Description

The invention relates to a lighting device for attachment to a first, a light exit plane defining wall, in particular at one Ceiling, as well as for uniform illumination of a large-scale and at an angle, in particular to a 90 ° angle, standing to the first wall second Wall, comprising a light source, in the field the first focus of a substantially ellipsoidal Reflector element is arranged, a Lens arrangement, one with respect to the light exit plane includes inclined lens, and a light exit opening, in the second focus of the Reflector element is arranged.

Such a lighting device is in the catalog of the applicant "luminaire program", issue 1998/99, on page 228 under the article number 81661 shown. Here is as a light source one PAR 56 500 watt / 120 V lamp provided at one ceiling-mounted a room height of up to 12 m illuminates evenly. Larger room heights are with such a lighting device in principle no longer satisfactorily illuminable.

It is an object of the invention to provide a lighting device according to the preamble of claim 1 to To provide a uniform illumination larger wall surfaces, especially at room heights over 12 m.

The invention achieves this object with the features of claim 1, in particular with those of the characterizing part, and is accordingly characterized
  • that the light source is a free-radiating high-voltage halogen lamp which is arranged within a parabolic spot reflector, wherein the longitudinal axis of the lamp is substantially perpendicular to the central axis of the spot reflector,
  • that the first focal point of the reflector element coincides with the focal point of the spot reflector, and
  • the spot reflector has an opening which is at least partially penetrated by the lamp.

The principle of the invention initially in it, instead of a PAR lamp as a light source one to use free-radiating high-voltage halogen lamp. This is essential because PAR lamps are never absolute are streak-free, ensuring uniform illumination a wall only by increased suppression in the sculpture lens is reachable.

Furthermore, for the high-voltage halogen lamp Spot reflector provided by the high-voltage halogen lamp partially surrounds. The high-voltage halogen lamp is at the focal point of the parabolic spot reflector arranged.

On the other hand, the arrangement of the high-voltage halogen lamp allows such that its longitudinal axis is vertical to the central axis of the spot reflector, so under an angle between 0 and 45 ° to the Lichtaustrittsebene stands, the use of a high-voltage halogen lamp with a very big performance. The Heat can namely in such a selected arrangement be directed outside the spot reflector, so that there is enough volume for cooling Available. It is crucial in the hit Arrangement of the high-voltage halogen lamp but also that now the light center of the light source is very concentrated in the region of the first focal point of the reflector element is placed. This can be a light pipe take place such that this focal point in the light exit opening of the lighting device, So in the light exit plane, concentrated is shown.

The lighting device according to the invention allows an excellent glare limitation, so Virtually glare-free, has good efficiency on and illuminates the wall absolutely evenly.

Although it is already in the art known in lighting devices used as wallwashers To use halogen bulbs as a light source, as for example from the above-mentioned catalog of Applicant on page 221, under the article number 81 533. Here, however, the halogen lamp is arranged so that their Longitudinal axis substantially perpendicular to the light exit plane stands. With such wallwashers, however, are only small wall surfaces, evenly illuminable up to 3 m at low room heights. These used halogen bulbs have maximum power from 150 W up.

The selected arrangement according to the invention has moreover the advantage that now a change of the lamp can be done easily can. Since the light exit opening is much larger than the used high-voltage halogen lamp, a user can use the lamp easily move through the light exit opening. At the The prior art was the replacement of a relatively large PAR Lamp more complicated because the light exit opening in relation to it was relatively small.

From US-A-3 643 089 a lighting device is used Attachment to a first, defining a light exit plane Wall and for uniform illumination of a large and at an angle to the first wall standing second wall out. Here is already a light source provided in the area a first focal point of an ellipsoidal reflector element is arranged. A second focal point of the reflector element is located outside the light exit opening.

A lens assembly having a relative to the light exit plane inclined spreading lens is not apparent from this document. Also a parabolic-shaped spot reflector, within which a free-radiating High-voltage halogen lamp is arranged, the longitudinal axis of the Lamp substantially perpendicular to the central axis of the spot reflector is not apparent from this document.

