Definitions

  • the invention relates to a latch closure for mounting in a provided with a rectangular cutout thin wall, such as metal door, which latch closure comprises a first rectangular and shaped handle recess with a bottom and side walls that it can be latched in the rectangular cutout in the thin wall, and a latch and a second recessed grip with a bottom and as a (first) background surface for displacing the second recessed grip against the force of a spring serving side wall slidably supports, wherein the first recessed grip on at least one of the side walls has a protruding over the outer wall plane nose , which can shrink when pressing the first recessed grip in the cutout of the thin wall in the wall plane against spring force and forms a surface that can create close to the impressions to the inner surface or edge of the cut-clamping, the first recessed grip on the bolt the side facing wall forms an opening through which the bolt extends through slidably, wherein the first recessed grip forms a cover which projects outwardly on all sides over the side walls of the first recessed
  • Such a bolt closure is substantially known from WO 98 30 774 A.
  • Such a bolt lock can be engaged in a correspondingly dimensioned opening of a door panel, whereupon then the door or flap can be closed, wherein the bolt lays behind a frame or a frame to which the door is hinged.
  • a bolt moves within a housing against the force of a spring, which occurs automatically due to the inclined surface of the bolt when you press the door or flap this sliding movement.
  • the spring pushes the bolt in the opposite direction and thereby locks the door to the door frame.
  • the disadvantage here is that the intended for receiving the forces when opening the door surface appears suitable only to a limited extent as Hintergriff Design. There is a risk that slips in the binding of the door or the flap or the window of the fingers of the inclined surface.
  • the closure described above has the advantage that it can be mounted in a door leaf, without the rear side would have to be accessible.
  • the assembly requires accessibility of the rear side of the door leaf to set a front-inserted through a corresponding opening in the door leaf closure on the rear by means of a nut or an attachable spring member.
  • latch is supported by a trough held in the first (outer) trough in the thin wall against spring force slidably mounted second (inner) recessed grip is formed.
  • the mobility of the bar carrying the trough is no longer affected by the thickness of the sheet holding the outer trough, but the arrangement can be such that it can be securely fastened in thin walls with a relatively large variation in wall thickness.
  • the trough on the side wall facing away from the latch on the outer wall plane projecting nose, which recede against the spring force when depressing the trough in the sheet metal section in the wall plane can and forms a tip of the nose, which creates clamping after pressing against the sheet-metal wall inside.
  • the trough in the rectangular section of the thin wall can be snapped in from the front, without the rear of the thin wall would have to be accessible.
  • the trough does not need in the rectangular cutout, as also described in the prior art, see the Fig. 1-15, to be displaced, so that with relatively large spring forces and friction values, the trough can be held in the wall, which the stability of Arrangement benefits.
  • the second trough, which can be slidably received within the first trough, can be exchanged if necessary, for example, to allow an adaptation of the latch return to different thicknesses of the door frame.
  • the first (outer) trough can be exchanged if very different door strength ranges are to be detected.
  • the first trough forms a lid which protrudes on all sides beyond the side walls of the trough and rests after insertion of the trough in the opening in the thin wall on the breakthrough edge.
  • the bottom of the first outer trough or bar may, as shown in Figure 31 of the prior art, have an aperture into which an extension projecting from the bottom of the second inner trough extends so as to allow the thrust movement of the second inner trough in the first one. limited to outer trough. In this way it is avoided that the bolt by z. B. the spring force u. U. is completely pushed out of the first, outer trough.
  • the object of the invention is to develop a bolt closure of the type mentioned in that it is easier to operate while maintaining the above advantages.
  • the latch is integrally formed by the second trough, and that the lid has an opening for passage in the second recessed grip, which opening is arranged such that it is displaced against the force of a spring second recessed grip a second , in the lumen of the first recessed grip reaching into the rear lid surface formed by the lid for opening the metal door makes or forms.
  • the first recessed grip forms at the upper end of the side wall facing away from the latch an edge that extends into the lumen of the first well as far as that, when moved against the force of a spring second recessed grip the second, extending into the lumen of the first recess Schugriff Structure Opening the metal door or the like. Is formed. (Claim 2).
  • the two opposing side walls of the first recessed grip which expediently form a sliding guide for the second recessed grip, according to a development on two perpendicular away from the lower level of the lid leading incisions which enclose a tongue with holding surfaces, which are close to the lower level of the lid pass.
