Claims (5)

  1. Apparatus for forming and removing sheet stacks (3) in and/or from a stack tray (1), comprising a collecting box (4), which is delimited by front and rear stack stops (13 and 14 respectively) adjustable to the format length of the sheet stacks, as well as a transfer path (7) for feeding sheets (2), which corresponds with a vertically movable platform (17), which in the form of a separating rake is advanceable in synchronism with the withdrawal motion of a stack removal apparatus (8) in sheet transfer direction (6) into the stack tray (1), characterized in that the rear stack stops (14), the platform (17) and the transfer path (7) designed as a belt path are disposed on a common slide (16), which is displaceable in sheet transfer direction (6).
  2. Apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that the platform (17) and transfer path (7), which are vertically spaced apart from one another in a defined manner, are jointly movable up and down.
  3. Apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that the slide (16) is disposed in a longitudinally movable manner on a slide carrier (21), which is movable vertically relative to the collecting box (4).
  4. Apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that the platform (17) is displaceable relative to the slide (16) by a shortened or lengthened longitudinal stroke adapted in accordance with the distance between rear and front stack stops (14 and 13 respectively).
  5. Apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the collecting box (4) comprises an exchangeable bottom rail (24), which is equipped with support rakes (23) and provided with lateral stack stops (27), which are adjustable and arrestable in transverse guides (26).
