Claims (9)

  1. Powered handtool (10) having an elongate housing (12) with a rotating tool (20) which is arranged at an angle to the main housing part (12a), the housing (12) receiving means for driving the tool (20) and bearing a switching element (22) on the outside, characterized in that the gripping surface of the housing is used as a handle, the tool (20) is attached to the housing (12) at an angle of at most 60°, with respect to the main housing part (12a), the front end of the housing (12) which receives the tool (20) being formed parallel to and/or aligned with the tool (20) and at an angle with respect to the main housing part (12a), as a front angled-off section (28), and in that a region of the rear end, which is remote from the tool (20), of the housing (12) is likewise formed as a rear angled-off section (30) which is angled off by at most 60°, downwards with respect to the main housing part (12a), the angled-off sections (28, 30) in each case serving as a handle which can be gripped all the way around and being shorter than the main housing part (12a), the switching element (22) being arranged on the top side of the housing (12), either at the front and/or at the rear.
  2. Powered handtool according to Claim 1, characterized in that the housing (12) has a narrowed section (36) in the region of the front angled-off section (28).
  3. Powered handtool according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the housing (12) has a curved, in particular spherically formed region (26) at least at the top in the region of the front angled-off section (28).
  4. Powered handtool according to Claim 3, characterized in that the narrowed section (36) is formed as a lateral indent (38, 39) on each side of the spherical region (26), in particular on each housing shell (11, 13) of the longitudinally split housing (12).
  5. Powered handtool according to Claim 1, characterized in that the front angled-off section (28) of the housing (12) bears an annular bead (34) at its end, in particular in the region of the clamped-in brushing tool (20).
  6. Powered handtool according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it has a latch-over clamping device for exchangeable brushing tools (20), in particular brushing tools of different sizes and shapes.
  7. Powered handtool according to Claim 6, characterized in that it bears a button (32) for releasing the clamping device.
  8. Powered handtool according to Claim 7, characterized in that the button (32) is formed from a section of the annular bead (34).
  9. Powered handtool according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the housing (12) is produced in shell design.
