Abstract

Beschrieben wird ein Vorschaltgerät zum Betreiben von Hochdruck-Gasentladungslampen bei der die Hochdruck-Gasentladungslampe über eine H-Brückenschaltung angesteuert wird. Das Vorschaltgerät ist so aufgebaut, daß die H-Brückenschalter durch zwei zueinander invertierte digitale Signale gesteuert werden, wobei jedes Signal zueinander diagonal angeordnete H-Brückenschalter steuert und daß jedes Signal zusätzlich am Steuereingang eines Halbleiterschalters anliegt, welcher den Steuerkreis eines H-Brückenschalters der jeweils nichtangesteuerten Brückendiagonale kurzschließt oder niederohmig verbindet und so einen sehr schnellen Ladungsausgleich in der Steuerstrecke des H-Brückenschalter bewirkt.
Durch die erfindungsgemäße Maßnahme werden Querströme in den H-Brückenzweigen auf einfache Weise wirkungsvoll vermieden.
