Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Außenzahnradpumpe mit Fördervolumenbegrenzung nach dem Oberbegriff von Anspruch 1. Insbesondere betrifft die Erfindung eine mit zunehmender Drehzahl sich selbst abregelnde Außenzahnradpumpe.
Eine Außenzahnradpumpe mit Fördervolumenbegrenzung ist aus der DE 41 21 074 A1 bekannt. Aus der GB-A 781 697 ist die Ausbildung von Taschen in einer axialen Dichtfläche von Pumpenrädern bekannt. Die JP 57-73880 und die JP 46-2624 betreffen Außenzahnradpumpen mit Fördervolumenbegrenzung, die in einer axialen Dichtfläche eines Pumpenrades an einen Dichtsteg der Dichtfläche grenzend Taschen aufweisen, von denen eine erste Tasche einen Pumpenauslass und eine andere, zweite Tasche einen Pumpenauslass mit einem Bereich tiefsten Zahneingriffs der Pumpenräder verbindet.
Vor diesem Stand der Technik hat es sich die Erfindung zur Aufgabe gemacht, eine Außenzahnradpumpe mit Fördervolumenbegrenzung zu schaffen, die ein zu förderndes Fluid möglichst gleichmäßig und pulsationsfrei fördert.
Diese Aufgabe wird durch den Gegenstand von Anspruch 1 gelöst.
Die Erfindung geht von einer Außenzahnradpumpe aus, die in einem Gehäuse ein drehangetriebenes Zahnradpaar mit zwei miteinander kämmenden Stirnrädern aufweist. Das Zahnradpaar ist von Gehäuseflächen ummantelt, die zusammen mit axialen Dichtflächen, über die die Stirnräder mit ihren Stirnflächen streichen, einen Förderraum begrenzen, der eine Niederdruckseite, die mit einem Pumpeneinlass verbunden ist, und eine Hochdruckseite, die mit einem Pumpenauslass verbunden ist, aufweist. Zur Begrenzung des Fördervolumens der Pumpe ist eines der Stirnräder auf einem Kolben drehgelagert, der zusammen mit diesem Stirnrad in dem Gehäuse relativ zu dem anderen Stirnrad verschiebbar aufgenommen ist. Vorzugsweise ist der Kolben parallel zu der Drehachse des an dem Kolben gelagerten Stirnrads geradverschiebbar. Durch die Verschiebung des einen Stirnrads relativ zu dem anderen Stirnrad wird bei der bevorzugten axialen Verschiebung die Länge des Eingriffs der Stirnräder verändert.
Die Eingriffslänge wird mit zunehmendem Pumpendruck, der in Abhängigkeit von der Pumpendrehzahl zu- und abnimmt, selbsttätig verringert. Die Begrenzung des Fördervolumens bzw. die selbsttätige Abregelung der Pumpe mit zunehmendem Pumpendruck wird durch Beaufschlagung des Kolbens mit Fluid der Hochdruckseite bewirkt. Der Druckkraft des Hochdruckfluids wirkt die Kraft eines Rückstellelements entgegen. Das Rückstellelement wird vorzugsweise durch eine Druckfeder gebildet. Das Druckfluid drückt den Kolben in Richtung einer Verringerung der Zahneingriffslänge, und das Rückstellelement wirkt dieser Druckkraft entgegen.
Bevorzugt findet die Pumpe Verwendung als Schmierölpumpe, insbesondere zur Förderung von Motoröl bei Hubkolbenmotoren.
In wenigstens einer axialen Dichtfläche sind an einen Dichtsteg dieser Dichtfläche grenzend wenigstens zwei Taschen bzw. Nieren ausgebildet. Eine erste dieser Taschen verbindet einen Bereich tiefsten Zahneingriffs der Zahnräder mit dem Pumpenauslass, und eine zweite dieser Taschen verbindet den Bereich tiefsten Zahneingriffs mit dem Pumpeneinlass. Die axiale Dichtfläche grenzt unmittelbar an eine Stirnfläche eines der Stirnräder. Der Dichtsteg der Dichtfläche überdeckt den Grund der Zahnlücke des tiefsten Zahneingriffs der beiden Zahnräder. Die erste Tasche verbindet die Zahnlücke im Bereich des tiefsten Zahneingriffs mit der nächsten Zahnlücke auf der Hochdruckseite, und die zweite Tasche verbindet die Zahnlücke im Bereich des tiefsten Zahneingriffs mit der nächsten Zahnlücke auf der Niederdruckseite.
