Definitions
- the invention relates to a decorated handle in the preamble of claim 1 explained Art.
- Such a decorated handle is known from DE 36 22 596 C2.
- the familiar handle was injection molded from two different plastics, the first Plastic is formed into a core, on which raised decor bodies protrude on both sides. The space between the decor bodies is then covered with a second one Pour over the covering material so that the decor bodies appear on the handle surfaces and preferably protrude. Because the topping plastic does not match the decor bodies may be melted, otherwise the contours of the decor will blur would be very bad. This can result in the interfaces Open micro-gaps between the two plastics that are difficult to clean. Cleaning is made even more difficult if the decorative body, as in the known Preferred handle, protrude over the covering material.
- the known handle must continue the core absorb all of the mechanical stress in use because that Base material has no force-transmitting connection.
- the core is through that described type of decor design weakened in its cross section. Thereby it can be especially in mechanically stressed equipment, such as Whisks or knives can wear out prematurely.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of a mechanically stable, inexpensive and easy to clean, decorated handle.
- the handle according to the invention By designing the handle according to the invention from a base material that is transparent or translucent, the decor can be embedded in the base material that the handle surfaces exposed to use are made of the basic material are formed. As a result, the problems of the prior art occur with the interfaces between two different materials opening on the handle surface no longer on.
- the handles of the invention can be easily and hygienically can also be cleaned in a dishwasher. Still there are a lot of attractive decor options with the simplest production, so that the Handles can be offered inexpensively. Through the closed training the grip surfaces are still a much better power transmission possible.
- the decors can preferably as two-dimensional decorative surfaces be formed, which facilitates embedding and the force-absorbing cross section further increased.
- the decors can be placed on a surface support be provided according to claims 3 to 7, which facilitates their embedding.
- the base material is preferably a clear or transparent colored one Plastic, but it can also be milky or iridescent be used.
- claims 9 to 11 ensures in a simple manner that that the decor is not in contact with a handle surface exposed to use.
- Claim 15 describes a particularly inexpensive, easy to clean Handle.
- the handles according to the invention are suitable for all household objects or household tools, including cutlery and especially knife handles with their higher mechanical stress.
- the curved grip surfaces described in claim 17 act as internal reflection surfaces for the decor, so by the effect of a different angle of refraction gives the impression that the decor is all over Cross section of the handle extends, although the decor is actually not on the surface the grip surfaces emerges.
- Fig. 1 shows a only schematically shown knife 1 with a tool part in Form of a blade 2, using the usual hinge or a similar fastening part 2a is fastened in a handle 3 designed according to the invention.
- the handle 3 has the oval cross section shown in particular in FIG. 2 and exists from a base material 4, in the illustrated embodiment, a clear, colorless injection moldable plastic.
- a decor 5 is embedded in the base material 4.
- the decor 5 a two-dimensional, flat decor, for example is present as a printed pattern on one side of a surface carrier 5a, 5b, with the surface supports back to back so that the print pattern faces out point, are embedded in the base material 4.
- Foils or Like. Are used, for example decorative films with a thickness of about. 0.1 up to about 1 mm.
- the decor 5 is embedded in the base material 4 in such a way that at least the handle surfaces 4a of handle 3, i.e. those areas that are used as intended Use the knife 1 in hand, completely from the base material 4 consist. However, the decor 5 is expediently incorporated into the base material 4 in this way embedded that there is no externally visible place from the base material 4 protrudes.
- the decor 5 has both the handle surface 4a and possibly other Surfaces preferably a distance between about 0.2 to about 1.5 mm.
- the handle 3 is made by being more suitable in a plastic injection mold Mold first produces a first injection molded part from the base material 4, the is expediently designed as a handle half-shell. Then the decorative films on the later flat handle facing the handle 5a and 5b arranged and centered in the center, so that they nowhere over the edge of the Protect the handle half-shell. Then the second handle half-shell becomes the second Handle half-shell molded from base material 4 so that it fits with the first handle half-shell including the decor 5 connects to the one-piece handle 3.
