Claims (17)

  1. Method for the production of condensed yarn, characterized in that the effect of the condensing is tested by the automatic testing of the nappiness of the yarn made and is monitored by the automatic monitoring of the overshooting of a predetermined nappiness limit value.
  2. Method according to Claim 1, characterized in that the nappiness of the yarn made is detected in terms of the frequency of projecting fibres with a greater projecting length.
  3. Method according to Claim 1, characterized in that the testing and monitoring of the nappiness are carried out on the yarn.
  4. Method according to Claim 3, characterized in that the testing and monitoring of the nappiness are carried out directly at the spinning station.
  5. Method according to Claim 3, characterized in that the testing and monitoring of the nappiness are carried out in a subsequent processing step of the yarn made.
  6. Method according to Claim 1, characterized in that the testing and monitoring of the nappiness are carried out on the cop.
  7. Method according to Claim 1, characterized in that a signal is emitted when an overshooting of a predetermined nappiness limit value is detected.
  8. Method according to Claim 7, characterized in that, by means of the emitted signal, a warning device is switched on, by means of which attention is drawn to the fault which has occurred.
  9. Method according to Claim 7, characterized in that, by means of the emitted signal, the faulty spinning station is stopped automatically.
  10. Device for the production of condensed yarn, characterized in that it has a nappiness sensor (17) for detecting the nappiness of the yarn (18) made and a control apparatus (20) for detecting the overshooting of a predetermined nappiness limit value and for emitting a signal when the limit value is overshot.
  11. Device according to Claim 10, characterized in that the nappiness sensor (17) is set up for the detection of fibre portions of specific length classes which project from the yarn made.
  12. Device according to Claim 10, characterized in that the control apparatus (20) is set up for detecting the overshooting of a predetermined nappiness limit value for the detection of fibre portions of specific length classes which project from the yarn (18) made or from the cop (12) made.
  13. Device according to Claim 10, characterized in that the control apparatus (20) is operatively connected to the spinning stations of the apparatus (1) for the production of condensed yarns, in such a way that a faultily operating spinning station can be switched off automatically by means of a signal emitted by the control apparatus.
  14. Device according to Claim 10, characterized in that each spinning station of the apparatus (1) for the production of condensed yarns is equipped with a nappiness sensor (17).
  15. Device according to Claim 10, characterized in that a device (27) handling cops (12) is assigned a nappiness sensor (17') sensing the handled cops in succession.
  16. Device according to Claim 10, characterized in that an apparatus (25) following the apparatus (1) for the production of condensed yarns (18) and processing the yarns is assigned at least one nappiness sensor (17), and in that means (33, 34, 20) are provided, which make it possible to allocate a processed yarn to a spinning station of the apparatus for the production of condensed yarns.
  17. Device according to Claim 10, characterized in that a nappiness sensor (17") is provided, which is guided along the workstations (24) of an apparatus (1, 25) producing or processing yarns and by means of which yarns (18) or cops (12) can be sensed for their nappiness, in each case for a short time, but repeatedly.
