Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé pour la fabrication en continu d'une bande de tension inférieure permettant la diffusion, mais sinon étanche à l'eau, se présentant sous la forme d'un composite stratifié constitué d'au moins un non-tissé synthétique hydrophobe, obtenu par fusion-soufflage, et d'une couche de renforcement. Les deux couches passent, sous forme de bande, dans un dispositif de couchage, s'y unissent en fondant sous l'action de la pression et de la température, et le non-tissé hydrophobe, par suite de la formation d'une pellicule laissée par les pores résiduels, devient étanche à l'eau mais perméable à la vapeur. Dans le but de perfectionner le produit, les deux couches (19) s'unissent en fondant dans le dispositif de couchage dans une fente (5) entre un cylindre rotatif, chauffé par du liquide, et une bande (2) associée s'enroulant partiellement sur ce dernier.