- the tang 2a of the knife blade 2 is connected to the handle 3 by welding, as was previously the case with plastic handles. If the Angel 2a is not for you special decorative purpose visible through the clear base material 4 3, a projection 3a is formed on the handle 3, which is the hinge 2a records. This approach 3a is done by attaching the blade 2 through a separately made cap 6 made of an opaque material, for example colored plastic or metal covered.
- the handle designed according to the invention can be used for all household appliances are used, but is particularly suitable for all types of cutlery.
- the handles according to the invention are surprising stable, so that they are also suitable for the mechanically stressed knives own. But also mixing spoons, whisks or ladles can be provided with it his.
- the decor does not necessarily have to be strictly two-dimensional, but rather can for example also be a film with certain light refraction elevations, which provides special effects when moving the handle.
- the decor do not extend over the entire handle, but can only in parts be provided. Also printing a decor directly on part of a handle during manufacture, e.g. on the first handle half-shell is possible.
- the handle for example for more complicated handle shapes, can also consist of more than two parts can be made.
- Handle parts are molded together; they can also be made separately and then welded or glued together with the decoration in between become.
- the Handle parts are molded together; they can also be made separately and then welded or glued together with the decoration in between become.

Abstract
Description
des Anspruchs 1 erläuterten Art.The invention relates to a decorated handle in the preamble
of
Such a decorated handle is known from DE 36 22 596 C2. The familiar handle was injection molded from two different plastics, the first Plastic is formed into a core, on which raised decor bodies protrude on both sides. The known handle must continue the core absorb all of the mechanical stress in use because that Base material has no force-transmitting connection. The core, however, is through that described type of decor design weakened in its cross section. Thereby it can be especially in mechanically stressed equipment, such as Whisks or knives can wear out prematurely.
The invention is therefore based on the object of a mechanically stable, inexpensive and easy to clean, decorated handle.
The object is solved by the features of
By designing the handle according to the invention from a base material that is transparent or translucent, the decor can be embedded in the base material that the handle surfaces exposed to use are made of the basic material are formed. As a result, the problems of the prior art occur with the interfaces between two different materials opening on the handle surface no longer on. The handles of the invention can be easily and hygienically can also be cleaned in a dishwasher. Still there are a lot of attractive decor options with the simplest production, so that the Handles can be offered inexpensively. Through the closed training the grip surfaces are still a much better power transmission possible.
According to
Due to the design according to the invention, the decors can be placed on a surface support
be provided according to
The base material is preferably a clear or transparent colored one Plastic, but it can also be milky or iridescent be used.
The configuration of claims 9 to 11 ensures in a simple manner that that the decor is not in contact with a handle surface exposed to use.
The attachment of the tool part described in claims 12 to 14 Handle is particularly durable in use and designed to be attractive the handle further increased and the attachment of the decor does not interfere.
Claim 15 describes a particularly inexpensive, easy to clean Handle.
The handles according to the invention are suitable for all household objects or household tools, including cutlery and especially knife handles with their higher mechanical stress.
The curved grip surfaces described in claim 17 act as internal reflection surfaces for the decor, so by the effect of a different angle of refraction gives the impression that the decor is all over Cross section of the handle extends, although the decor is actually not on the surface the grip surfaces emerges.

bis etwa 1 mm.Fig. 1 shows a only schematically shown
Due to the transverse oval cross section of the
The
The
The handle designed according to the invention can be used for all household appliances are used, but is particularly suitable for all types of cutlery.
Due to the fact that the decor as a foreign body only an insignificant area of the handle cross-section, the handles according to the invention are surprising stable, so that they are also suitable for the mechanically stressed knives own. But also mixing spoons, whisks or ladles can be provided with it his. The decor does not necessarily have to be strictly two-dimensional, but rather can for example also be a film with certain light refraction elevations, which provides special effects when moving the handle. Finally, the decor do not extend over the entire handle, but can only in parts be provided. Also printing a decor directly on part of a handle during manufacture, e.g. on the first handle half-shell is possible. Finally the handle, for example for more complicated handle shapes, can also consist of more than two parts can be made. Furthermore, it is not absolutely necessary that the Handle parts are molded together; they can also be made separately and then welded or glued together with the decoration in between become. For mechanically less stressed handles, for example for bowling ladles, the use of glass as a base material is also conceivable.
