Abstract
L'invention concerne une coquille de coussinet (1) en matière plastique à surface à faible frottement pour joint à rotule, comprenant une sphère d'articulation (12) logée dans une cavité sphérique (7) d'un corps (6) de joint à rotule, ainsi qu'un manchon en élastomère (2) prévu entre le corps (6) et un pivot à rotule (11) muni de la sphère d'articulation (12) et a pour but de perfectionner ladite coquille en vue de réduire les frais de fabrication d'un tel joint à rotule. Ce but est atteint grâce au fait que le manchon (2) est formé de manière rigide et étanche sur ladite coquille de coussinet (1).
