Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a hand shower with a handle according to the preamble of claim 1.
Handheld showerheads of this type are mainly used for body care while showering or for other cleaning purposes. In this case, the attached at the front end of a shower hose hand shower can be performed by hand so that from the shower head exiting water jets are directed to each area to be rinsed. A safe guidance of such a hand shower can be particularly problematic when a user has wet or soapy hands and / or when twisting the hand shower by a connected shower hose torsional restoring forces occur. For the twist-proof leadership of handheld showerheads, it has been proposed to provide a handle with polygonal cross-section. Also known are the finger size adapted grip recesses, which generally extend approximately in the circumferential direction of a handle and in particular should prevent slippage in the longitudinal direction. They are also knob-like or rib-like surface protrusions have been proposed for increasing the grip.

This document corresponds to the preamble of claim 1, and is considered to be the closest prior art.
The invention has for its object to provide a hand shower that allows safe handling during use. In particular, a visually appealing hand shower should be created.
To solve this problem, the invention proposes a hand shower with the features of claim 1.
A hand shower according to the invention is characterized in that at least one point of the handle is provided with a flat surface area made of a non-slip material. Such a sufficiently large anti-slip district creates the possibility, even with hand showers with otherwise smooth and / or rounded outer surfaces a slip-resistant guide or a stop guarantee. Preferably, at least one such surface area is arranged in a region with a grip function or a gripping function, that is to say an area which, under normal handling, is usually touched or surrounded by the hand, in particular the fingers. Thus, the favorable grip properties of a material selected for the surface area for the hand shower can be fully utilized without the entire hand shower or its entire outer surface must be designed in terms of favorable grip properties.
According to the antislip or braking function of the surface areas of a preferred embodiment of the invention, it is provided that at least one surface area in the region of the handle bottom of the hand shower is arranged, which encompasses the fingers of a user in normal use and thus determines the grip security in particular. This makes it particularly effective to improve the adhesion between the hand and surface area or hand shower. Alternatively or additionally, one or more surface areas may be attached to the handle back or to one or both sides of a handle. In addition, it is also possible for at least one surface area, in particular at least one slip-protection element, to be arranged on an actuating element movably mounted on the hand-held shower head for adjusting a function of the handle. Thus, for example, an arranged on the shower head or this associated actuator for switching between different types of spray in the inventive manner be made very secure handle, in particular by complete coating to allow a sensitive adjustment.
The extent of at least one anti-slip surface area is greater than about 5 cm 2 according to the invention and lies in particular between about 5 cm 2 and about 30 cm 2 , so that in the large-scale interaction with an attacking hand, a secure slip resistance is guaranteed. Such a surface area may be substantially flush with the surrounding, possibly smooth surface of the hand shower, so that a substantially seamless transition between non-slip and possibly smooth surfaces is possible and optimized usually after design aspects surface shape or contour of the Hand shower in the area of the surface area is not interrupted, but is continued. An anti-slip surface area may thus appear as part of the overall shape of the hand shower, but may be visually offset therefrom. In particular, a preferably aesthetically shaped, for example, round or oval surface area have a different color and / or pattern than the surrounding handle surface, whereby the appearance of the hand shower can be optically loosened.
An antislip effect of such surface areas can be promoted in particular by the surface area having a surface roughness which is greater than the surface roughness of surrounding portions of the hand shower surface. Alternatively or additionally, a surface area can also be profiled macroscopically slip-resistant, in particular, a distribution of small-scale recessed grips can be provided, which promotes the displacement of liquid between the hand and surface with firmly grasping hand, thereby enabling a large-area brake contact. Small-scale surface cavities, which can be very shallow with depths of less than 0.5 or 1 mm, have proven to be very easy to handle.
An advantageous development is characterized in that a surface area is at least partially elastically yielding, so that at external pressure in the region of the surface area an adaptation of the surface shape to the shape of the attacking hand can be done. As a result, a large-area touch contact and a lasting pleasant feel are promoted.
Although the advantages of the invention can be achieved by using any materials and / or natural substances in the surface area. Manufacturing technology particularly useful and inexpensive, it is when the material of the surface area is a non-slip plastic. In particular, thermoplastic rubbers can be used, such as those available, for example, under the trade name "Santoprene R". Such plastics used to Polymer group include the polyolefins and may for example have a composition with EPDM and polypropylene, are characterized by elastic and tactile properties similar to those of some synthetic rubbers, in particular by low permanent deformation. However, they need not be vulcanized, but can generally be processed inexpensively with all suitable processes for the processing of thermoplastic elastomers, for example in injection molding.
A surface area according to the invention is formed on a prefabricated, preferably largely dimensionally stable or self-supporting slip-protection element which, preferably from the outside, can be fastened to the hand-held showerhead. The wall of the hand shower can be recessed at the points to be provided with a slip-protection element of the handle, so that the slip-protection element replaces the wall at these locations. The preparation and shaping of the surface area can be done easily and inexpensively regardless of the production of the other parts of the hand shower. The parts can be connected together in an assembly step following the respective production. The attachment can be done by means of separate, possibly tool-operated fastening means, such as screws or the like. A particularly simple assembly and possibly disassembly can be achieved in a preferred development in that a slip-protection element without tools, so without the aid of tools, is attachable to the hand shower. For this purpose, cooperating means or structures can be provided, in particular on the slip protection element and the hand shower be, which make it possible to positively lock an anti-skid element with the hand shower and / or clamp on the hand shower. A slip protection element, which can also be referred to as a haptic element, is designed as an insert which can be inserted into a receiving opening of the hand shower, in particular of the handle, or as an attachment which can be placed on a holding projection of the hand shower. Anti-skid elements can be designed to be replaceable, in particular without tools, so that, for example, by removing a slip-protection element and replacing it with a built-in cup identical but differently shaped and / or colored slip-protection element, the appearance of the hand-held showerhead can be changed in a simple manner and, for example, the color scheme customize the environment of use. For reasons of simple and cost-effective production, anti-slip elements are preferred, which are formed by a one-piece plastic part, preferably an injection-molded part, which consists of the described thermoplastic rubber material. It is also possible to provide the receiving opening for an anti-skid element at the same time as an access opening for functional parts, which are arranged in the hand shower, in particular in the shower handle. Such functional parts may be, for example, filters, throttle devices and / or noise dampers.

The made in a separate injection molding process independently of the housing of the

The hand shower 1 has in addition to the
The invention thus proposes, in particular, a hand shower which, in partial regions of the surface of at least the handle, has non-slip, grip-proof, extensively extended surface areas Has. These can in particular consist of inserts or attachments made of materials with rubber-like surfaces, wherein the surfaces may possibly also be structured or profiled. With regard to their shape, coloring and / or patterning, such surface areas may be designed in such a way that they loosen up and enhance the appearance of the hand shower and, in particular, provide better grip properties. Hand showers, the feel of which is improved according to the invention, enable safe guidance even with wet or soapy hands.