Gegenüber einer Dichtfläche ohne Tasche wird für einen widerstandsärmeren Abfluss des Hochdruckfluids aus der Zahnlücke tiefsten Zahneingriffs gesorgt. Durch die Erfindung wird somit eine Außenzahnradpumpe geschaffen, bei der das Fluid der Hochdruckseite zur selbstätigen Begrenzung des Fördervolumens genutzt wird und dennoch die bei solchen Außenzahnradpumpen mit den bekannten, einfach planen axialen Dichtflächen einhergehenden Quetschöleffekte eliminiert oder zumindest reduziert werden.
Die Tiefe der ersten Tasche beträgt vorzugsweise höchstens ein Fünftel und mindestens ein Zwanzigstel der maximalen Länge des Eingriffs der beiden Zahnräder. Dies gilt auch für die zweite Tasche. Bei Ausbildung weiterer Taschen können deren Tiefen jeweils gleich sein.
Nach der Erfindung weist die Tasche auf der Niederdruckseite, eine geringere Tiefe auf als die Tasche auf der Hochdruckseite. In einer bevorzugten Ausführung fällt die ansonsten einfach plane axiale Dichtfläche in einer Treppenstufe zu den wieder einfach planen Taschen konstanter Tiefe ab. Die maximale Eingrifflänge besteht zumindest bei Nullförderung und entsprechend der Rückstellcharakteristik des Rückstellelements im unteren Drehzahlbereich der Pumpe.
Die erste Tasche weist eine Fläche, gemessen am oberen Rand der Tasche, von mindestens 5 % und höchstens 20 % der von dem Stirnrad überstrichenen Fläche auf. Mit zunehmender Taschenfläche wird vorteilhafterweise die Reibung zwischen der Dichtfläche und der darüberstreichenden Stirnfläche des Stirnrads geringer.
Durch die Tasche auf der Hochdruckseite der axialen Dichtfläche wird die Verdrängung von Fluid in Förderrichtung aus dem Quetschbereich des engsten Zahneingriffs erleichtert. Durch die Tasche auf der Niederdruckseite wird immerhin die Fluidmenge im Quetschbereich verringert.
Vorzugsweise sind auch weitere der axialen Dichtflächen für die Stirnräder mit je einer Tasche auf der Hochdruckseite, und noch weiter bevorzugt auch mit je einer Tasche auf der Niederdruckseite der jeweiligen Dichtfläche, versehen.
Die Pumpe kann auch mehrere Zahnradpaare aufweisen. Insbesondere kann ein einzelnes Stirnrad, das dann vorzugsweise angetrieben wird, mit noch einem oder mehreren Stirnrädern kämmen und auf diese Weise mehrere Zahnradpaare der Pumpe bilden. Vorzugsweise ist wenigstens eine Tasche der vorstehend beschriebenen Art auch in gleicher Weise in dem Bereich tiefsten Zahneingriffs dieses weiteren Zahnradpaars bzw. jedes weiteren Zahnradpaars ausgebildet. In einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform ist auch solch ein weiteres Stirnrad zur Regelung des Pumpenfördervolumens durch Druckbeaufschlagung verschiebbar relativ zu dem gemeinsamen Stirnrad. Dabei können die Förderkennlinien der Zahnradpaare gleich sein oder auch voneinander abweichen.
Ein bevorzugtes Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wird nachfolgend anhand von Figuren beschrieben. Es zeigen:

Figur 1 zeigt eine Außenzahnradpumpe mit Fördervolumenbegrenzung in einem Längsschnitt, dessen Lage in den Figuren 2 und 3 als Schnittlinie C-C eingetragen ist.
Ein Gehäuseteil 1 und ein damit fluiddicht verschraubter Deckel 2 bilden ein Gehäuse der Pumpe. Das Gehäuseteil 1 und der Deckel 2 sind je in einer Einzeldarstellung in Figur 2 bzw. Figur 3 abgebildet, auf die ergänzend stets verwiesen sei. Auch auf die perspektivische Ansicht des Deckels 2 mit aufgesetztem Stirnrad in Figur 5 sei hierbei verwiesen.