In a further embodiment of the invention, the longitudinal axis of the Lamp in a plane parallel to the second wall. This allows spreading of the luminous flux such that a relatively wide wall area of the second wall evenly can be illuminated. For a majority along a line arranged lighting devices can therefore on advantageous way the individual distances the lighting devices from each other low to get voted.

According to a further embodiment of the invention the lamp base protrudes at least partially from the Spot reflector out. This allows for a special efficient cooling of the lamp because of the high Performance big heaters, especially in the area of the lamp base, occur. Because the lamp base at least partially protruding from the spot reflector, is immediately adjacent to the lamp base Free space available, the heat energy can record.

According to a further advantageous embodiment the invention is the spot reflector in the field of his Center flattened. This is the spot reflector particularly advantageous to the position of the lamp adapted and can thus a particularly high efficiency, i.e. allow a maximum amount of light leakage.

Desired is a high efficiency of Luminaire, an absolutely uniform illumination of the Side wall 12 and a user 13 a nearly complete glare limitation or glare-free.

Gemäß Fig. 2 umfaßt die Beleuchtungsvorrichtung 10 im wesentlichen folgende Elemente:According to Fig. 2, the lighting device comprises 10 essentially the following elements:

Within a housing 14, which for example can also be a concrete housing, is a Holding device 15 is arranged, which in principle any way a spot reflector 16 holds. Within the spot reflector 16 is a free-radiating High-voltage halogen lamp 17 is arranged, whose Socket 18 partially through an opening 19 in the wall of the spot reflector 16 from the interior 20 of the Spot reflector 16 protrudes. The longitudinal axis L of High-voltage halogen lamp 17 is thus under one right angle to the center axis M of the spot reflector 16. The center axis M of the spot reflector 16 is with respect to a through the light exit opening 21st defined light exit plane E at an angle β inclined.

Bei dem in den Fig. dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel beträgt der Winkel α etwa 17°.It follows that the longitudinal axis L of High-voltage halogen lamp 17 at an acute angle α (as shown in Fig. 2) with respect to the light exit plane E of the lighting device 10 is. The angle α is dependent on the room height H to choose. In the embodiment shown in FIGS the angle α is about 17 °.

At a ceiling height H of a wall to be illuminated 12 of about 30 m, the angle α is about 6 °.

The parabolic-shaped spot reflector 16 has in Area of its light exit opening 22 a direction neutral, clear, hardly structured dispersion lens 23 on. The scattering lens essentially serves a reduced amount of light on a like a Wallwasher scoop formed elipsoidförmiges To throw reflector element 24. That on his hollow side 25 mirrored reflector element 24 serves the upper portion 12a of the wall 12 soft and streak free illuminate.

While the direct light component (indicated in Fig. 2 by the two beams S1 and S2) in essential for the illumination of the lower wall areas Provides 12b, the scattering lens 23 serves as it were as a link between the direct light component and the amount of scattered light. The scattered light component is over the reflector element 24 in the upper wall area 12a thrown out.

Regarding the difference between direct light component and stray light component of the lamp 17 the lighting device 10 emitted light It should be noted that as a direct light component one Light component is called, which is essentially either directly from the light source 17 without any Reflection through the light exit opening 21 of Lighting device 10 exits, as well as the one Proportion of light, only from the spot reflector 16 is reflected and then by the Light exit opening 21 emerges.

On the other hand, the scattered light component is called the light that comes from the high-voltage halogen lamp 17 coming from the scattered lens 23 and deflected is thrown onto the reflector element 24. This Light can then from the reflector element 24 and of the mirrored hollow side 25 through the light exit opening 21 of the lighting device 10 ejected and especially the upper wall area 12a of the wall 12 to be illuminated.

