  • Figure 4 shows a hoisting device applied for the method wherein the rear leg 3 is formed by the jib of a for instance telescopic, mobile crane. It will be apparent that by adding the masts to such a crane in this manner the hoisting capacity is increased subject to hoisting height and/or weight of the load.
  • FIG. 5 shows schematically the preferred embodiment of coupling means 5 for the method of hitching the load.
  • These coupling means 5 can form part of the object for erecting as well as being fastened temporarily thereto in the form of an assist means.
  • These coupling means comprise a support frame 5a and a connecting element 5b for connection to the hoisting cable.
  • the construction, location and dimensions of the coupling means depend on the application. Particularly the span "a" of the coupling means will have to be chosen optimally.
  • Figure 6 elucidates in side view and top view of the method the deployment of control means 6.
  • These control means which are anchored on base frame 1 of the hoisting installation, can be formed by a system of cables or hydraulically operated cylinders or manipulators. The assembly of control elements is laid out such that the object can be pulled or pushed to the erection site and rotated in the required direction. The system is shown in the figure with the use of cables.
  • Control cables 6a and 6b are fastened to the object for erecting in the points 10a and 10b and guided to the capstans 12a and 12b via cable pulleys 11a and 11b. Cable pulleys 11 and capstans 12 can be mounted on the underside of masts 2 and 3 or directly onto base frame 1.