Der Deckel 2 weist eine Deckelplatte und einen davon aufragenden, kreiszylindrischen Sockel 5 auf. In dem Gehäuse der Pumpe sind zwei Stirnräder 6 und 11 um parallel beabstandete Drehachsen drehgelagert. Die Stirnräder 6 und 11 befinden sich mit ihren Verzahnungen 7 und 12 in einem kämmenden Eingriff. In den Eingriffsbereich der Stirnräder 6 und 11 mündet zu einer Seite des Stirnradpaars ein Fluideinlass 3, der in Figur 1 in einer gestrichelten Linie angedeutet ist, und an der dem Pumpeneinlass 3 gegenüberliegenden Seite des Stirnradpaars ein Pumpenauslass 4. Durch Drehantrieb der Stirnräder 6 und 7 wird Fluid von dem Pumpeneinlass 3 zu dem Pumpenauslass 4 gefördert.
Der Drehantrieb erfolgt über eine Antriebswelle 8, die im Sockel 5 des Deckels 2 drehgelagert ist. Das Stirnrad 6 ist auf der Antriebswelle 8 verdreh- und verschiebegesichert befestigt.
Das andere Stirnrad 11 ist zwischen zwei Zylinderkörpern 14 und 15 auf einem Wellenzapfen 13, der die beiden Zylinderkörper 14 und 15 miteinander verbindet, drehgelagert und relativ zu den Zylinderkörpern 14 und 15 nicht verschiebbar. Die beiden Zylinderkörper 14 und 15 bilden einen Kolben, der in einer Bohrung des Gehäuseteils 1 entlang der Flucht der Drehachse des Stirnrads 11 hin- und her geradverschiebbar ist. An einer äußeren ersten Stirnfläche wird dieser Kolben 14, 15 mit Fluid der Hochdruckseite druckbeaufschlagt. Der Pumpenauslass 4 mündet unmittelbar in einen Hochdruckraum 18 der von der äußeren ersten Stirnfläche des Kolbens 14, 15 bzw: des Zylinderkörpers 14 abgedichtet wird. Auf eine äußere zweite Stirnfläche des Zylinderkörpers 15, die der äußeren ersten Stirnfläche gegenüberliegt, wird der Kolben 14, 15 mittels einer Stahldruckfeder 20 mit einer elastischen Rückstellkraft beaufschlagt. Bei einer Zunahme des Drucks im Hochdruckraum 18 wird der Kolben 14, 15 entgegen der rückstellenden Kraft der Druckfeder 20 relativ zu dem Stirnrad 6 achsparallel in solch eine Richtung verschoben, dass die Länge des Eingriffs der beiden Stirnräder 6 und 11 verringert wird. Mit der Verringerung der Eingriffslänge wird das Fördervolumen der Pumpe verringert. Da der Druck im Hochdruckraum 18 mit zunehmender Pumpendrehzahl der Stirnräder 6 und 11 zunimmt und diese Zunahme zu einer Verringerung der Eingriffslänge der beiden Stirnräder 6 und 7 führt, regelt sich die Pumpe automatisch und wegen der einfachen Gleichschaltung von Pumpenauslass 4 und Hochdruckraum 18 stufenlos ab. Die maximale Eingriffslänge entspricht im Ausführungsbeispiel der Länge der beiden gleichlängen Stirnräder. Sie wird bei Nullförderung, insbesondere bei Stillstand der Pumpe erreicht; dabei liegen die Stirnräder 6 und 11 einander auf gleicher Höhe gegenüber.
Die Fluidförderung von dem Pumpeneinlass 3 zu dem Pumpenauslass 4 erfolgt durch einen Pumpenförderraum, der von Mantelflächen des Gehäuseteils 1 um die Kopfkreise der Stirnräder 6 und 11 herum sowie von axialen Dichtflächen 9, 10, 16 und 17 dicht umschlossen wird und in den der Pumpeneinlass 3 und ein Verbindungskanal zum Pumpenauslass 4 je zu einer Seite der Stirnräder 6 und 11 münden. Als axiale Dichtflächen 9, 10, 16 und 17 werden im Sinne der Erfindung diejenigen Flächen des Gehäuses 1, 2 bzw. des Kolbens 14, 15 verstanden, die jeweils Stirnflächen der Stirnräder 6 und 11 unmittelbar dicht gegenüberliegen. Sie dichten den Pumpenförderraum in axialer Richtung ab und trennen dessen Niederdruckseite und Hochdruckseite voneinander bzw. verhindern einen Kurzschluss.
