Definitions
- a belt dishwasher and a method of the aforementioned Art are known from EP-A-282 214.
- pre-cleaned dishes pass through the spray zone in which concentrated Detergent solution is fogged up. After a certain This cleaning solution will take effect in the following Washed wash tank.
- the invention has for its object a belt dishwasher as well as a method of the type mentioned at the beginning create that improved cleaning performance and / or have reduced cleaning agent and / or water consumption.
- the spray device one or more Spray nozzles with directional, in their spray direction during of the spray operation has variable spray jets.
- the cleaner solution in the spray zone as at least one directed spray is sprayed on during spraying changes its direction continuously.
- a belt dishwasher is a machine for cleaning dishes or the like in which the objects on a conveyor belt or a comparable one Transport device can be arranged and different treatment areas or zones of the machine.
- the conveyor belt conveys the objects continuously through the machine.
- this includes Also includes a so-called box transport machine, in which the dishes are discontinuously one after the other individual treatment zones.
- wash tank denotes an area of the machine in which the objects with a large amount of liquid rinsed, in particular splashed.
- a wash tank one below the conveyor level of the dishes arranged collection container in which there are so-called Wash liquor (also called abbreviated fleet).
- Wash liquor also called abbreviated fleet.
- This wash liquor is made with the help of a pump and pressure side spray nozzles connected to the pump in one area sprayed onto the dishes above the collecting container and runs from the dishes back into the container.
- the fleet is pumped inside the wash tank constantly circulated.
- Wash tank fleet in an amount of about 500 to 1500 l / min (often about 1000 l / min) circulated and onto the dishes sprayed.
- wash tank is used within the To understand the invention broadly and includes such areas the machine in which a circulation of fleet to carry out a first rough pre-cleaning (a so-called Pre-clearing) or rinsing with clear or only slight contaminated water is carried out.
- the machine according to the invention comprises a spray zone with a Spraying device for spraying cleaning solution.
- directional spray jets are used. Directed is a spray when it comes out after exiting the spray opening of the spray nozzle not or only slightly is divided, especially not into fine droplets, is dusted with a fog or the like.
- a targeted one Spray jet changes preferably after exiting the Spray opening its cross-sectional area not or only insignificantly, in particular, it does not expand into one wide spray cone.
- the directed spray jet in the Framework of the invention in the exercise of a mechanical cleaning effect on the surface of the tableware covered by the spray for rinsing off used detergent and loosened dirt.
- the amount of detergent solution sprayed by the spray device is usually compared to the circulated fleet amount in the wash tanks is low and is preferably about 0.2 to 10 l / min, more preferably 0.4 to 5 l / min, particularly preferably about 0.5 to 1 l / min.
- cleaning solution actually refers to the solution brought into contact with the dishes, as a rule is obtained by diluting a cleaner with water.
- the Detergent solution can be prepared in a ready to use in one Storage containers are present and without further dilution be brought into contact with the dishes, as a rule however, the solution from a cleaner (usually a liquid concentrate) by dilution with water.
- the spraying device preferably sprays concentrated cleaning solution with a content of more than 0.5 wt .-% cleaning-active Components, this concentration is preferably in the range of about 1 to 10%.
- the spray jet (s) is or are in theirs Spray direction changeable during spraying.
- pre-cleaning refers to the main cleaning upstream process, which is not necessarily the first Process step must be.
- a first pre-cleaning step (Pre-rinse) to remove coarse dirt be provided.
- Pre-rinsing or clearing advantageously takes place only with water without the addition of Detergents instead.
- Wash liquor from subsequent cleaning cycles can be used.
- main cleaning refers to pre-cleaning subsequent process in which the objects (the Dishes) showered and / or washed around by a washing solution become.
- Detergents can be added to the wash liquor, the usual ingredients such as surfactants, enzymes, disinfectants and usual additives and auxiliaries such as solubilizers, Defoamers, fragrances, dyes, thickeners, Preservatives and hardness dispersants included.
- Rinsing includes all of the Main cleaning subsequent cleaning and / or rinsing steps. In the context of the invention, it is conceivable that Main cleaning is another main cleaning step with a other cleaner connects. This second main cleaning the usual rinsing and / or rinsing then follows. As a rule, however, the main cleaning is done immediately Rinse aid (usually with a normal rinse aid), if necessary also a (further) rinse with water follow. All these Variants are included in the term "rinsing”.
