Description

The invention relates to a pressure control arrangement the features of the preamble of claim 1.

B. zunächst das Filtergehäuse befestigen und danach an einer festen Basis die Leitungsanschlüsse herstellen kann.FR-A-2 580 190 shows a pressure control arrangement between a fuel pump and an internal combustion engine in which a pressure regulator and a filter insert in one Housing are arranged. One inlet connection, one Flow connection and a shutdown line are together with the pressure regulator arranged on one side of the housing. It is advantageous with this arrangement that the components of the Manufacturer's pressure regulator arrangement into one unit can be pre-assembled. This can be done during final assembly on Band in a few easy steps Fuel supply system of the respective vehicle to be built in. Additional line connections between the pressure regulator and the filter are eliminated, so that not only the number of parts, but also the amount of work considerably be reduced because the pressure regulator with the filter in a common housing is arranged, the one Inlet connection, one outlet connection and one Control port has. This will make the filter cartridge or the filter housing simply downstream of the pump connected and performs the double function Pressure limitation and fine filtering of the fuel flow. A particularly simple and quick installation is the known pressure control arrangement achieved because all three Connections arranged on the same side of the filter housing are and then z. B. first attach the filter housing and then the line connections on a fixed basis can manufacture.

A disadvantage of the known pressure control arrangement is that the pressure regulator is mounted directly in the regulating connection is. Since known pressure regulators often have a variety of Components such as a compression spring and Setting means for setting a switching threshold the cutoff connection is far from that common housing. Continue to hinder the Connections attached lines the accessibility of the Pressure regulator. Due to the protruding design of the regulating connection the connections are not on one level arranged what the assembly of the pressure control assembly difficult.

One connection for one Flow line is on the opposite side of the Housing arranged. By arranging the connections different sides of the housing and the pressure regulator the installation of the Pressure control arrangement and the setting of the pressure regulator very much difficult.

A pressure control arrangement is known from DE 195 36 084 A1 where the pressure regulator is next to a connection for a lead is arranged. This leads to a high one Assembly effort of the pressure control arrangement on the connections cables to be fastened.

Die Merkmale der Unteransprüche geben vorteilhafte Weiterbildungen dieses Gegenstands an.The invention is based on the problem of sufficient installation space for the connections on the one hand and the components of the To provide pressure regulator on the other hand. This task will according to the invention with the characteristic features of Claim 1 solved. Give the characteristics of the subclaims advantageous developments of this object.

According to the pressure regulator on one of the. Connections facing away from the housing, so that enough installation space for its components on the one hand and the connections on the other hand is present. So everyone can Connections can be arranged in one level, which is the assembly facilitated. The mostly very bulky components of the Pressure regulators do not interfere with the connection of the lines. Furthermore, the setting means of the Pressure regulator with particularly little effort on an easy accessible point of the pressure control arrangement according to the invention provide.

It is also an advantage if the pressure regulator is downstream of the Filter insert is arranged. The long-term rising Throttle resistance of the filter insert has no influence on the switching behavior of the pressure regulator. Also got no unfiltered fuel in the regulating circuit.

A particularly compact design arises when the Discharge line is arranged coaxially to the filter.

The common housing will preferably consist of sheet metal and sealed on both sides with lids - e.g. B. by flanging - be closed. For mechanical fixing of the unit can be a union nut or the like in a known manner. provide. A significant saving in assembly time is achieved if all three connections are arranged coaxially to each other and the pressure control arrangement with a corresponding one Connection piece with three corresponding, against each other sealable channels corresponds with which they pass through Plugging or screwing can be connected directly.

Further details and advantages of the subject of Invention go from the drawing of an embodiment and which will be discussed in more detail below Description.

The single figure shows schematically a cross section through a pressure control arrangement according to the invention.

A hollow cylindrical filter insert 2 is provided in a housing 1 (also referred to as a filter cartridge) in a manner known per se. Fuel is pumped into the housing 1 by a pump (not shown) via an inlet 3 with an inlet connection 4. This flows over from the outer lateral surface of the filter insert 2 into its interior 5 and is thereby mechanically freed from impurities. The fuel flows from the interior 5 of the filter insert 2 via a feed line 6 to the consumer, also not shown. It flows through a flow connection 7 to which a flow line, not shown, is to be connected. An input connection 8 (perforated housing wall) of a pressure regulator 9 now communicates with the interior space 5, to which already filtered fuel is thus also supplied. The flow pressure to be passed on to the consumer, which is approx.3,500 hPa (3.5 bar), is thus present at the pressure regulator input. The pressure regulator 9 includes a valve body 10 and a membrane 11 which is firmly connected to the latter. The latter is formed by the edge of an inlet of a regulating channel 14.
The pretension of the compression spring 12 together with the pressurized surface of the membrane 11 defines the switching threshold of the pressure regulator 9. Preference is given to means for adjusting the pretension of the compression spring -z. B. an adjusting screw- to be able to individually adjust and adjust said switching threshold as required.
It can be seen that the regulating channel 14 extends centrally and coaxially through the interior 5 of the filter insert 3. It opens into a regulating connection 15, which is arranged on the same housing side as the other two connections 4 and 7.
The housing is preferably made of sheet metal and is sealed at both ends with covers 16, 17. The (left) cover 16 comprises the three connections of the pressure control arrangement, while the (right) cover 17 covers the pressure regulator 9 together with the spring 12.
Deviating from the pictorial representation, all three connections of the common housing can be arranged coaxially with respect to one another, preferably centrally, as is already known with normal fuel filters with only two connections. To further distribute the different currents, a corresponding connection piece with three corresponding coaxial openings, which can be completely sealed off from one another and can be connected separately beyond the connection piece, must then be provided.
On the outer wall of the outer channel of the common housing z. B. provide a thread that can be screwed into a corresponding counterpart on said connector. Such a pressure control arrangement could also be connected or exchanged very quickly and with the lowest probability of error.
It can e.g. B.-without excluding modifications-be expedient to guide the regulating flow, as shown in the figure, through a centrally located channel 14. In the mouth area, the flow 6 surrounds it as an annular channel and is in turn surrounded by another annular channel for the inlet 3 to the filter. Of course, all three channels must be carefully sealed against each other and to the outside.
