Gerade in Bereichen, in denen auf besondere Hygieneanforderungen zu achten ist, bereitet die Handhabung dieser Behälter Schwierigkeiten. Zum Öffnen dieser bekannten Behälter benötigt der Benutzer beide Hände, so daß er zur Entnahme der gewünschten Menge den Behälterdeckel ablegen muß. Die Entnahme erfolgt dann mit speziellen Hilfsmitteln oder mit den Fingern. Eine derartige Handhabung birgt die Gefahr in sich, daß die im Behälter aufbewahrte Masse verunreinigt wird. Das Versorgungselement ist durch einen Druckzylinder und durch einen in diesem Druckzylinder laufenden Pumpkolben gebildet. Bei der gezeigten Ausführungsform ist der Pumpkolben 36 mit einer Durchgangsbohrung 37 versehen, die im Griffabschnitt des Pumpkolbens mündet. Dadurch wird wiederum eine Art Daumenventil bereitgestellt, welches beim Pumpvorgang durch den Daumen des Benutzers verschlossen werden kann. Will der Benutzer den Pumpkolben 36 lediglich zur besseren Aufbewahrung in den Druckzylinder 35 einschieben, ohne Druck im Druckabschnitt 12 aufzubauen, so bleibt die Durchgangsbohrung 37 bei der Kolbenbewegung geöffnet.   1. A container for storing paste-like or fluid masses and the dosed dispensing thereof, comprising:
    - a container body comprising parallel inner walls;

    - a compressed air supply opening, which discharges in the compressed air section (12) and via which compressed air can be blown by a supply element (35, 36), which is integrated into the container at the lower end thereof;
    - a container lid; and
    - a dispensing opening in the storage section, from which the mass escapes, controlled via the quantity of supplied compressed air;
    wherein the supply element (35, 36) is formed by means of a pressure cylinder (35) and by means of a pump piston (36), which is arranged displaceably in the pressure cylinder (35), wherein the air contained in the pressure cylinder (35) can be pressed through the compressed air supply by means of the pump piston (36), characterized in that the axis of the pressure cylinder (35), which is integrated in the container, runs at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the container, and that the compressed air supply discharges into the compressed air supply at the end of the pressure cylinder (35).
  2. The container according to claim 1, characterized in that it has an oval or polygonal inner cross section.