- At least one directed paint Spray jet with continuously changing direction the object in the spray zone.
- the essence of the invention lies in the combination of the chemical Cleaning effect of a preferably concentrated sprayed cleaner solution with the mechanical effect of Impact of a directed spray on the surface of the dishes. While in EP-A-0 282 214 the cleaning solution was fogged is and it is expressly emphasized that in the spray zone only a chemical effect of the solution the dishes take place and any mechanical cleaning effect The present invention has to be avoided recognized that there is an improved cleaning effect and / or a reduced cleaning agent consumption results from a compared to the prior art mentioned, hard, directional Spray on the cleaning solution. When executing the The method according to the invention hits a directed cleaner jet first on a certain surface section of the Dishes and then moves on.
- the applied cleaning solution can for a preferably relatively short Period of time of preferably less than one second chemically act before the next directed cleaner jet painted this surface section again, loosened Residual dirt and used cleaning solution mechanically rinsed off and in this way fresh cleaning solution with a "fresh" dirt surface in contact. You solve in this way the dirt in layers, so to speak from.
- spray jets enable at least one essential part of the surface of the dishes continuously coat with hard spray jets and the desired one exert mechanical effect without reducing the consumption of detergent increased compared to the prior art mentioned.
- the Amount of detergent solution sprayed in the spray zone preferably about 0.5 up to 1 l / min. This corresponds approximately to the consumption of cleaning solution the state of the art. However, it results from the mentioned layer-by-layer removal of dirt improved Cleaning effect.
- the invention preferably uses so-called compact ones Spray jets, the cross-sectional area of which exits the nozzle openings not or only slightly changed. It then hits a so-called compact jet of liquid the dish surface to the desired mechanical To achieve effect. A division of the spray jet after its exit from the spray nozzle or tearing into individual At most, droplets take place on a small scale.
- the required variation of the spray direction is according to the invention preferably accomplished by spray nozzles, the one Have nozzle base connected to the fluid supply is.
- On the nozzle base is a rotatable relative to this Nozzle body arranged, the at least one, preferably has two or more nozzle openings, the Spray direction by rotating the nozzle body relative to Nozzle base is changeable.
- a twisting of the nozzle body causes the spray jet to be an area of the spray zone and sweeps the dishes arranged therein in a circle. If such a circle at the level of the top edge of the dishes conveyed through the spray zone have a diameter which is approximately the conveyor width of the dishwasher, i.e. the width of the conveyed through the spray zone "Crockery front" corresponds to, due to the interaction this rotational movement of the spray jet and the linear one Conveying dishes under this rotating spray through essentially the entire dish surface several times brushed with a jet of cleaner.
- the rotatable nozzle body is set in a rotational movement during the operation of the spray device.
- a speed of 1 to 10 s -1 is preferred, preferably 2 to 6 s -1 , particularly preferably approximately 3 to 5 s -1 .
- each spray jet sweeps over each circumferential portion of its circular spray pattern at the appropriate frequency.
- the rotatable nozzle body has two spray openings, the frequency of sweeping with spray jets of a peripheral section is doubled compared to the speed.
- the angle which these spray jets form with the axis of rotation of the rotatable nozzle body can be identical, so that each spray jet in the course of the rotational movement covers the lateral surface of the same cone or truncated cone or cylinder (with spray jets directed parallel to the axis of rotation).
- different nozzle openings allow spray jets to emerge at different angles to the axis of rotation, in order to achieve a full-area coverage of the coated circular area.
- the rotatable nozzle body can be from an external drive device such as an electric motor or one of the supplied Liquid flow powered water turbine powered become. In the context of the invention, however, it is preferred that the nozzle body by the impulse, i.e. the recoil escaping spray jets, set in a rotary motion becomes.
- the nozzle body by the impulse i.e. the recoil escaping spray jets, set in a rotary motion becomes.
- at least one emerging spray jet a directional component directed tangentially to the axis of rotation have to rotate the rotatable nozzle body with the desired one Torque to generate the rotational movement act upon.
- the nozzle body can have two on its outer circumference (related to the axis of rotation) diametrically to each other have opposite nozzle openings, the spray has a component tangential to the direction of rotation.