With the lighting device according to the invention 10, there are no transitions between them recognize both viewing portions, causing the wall 12th is evenly lit.

The high-voltage halogen lamp 17 is arranged such that the light center of the high-voltage halogen lamp 17 in the region of an upper focal point (about at Pos. P1) of the reflector element 24 is located. The Arrangement is made such that the lower, second focus P2 in the light exit opening 21 the lighting device, in particular in the light exit plane E, is located.

Within the high-voltage halogen lamp 17 is a essentially M-shaped coil, not shown arranged. The arrangement of this filament can be For example, from the aforementioned catalog of Applicant, page 372 in the last column.

The actual light volume, which is also called Highlighted light, is thus spatially very limited and thus focused around the first focus Pl of the reflector element 24 around.

The spot reflector 16 is relative to the reflector element 24 arranged such that the focal point of the parabolic spot reflector 16 with the first Focus P1 of the ellipsoidal reflector element 24 coincides. In an advantageous way is about it In addition, the spot reflector 16 in the region of its center Z flattened. This allows for a special high efficiency of the lighting device according to the invention.

In the light path is between the spot reflector 16th and the light exit opening 21 of the lighting device 10, a lens assembly 26 is provided which on the one hand can have an expansion lens 27, which essentially serves the exiting Light oval (with reference to FIG. 2 out of the plane of the paper) spread open to the widest possible wall area to illuminate, or the distance of several, along a line arranged lighting device 10 to keep each other low. on the other hand may be below the expansion lens 27, a darklight reflector assembly 28, the glare-free ensures, as in the direction of the wall 12 a high dimming takes place.

The base 18 of the high voltage halogen lamp 17 is releasably secured to a socket body 29, which in heat-conducting connection with a heat sink 30 stands. The example of die-cast aluminum existing heatsink 30 can over a variety of Cooling fins 31 have. That's how it works even with high-performance high-voltage halogen lamps 17 with powers of 500 watts sufficient cooling to ensure.

With reference to FIGS. 2 and 3, it should be noted that the position of the high-voltage halogen lamp 17 and the Socket body 29 and the mantle 30 for reasons the clarity in a 90 ° around the central axis M of the spot reflector 16 rotated position is shown.

In fact, the high-voltage halogen lamp is 17 arranged such that the longitudinal axis L of the high-voltage halogen lamp 17 in a plane parallel to the second Wall 12 is located. Accordingly, correct drawings would have to in a sectional view according to FIG. 2 a spot reflector 16 show that in the field of illustrated opening 19 throughout (ie without opening) would be formed as well as a high-voltage halogen lamp 17 in a cross-sectional view across her Longitudinal axis L, as shown in Fig. 3.

Analog you have to look at the location of the high-voltage halogen lamp 17 in Fig. 3 such that their Longitudinal axis L is actually in the plane of the paper, ie parallel to the light exit plane E and vertical arranged to the central axis M of the spot reflector 16 is. Accordingly, the spot reflector 16 would have to be in a correct representation of Fig. 3 actually to reveal an opening 19.

Replacing the high-voltage halogen lamp 17 designed in the lighting device according to the invention 10 especially easy as the Light exit opening 21 of the lighting device 10 is much larger than the lamp 17. The user must only the means of a safety rope 32nd held lens assembly 26 and then has Access to a retaining spring 33 for the pivot arranged scattering lens 23.

By actuating the retaining spring 33 and pivoting the scattering lens 23, the user can High-voltage halogen lamp 17 in a simple way and insert a new lamp 17.

Such a replacement process is on the stand the technique with a PAR lamp much more expensive, because PAR lamps are significantly larger than high-voltage halogen lamps 17th

As a light source is advantageously a High-voltage halogen lamp 17 of type QT 15, 500 watts, 230 V or QT 22, 500 watts, 230 V used, so that be accessed in a widely used lamp type can.

The spot reflector 16 itself can advantageously from several circumferentially adjacent Segments exist.
