Definitions
- the present invention relates to a foldable signboard.
- the invention relates more particularly to a road sign road, vertical, mobile and foldable.
- a road sign Temporary includes a substrate and a support including all elements allowing the installation of the road sign on site.
- the substrate serves as a support for the graphic element, the pictogram or the text that translates the information.
- the supports must allow a good visibility of the road signs. They must ensure good stability to the whole to withstand bad weather or passing vehicles. Moreover, the supports must allow easy handling. Some of these supports are constituted by foldable feet. The signs of this type used to date are either not stable enough or are difficult. Folding and unfolding the feet is usually not easy to execute.
- the present invention therefore aims to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art by providing a foldable signboard whose implementation place by foot deployment and folding are simple and fast, while ensuring good stability.
- the removable sign includes a panel with two main faces and foldable feet, two holding plates secured to the panel, the main faces of the plates, with holes, being parallel to each other and perpendicular to the faces of the panel, the ends of two feet, which are U-shaped with a base and two branches, being bent and each positioned in one of said holes, said legs being foldable, in the closed position, against the main faces of the panel or be deployed and kept secure in open position through means blocking means arranged on the holding plates and release means for releasing both feet of the locking means, as known from document FR-A-1473068, characterized in that each unlocking means acts simultaneously on each end of each of the two feet which articulate on the same respective holding plate allowing to release simultaneously the two feet of the locking means.
- the locking means are constituted side edges on the outer faces of the plates of maintaining, behind which the branches of the feet are positioned in stop when the feet are in the open position.
- each unlocking means allows to release elastically locking means the branches of the feet of which the ends are positioned in the holes of the same plate of maintenance, these branches being intended to come each against one of the faces opposite main of the panel.
- the unlocking means are consisting of two parallelepiped mobile unlocking plates, each disposed against the outer face of a holding plate and having holes through which the curved ends of the feet pass, the pivoting of the release plates relative to their lower sides in pressing on the outer face of the retaining plates allows to release the branches of the feet relative to the locking means.
- the upper side of the plates of release comprises at least one tongue protruding from holding and allowing to rotate the release plates.
- the branches make an angle greater than 90 ° with the base and have a rectilinear portion in contact with the unlocking plates when feet are bent or deployed in position blocked.
- the holding plates have a bottom edge, the lateral sides of which limit the deployment of feet and whose underside serves as a support surface when the feet are folded.
- the base of the feet is folded so as to what the elbows connecting the base to the branches constitute the zones of contact with the ground when the feet are in the extended position.
- the branches of the feet are held in closed position by the locking means.
- the panel (1) is formed of a flat plate variable geometric shape.
- the panel is, for example, formed of a triangular metal plate which constitutes the substrate of a panel of road sign.
- the panel has two main faces, one face main front (2) and a rear main face (3).
- the front main face (2) includes road information.
- the underside of the panel (1), intended for to be parallel to the ground, is called base (4) of the panel.
- Two plates of maintaining (5, 6) are secured to the base (4) of the panel, the faces main two holding plates being parallel to each other and perpendicular to the main faces (3, 4) of the panel.
- the faces of the holding plates, facing in opposite directions, are called inner faces (7), and the other faces are called faces outside (8).
- Each holding plate may consist of a plate having the shape of a regular trapezium, with an upper side or a small base (9), a bottom or a large base (10) and two sides (11) lateral or oblique connecting the bases (9, 10).
- the plates are held fast with the base (4) of the panel by their small base (9).
- the base of the panel is positioned by example, in notches formed on the small base of the plates of maintenance.
- the two holding plates are connected, so fixed, by a central piece (12) parallelepiped.
- the base of the panel can rest on the upper side of the center piece and on the small base of two holding plates at their notches.
- the central piece (12) has a bracket (13).
- One end of the bracket is fixed by a weld, for example, on a lateral face of the central piece, (12) so that the other end is positioned against the main face rear (3) of the sign (1).
- the panel and plates thus can be assembled together by this bracket at medium, for example, screws or rivets.
- the holding plates comprise locking means of feet.
- the oblique sides (11) of the holding plates have, for example, for example, a rim, called a lateral rim (14).
- the side edges of a holding plate are oriented in the same direction as the outer faces (8) of said holding plate.
- the side flanges are formed by for example, over the entire length of oblique sides by folding.
- the height the lateral rim varies by increasing from the small base to the large base.
- the large base (10) also has a rim, called the bottom rim (15), oriented in the same direction as the outer face (8) of the plate and perpendicular to it for example.
- This flange (15) has a side longitudinal and two lateral sides (16, 17).
- This lower rim (15) is not formed on the whole of the large base (10) and it does not extend to ends of the large base (10), so that the lateral sides (16, 17) of this lower rim are at a distance from the lateral flanges (10).
- Each holding plate has two holes (18). These holes cross the plate from side to side and are arranged symmetrically by relative to the main plane of symmetry of the trapezoidal plate.
- a movable unlocking plate (19) is disposed against the face outer (8) of each holding plate (5, 6).
- Each plate of unlocking is, for example, trapezoidal shape.
- the symmetry plan of the release plates (19) is substantially coincident with that of the plates holding (5, 6).
- the dimensions of the unlocking plates (19) are lower than those of the holding plates.
- the small base (21) of the plates of unlocking is parallel to the base (4) of the panel and can be positioned against this one.
- the small base (21) has at least one tongue (22) which protrudes from the small base of the holding plates.
- the small base has, for example, two unlocking tabs arranged on either side of the panel (1).
- the unlocking plates each have two holes (20) crossing them from one side to the other.
- the holes (20) of the plates unlocking can be positioned with respect to the holes (18) of the plates keeping.
- the panel has two feet, one foot rear (23) and a front foot (24).
