16 are tubular Nozzle openings 21, which are directed radially outwards, however have an axial, rearward-facing component.
- the Nozzle openings 21 run at an angle of 20 to 25 ° to the radial plane of the nozzle head. Each of them enters High-pressure jet 22, which is directed against the tube wall 10 and deposits adhering there are destroyed and rinsed free.
- FIG. 2 shows, in the deposit 23 by the high pressure jets 22 produces longitudinal furrows 24 which are the residues of deposits Separate 25 from each other.
- the residue 25 are washed under FIG. 1 and finally also dissolve from the pipe wall.
- the high pressure hose 15 is connected to a high pressure pump (not shown) which has a delivery pressure of 400 to 420 bar and a delivery rate of 64 l / min. delivers.
- the nozzle head 12 is made of stainless steel. Nozzle heads of two sizes are available for the pipeline 11 with the dimensions described, namely with an outside diameter of 33 mm and an outside diameter of 43 mm, each with a wall thickness of 2.3 mm. Depending on the thickness of the deposit 23, either one or the other nozzle head is used.
- the nozzle head 12 has 8 to 24 circumferentially distributed nozzle openings, the total cross section of which is 6 to 7 mm 2 .
- the overall length of the nozzle head 12 and the connecting piece 13 existing pipe cleaning nozzle is a maximum of about as large as the outside diameter of the nozzle head.
- Fig. 3 shows the pipe cleaning nozzle described above during the cleaning process with vacuum suction.
- a suction source is connected to that pipe part 10a which faces away from the connecting piece 13, so that the suction takes place in the direction of arrow 30.
- the high pressure jets 22 are directed axially backwards (to the right) and wash the deposits 23.
- the mixture of cleaning water and deposits is forced by the suction to flow out in the opposite direction, namely to the front, to a collecting tank. In this way it is also prevented that the contaminants have to flow through the already cleaned pipe section.
- the vacuum pump delivers a negative pressure of 0.1 to 0.3 bar with a delivery rate of 15 m 3 / h.