In den Figuren 2 und 3 sind die axialen Dichtflächen 9 und 10 für das drehangetriebene Stirnrad 6 in einer Draufsicht dargestellt. Die axiale Dichtfläche 9 wird durch die freie Stirnfläche des Sockels 5 des Deckels 2 gebildet. Der Sockel 5 ist in Figur 3 auch in einer Ansicht auf den Dichtsteg 21 dargestellt. Die axiale Dichtfläche 10 wird gegenüberliegend in dem Gehäuseteil 1 gebildet. Draufsichten auf die axialen Dichtflächen 16 und 17 für das Stirnrad 11 sind in Figur 4 enthalten.
Die axiale Dichtfläche 9 ist eine Kreisringfläche mit einem äußeren Durchmesser, der dem Durchmesser des Kopfkreises des Stirnrads 6 entspricht. Sie weist eine einfach plane Oberfläche auf, in die beidseits eines Dichtstegs 21 je eine Tasche 22 und 23 eingearbeitet ist. Der Dichtsteg 21 ragt im zusammengebauten Zustand der Pumpe in die Zahnlücke des tiefsten Zahneingriffs der Stimräder 6 und 11 hinein und stellt die Trennung der Niederdruckseite und der Hochdruckseite über den Zahneingriff hinweg sicher.
Die Taschen 22 und 23 sind zum äußeren Umfangsrand der axialen Dichtfläche 9 hin offen. Sie werden je durch zwei winklig zueinander stehende Steuerkanten, an denen die axiale Dichtfläche 9 zur jeweiligen Tasche 22 und 23 hin senkrecht oder leicht abgeschrägt abfällt, begrenzt. Die Länge des Dichtstegs 21, gemessen von der Höhe des Schnittbereichs der Steuerkanten der Tasche 22 und des auf gleicher Höhe liegenden Schnittbereichs der Steuerkanten der Tasche 23 bis zum äußeren Umfangsrand der Dichtfläche 4, der gleichzeitig den äußeren Stegrand bildet, entspricht in etwa der Zahnhöhe der Stirnräder.
Die Tiefen T1 und T2 der Taschen 22 und 23 bzw. die Höhe von deren Steuerkanten beträgt mindestens ein Zwanzigstel und höchstens ein Fünftel der Maximallänge des Eingriffs der Stirnräder 6 und 11. An ihrem Grund sind die Taschen 22 und 23 von ihren Steuerkanten bis zu ihren offenen Rändern hin einfach plan. Die Tiefe T2 der Tasche 23 auf der Niederdruckseite ist vorzugsweise geringer als die Tiefe T1 der Tasche 22 auf der Hochdruckseite. Im Ausführungsbeispiel ist T1 ein Achtel und T2 ein Zehntel der maximalen Eingriffslänge der Stirnräder 6 und 11.
Gemessen an der Fläche des Kreisrings zwischen dem Kopfkreis des Stirnrads 6 und dem Innendurchmesser des Stirnrads 6 beträgt der Flächenanteil der Tasche 22 auf der Hochdruckseite mindestens 5 % und höchstens 20 % dieser Fläche des vollen, nicht durchbrochenen Kreisrings, wobei als Fläche der Tasche 22 die gesamte Fläche zwischen dem oberen Rand der begrenzenden Steuerkanten und dem äußeren Umfangsrand des genannten Kreisrings zugrunde gelegt ist. Die Tasche 23 auf der Niederdruckseite ist demgegenüber kleiner, wobei ihr in gleicher Weise definierter Flächenanteil an der Kreisringgesamtfläche zwischen 5 und 15 % beträgt. Die bei der Tasche 22 ausgenommene Fläche ist gegenüber der ausgenommenen Fläche der Tasche 23 bei gleicher Länge der den Dichtsteg 21 begrenzenden Steuerkante deshalb größer, weil die zum Dichtsteg 21 winkelig verlaufende zweite Steuerkante bei der Tasche 22 stumpfwinkliger zur Steuerkante am Dichtsteg 21 verläuft als die entsprechende Steuerkante der Tasche 23. Die Tasche 22 überdeckt von dem äußeren Umfangsrand der axialen Dichtfläche 9 dadurch einen längeren Randabschnitt als die Tasche 23.
Bei den Taschen 25 und 26 der gegenüberliegenden Dichtfläche 10 (Fig. 2) gilt das gleiche. Im zusammengebauten Zustand liegen sich die formgleichen Taschen 22 und 25 der Hochdruckseite und die formgleichen Taschen 23 und 26 der Niederdruckseite des Pumpenförderraums exakt gegenüber.