- Each foot is constituted, for example, U-shaped cylindrical metal bar.
- the branches (25, 26) of the foot are inclined and the angle between the legs (25, 26) and the base (27) is less than 90 °, so that the distance separating the free ends of the branches is less than the length of the base (27).
- the ends of branches (25, 26) extend by a portion, said flat portion (28).
- the flat portions of the branches of one foot are substantially parallel between they.
- the free ends of the flat portions (28) are folded perpendicular to each other, and are called the extremities curved (29) branches.
- each curved end (29) of a foot is engaged on a holding plate by a bore (18) thereof, in passing through a bore (20) of the unlocking plate (19).
- the holes of the holding plate and the release plate, used for both curved ends of a foot, are of course aligned.
- the distance between the flat portions is smaller than that separating the outer faces of the plates deblocking.
- the feet can be held in two positions, a position closed or folded and an open or deployed position.
- closed position such represented in FIG. 4, the feet are substantially vertical and parallel to the sign, the base (27) of the feet being able to be contact with one of the main faces (2, 3) of the panel.
- the flat portions (28) are in contact with the outer face (19) of the release plates and exert an elastic force on these outer faces.
- the outer faces unlocking plates are pinched between the flat portions of the branches feet.
- the friction forces generated by the elasticity of the branches and the vertical position of the feet are sufficient to hold the feet in closed position.
- Each foot can be deployed and brought into position opened by a movement of rotation of the foot around the axis passing through the curved ends (29) of the branches of said foot.
- each branch In unfolded position, such as represented in FIGS. 1 and 2, the flat portion (28) of each branch is in contact with the holding plates and is positioned between a flange lateral (14) and the lateral side (16) of the lower rim (15) of the large base (10) of the holding plate.
- the flat portions of the branches exert a elastic pressure on the outer faces of the release plates.
- the lateral sides of the lower rim (15) make it possible to limit the deployment of feet and thus prevent any movement of the feet tending to bring the bases of the feet towards each other.
- the lateral flanges (14) prevent the feet to close, the distance between the end of the side rim and the plane of the outer face of the plate being, of course, greater than the thickness of the unlocking plate.
- the distance between a lateral rim and a lateral side of the flange of the large base of the holding plate is substantially equal or greater than the diameter of the flat portion of the branches of the feet.
- the legs are blocked by the side edges, the unlocking of the feet, to bring the foot back to the closed position, is effected by exercising manually pressing on the inside of the tabs (22) of each release plate. This force exerted on the outer face of the tongue makes it possible to perform a rotational movement of the plate of unblocking, the large base of said plate serving as a pivot for this movement.
- each means of release consisting of an unlocking plate in the embodiment, acts on each end branch of each of the two feet (23, 24) intended to articulate on the same holding plate (5), respectively (6). Simultaneous operation on both unlocking plates thus allows to unlock both feet.
- each unlocking means makes it possible to elastically release the locking means the branches of feet whose ends are positioned in the holes of the same plate of maintenance, these branches being intended to come each against one of the faces opposite main of the panel.
- the feet in the unlocked position are represented in figure 3.
- the feet can thus be brought back into position closed by a movement of rotation of the feet relative to the axis passing through the curved ends of the branches of the foot.
- the large base of the plate serving as a pivot for the rotational movement of the release plate, the force exerted on the tabs, necessary to move the branches is not important.
- the angles between the plane of symmetry of the plates and the branches of the front and rear feet are substantially identical.
- Two feet with similar branches length allow to maintain, in a stable manner, the signaling vertically.
- the angle defined above and the length of feet are determined in order to provide a satisfactory balance of the panel on his feet.
- the locking and unlocking system of the feet Allows you to install and uninstall a panel very easily.
- the feet being in the closed position, as shown in FIG. 4, the panel (1) can be placed on the floor.
- the lower edges (15) of the large bases of the plates of maintenance then serve as a support surface.
- a first foot, the back foot, for example, is unfolded manually by bringing the planar portions onto the side edges of the holding plates, until the base of this foot rests on the ground.
- the flat portions of the branches are positioned on the side edges of the holding plates.
- the same operation is performed for the front foot, the feet (23, 24) are then in an intermediate position shown in Figure 5.
- the panel is then entered by the operator and raised vertically. This movement is represented by the arrow bearing the reference (30) in Figure 5.
- each foot can be bent so that the elbows connecting the base to the branches constitute the areas of contact with the ground when the feet are in the extended position.
- This conformation of the base allows, on the one hand, to stiffen the feet and on the other hand, a better balance of road sign on uneven ground.
- the distance between ends of the base remains greater than that separating the flat portions of the foot, to allow the flat portions to exert an elastic pressure on the release plates when the feet are in the open position or closed.
- the blocking and unlocking system according to the invention can adapt on panels of variable geometric shape.
- the two plates of maintenance can be assembled, for example, by a central bar and be fixed by means of a tab on the rear face of a circular panel.
- the Release plates described above are a non-standard example limiting means for unlocking the feet. Any means of unlocking feet to release the feet of the blocking means also makes part of the invention.
- the height of the lateral flanges to near the small bases of the holding plates is greater than the thickness of the release plates.
- the feet can thus be maintained in the folded position, the branches abutting against the lateral flanges.
- the locking means constituted by the lateral flanges in the present mode of realization thus make it possible to block at the same time the feet in open positon and in closed position.
- the height of the edges may be provided to allow a manual unfolding of the feet.
- An unlocking system similar to that previously described to unlock the feet in the deployed position, can also be provided to unlock the feet in the folded position. Unlocking the feet in the folded position can, for example, be effected by a movement of release plates, described above, using small bases as pivot.
- the unlocking means, constituted by the plates of unlocking can thus both enable the simultaneous unlocking of the feet.