  • a retaining lug is present on both sides of the first recessed grip, which benefits the stability of the arrangement.
  • the side wall of the first recessed grip opposite the latch can form perpendicularly away from the plane of the lid incisions enclosing a tongue that extends to near the lower level of the lid.
  • the attachment takes place at a different location, but also can ensure sufficient stability. (Claim 4).
  • a compression spring such as coil spring is arranged between the outer surface of the wall remote from the latch wall of the second recessed grip and the inner surface of the bolt facing away from the wall of the first recessed grip.
  • a compression spring such as coil spring
  • the second recessed grip is pressed into its closed position, so that the latch works like a door latch (claim 7).
  • a projection for receiving one end of the coil spring is provided (claim 8). This approach may have a round shape, or, which is favorable for injection-technical reasons, represent a cross in cross section.
  • An approach projecting from the bottom of the second recessed grip and extending into an opening in the first recessed grip expediently has, in longitudinal section, the shape of a ramp whose oblique ramp line is directed away from the latch. This means that the two recessed grips can be mounted inside each other without the need for special handling, but then locked into each other, so that they can not fall apart during transport or installation in a door leaf. (Claim 9 and claim 10).
  • the spring which supports the latch action of the bolt, can also serve to support the tongue, which holds the first recessed grip inside the thin wall, so that the risk is reduced that their spring force is reduced too much over time, which in some plastics could be the case (claim 12).
  • a latch closure 10 can be seen, which can be mounted in a thin wall, such as metal door 12 or flap, wherein the latch closure 10 from a first, outer recessed grip 14, which can be latched into a rectangular cutout 16 in the thin wall 12 is, and a second, inner recessed grip or locking device 18 which in the first, outer recessed grip 14 against the Force of a spring 20 in and against the direction of the arrow 22 (Fig. 1C) is slidably mounted.
  • the outer recessed grip or the housing 14 has, according to FIG. 1A on the right side shown there on the outer wall plane 24 projecting nose 26, which upon depression of the trough 14 in the cutout 16 of the thin wall 12, see the arrow 28 in this Wall plane 24 against the force of a spring, this can also serve the spring 20, can retreat and which forms a nose surface 30 which presses against the rear surface or the edge of the cutout 16 of the thin wall 12 after pressing in, as shown in FIG. 1B can be seen.
  • the first trough or housing 14 forms an opening 32 (see also FIG. 2C) on the left-hand side of FIG. 1A, from which the locking device 18 protrudes, through which the second or inner recessed grip 18 passes.
  • the first recessed grip or the housing 14 further forms a cover 34 which projects over the side walls 36, 38, 40, 42, see Figs. 2A, 2B and 2C, respectively, so that after the introduction of the housing 14 in the cutout 16 of FIG. 1A covering this edge projecting edge cover the edge of the cutout 16, as Fig. 1B can be clearly seen.
  • the lid 34 further has an opening 44 which is sufficiently large to communicate with z. B. pass a finger and to allow a penetration into the second, inner trough or latch member 18, ie in the designated in Fig. 3A with 46 recess interior.
  • the arrangement of the opening 44 in the cover 34 is such that the rear trough wall 48 is located in the region of this opening 44 according to FIG. 1B and can therefore be touched with the passage of a finger and pressed against this wall 48.
  • the second trough 18 within the first trough 14 slidably displaced against the force of the spring 20 until the position shown in FIG. 1C is reached.
  • the rear, lower outer edge 50 of the second trough 18 abuts against the slightly inclined lower inner wall 52 of the first trough 14, whereby a stop in the movement in the direction of arrow 22 is formed.
  • the latch 54 is released from a rear surface 56 formed by a door frame 58 or the like.
  • the door leaf 12 from the door frame 58 (or the flap 12 from a machine housing 58 or the like.) Take out or swing out, as shown in FIG. 1D with the arrow 60.
  • the two opposite side walls 36, 38 of the first trough 14 form a sliding guide for the second inner trough 18, by the inner surfaces of the side walls 36, 38 of the first, outer trough to the outer surfaces of the respective side walls 66, 68 of the second inner trough 18 (see Fig. 3B) attack.
  • the from the front ends The walls 36, 38 of the first, outer trough 14 formed remaining "sidewalls" 42 carry obliquely upward in the direction of the thin wall 12 extending lugs 70 which terminate near the lower level 72 of the thin wall and thereby the first, outer trough 14th hold within the cutout 16.