- the spray jet has a component tangential to the axis of rotation then when its axis and the axis of rotation or their imaginary Do not cut extensions. In this embodiment becomes part of the momentum of the emerging spray jets implemented in the desired rotational movement of the nozzle body.
- a conveyor belt 2 runs through a stainless steel housing 1 the objects to be cleaned (dishes or the like) to be ordered.
- the conveyor belt can, as in the state known in the art, suitable holding devices for the objects exhibit.
- the belt dishwasher has six zones on, this is the pre-clearing in the direction of the dishes (Removal of coarse dirt), the first wash tank (Pre-cleaning), the spray zone, the second wash tank, one Rinse zone and a drying zone. These zones are in the Drawing marked accordingly.
- At 3 indicated flexible Curtains can be used to separate individual zones from each other are provided.
- the feeding of the fresh water supply the dishwasher is through line 4 to the Rinse nozzles 5.
- this is supplied via line 4 Water in a not shown in the drawing Heating heated to a temperature of 80 to 85 ° C.
- the running water is collected in a collecting container 6 and fed to the second rinse nozzle set 8 by means of the pump 7.
- the rinse water used flows in counterflow Direction of the dishes over at 9, 10 and 11 indicated Baffles in the collection container 12, 13 and 14 of the second and first wash tanks and the pre-clearing tank. From the pre-clearing tank 14 is the pre-clearing water used by means of Overflow 15 discharged into the sewage system and possibly one refurbished.
- the first and the second wash tank will be in the associated collection containers 12, 13 or 14 fleets located using powerful Pumps 16, 17, 18 and nozzle sets 19, 20, 21 circulated and in hard rays on that in the respective tank injected dishes.
- the performance of each pump 16, 17 and 18 and thus the amount of water circulated in each Tank is about 1000 l / min.
- a spray device 22 is arranged in the spray zone So-called application solution (aqueous cleaning solution with a Content of 0.5 to 10% by weight of active cleaning ingredients) sprayed in an amount of about 0.5 l / min.
- application solution aqueous cleaning solution with a Content of 0.5 to 10% by weight of active cleaning ingredients
- the spray device has spray nozzles 23 and 24 arranged above and below the dishes passing through the spray zone.
- Each of these spray nozzles has a nozzle base 25 and a nozzle body 26 which can be rotated relative to this base, and two nozzle openings 27 are arranged on each nozzle body 26, which allow a directed, hard spray jet to emerge obliquely downwards.
- the spray jets have a clear component in the tangential direction, so when the nozzles are in operation, the nozzle bodies 26 are set into a rotary movement by the pulse of the emerging spray jets.
- a common feed pressure of the nozzles with application solution is about 2 bar.
- the escaping spray jets have a clear mechanical effect at this feed pressure; when they hit the surface of the dishes, they rinse off the used cleaning solution and loosened dirt residues mechanically.
- the speed of rotation of the nozzle body 27 is approximately 3 to 5 s -1 .
- the dishes When the machine is operating, the dishes first run through the Pre-clearing in which it comes from the nozzles 21 with liquor from the Collection container 14 is sprayed. This leaves coarse food scraps away.
- a first cleaning takes place in the subsequent first wash tank with circulated liquor from the collecting tank 13 instead of.
- the pre-cleaned and pre-cleaned dishes then enter the spray zone.
- the speed of the conveyor belt 2 is set so that the passage time of the dishes through the spray zone is about 20 s in total.
- the spray device 22 continuously sprays the so-called application solution.
- the described rotary movement of the nozzle body 27 leads to a type of application of the application solution, which can perhaps best be described as hard pulsation or intermittent application. With a rotational speed of the nozzle body 27 of 5 s -1 and two nozzle openings 27 per nozzle body 26, this leads to the fact that each circumferential section of the circle covered by the spray jets is sprayed with application solution approximately 10 times per second.
- the dishes then enter the second wash tank, in the conventional way a cleaning by means of circulated Fleet from the container 12 is carried out. Remaining detergent and dirt residues are rinsed off.
- This washed-off cleaner from the spray zone can be sufficient to get the desired detergent concentration in the fleet of this wash tank.
- device cleaner in a desired concentration be dosed. It can be the same Act cleaner as it from the first spray 22nd is sprayed, alternatively you can use another cleaner Use the one that is particularly good for removing any remaining Residual dirt is suitable.
- the finally cleaned dishes then go through the Rinsing and the drying zone.