In Figur 4 sind die Zylinderkörper 14 und 15 einzeln in Draufsichten auf ihre axialen Dichtflächen 16 und 17 und je in einem Längsschnitt dargestellt. Der Zylinderköper 15 ist zusätzlich in einer Draufsicht auf seine der Druckfeder 20 zugewandte äußere Stirnfläche abgebildet.
Der den Hochdruckraum 18 abdichtende Zylinderkörper 14 ist an seiner nicht dargestellten, dem Hochdruckraum 18 zugewandten Stirnfläche einfach plan. An der äußeren Mantelfläche ist im Bereich seines Dichtstegs 27 über die gesamte Länge des Zylinderkörpers 14 ein Zylindersegment ausgenommen. Im zusammengebauten Zustand der Pumpe durchdringen sich in diesem ausgenommenen Bereich die Verzahnungen der Stirnräder 6 und 11. Gleichzeitig dient die Ausnehmung als Verdrehsicherung für den Kolben 14, 15, indem der Zylinderkörper 14 damit am Sockel 5 anliegend entlanggleitet. Die Ausbildung der axialen Dichtfläche 16 mit dem Dichtsteg 27 und insbesondere die Ausbildung der Taschen 28 und 29 entspricht derjenigen der axialen Dichtfläche 9 und deren Taschen.
Das gleiche gilt für die axiale Dichtfläche 17 des Zylinderkörpers 15, der im unteren Teil der Figur 4 abgebildet ist. An seiner von dem Stirnrad 11 abgewandten, äußeren Stirnfläche ist der Zylinderkörper 15 als Ringtopf mit einem umlaufenden Ringkanal ausgebildet, der als Führung für die Druckfeder 20 dient.

Claims (5)

  1. Außenzahnradpumpe mit Fördervolumenbegrenzung, die Pumpe umfassend
    a) ein Gehäuse (1, 2),
    b) wenigstens ein drehangetriebenes Zahnradpaar mit zwei in Eingriff befindlichen Stirnrädern (6, 11), die mit Mantelflächen des Gehäuses (1, 2) und axialen Dichtflächen (9, 10, 16, 17) einen Förderraum bilden, der eine mit einem Pumpeneinlass (3) verbundene Niederdruckseite und eine mit einem Pumpenauslass (4) verbundene Hochdruckseite aufweist, und
    c) einen Kolben (13, 14, 16), der als Drehlagerung für ein Stirnrad (11) des Zahnradpaars dient und zur Begrenzung des Fördervolumens der Pumpe zusammen mit diesem Stirnrad (11) durch Beaufschlagung mit Fluid der Hochdruckseite gegen die Kraft eines Rückstellelements (20) relativ zu dem anderen Stirnrad (6) des Zahnradpaars verschoben wird,
    d) wobei in wenigstens einer axialen Dichtfläche (9) an einen Dichtsteg (21) der Dichtfläche (9) grenzend wenigstens zwei Taschen (22, 23) ausgebildet sind, von denen eine erste Tasche (22) den Pumpenauslass (4) und die andere, zweite Tasche (23) den Pumpeneinlass (3) mit einem Bereich tiefsten Zahneingriffs der Stirnräder (6, 11) verbindet,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
    e) die wenigstens zwei Taschen (22, 23), bezogen auf die axiale Dichtfläche (9), unterschiedliche Tiefen (T1, T2) aufweisen, wobei die Tiefe (T2) der zweiten Tasche (23) geringer ist als die Tiefe (T1) der ersten Tasche (22).
  2. Außenzahnradpumpe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine maximale Länge des Zahneingriffs der Stimräder (6, 11) das Fünf- bis Zwanzigfache der Tiefe der ersten Tasche (22) oder der zweiten Tasche (23) beträgt.
  3. Außenzahnradpumpe nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die erste Tasche (22), auf der Höhe der Dichtfläche (9) gemessen, eine Fläche einnimmt, die 5 % bis 20 % einer Fläche ausmacht, die von dem an die Dichtfläche (9) grenzenden Stirnrad (6) überstrichen wird.
  4. Außenzahnradpumpe nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jede der axialen Dichtflächen (9, 10, 16, 17) je einen Dichtsteg (21, 24, 27, 30) mit daran grenzenden Taschen (22, 25, 28, 31) auf der Hochdruckseite des Förderraums aufweist.
  5. Außenzahnradpumpe nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jede der axialen Dichtflächen (9, 10, 16, 17) je einen Dichtsteg (21, 24, 27, 30) mit daran grenzenden Taschen (23, 26, 29, 32) auf der Niederdruckseite des Förderraums aufweist.
