Abstract

Es handelt sich um ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Planheitsmessung von Bändern, insbesondere Metallbändern, im Zuge des Durchlaufens von beispielsweise Bandbehandlungsanlagen. Dabei wird das durchlaufende Band mit einer vorgegebenen Bandzugkraft (FZ) beaufschlagt, wobei mittels einer in einem Meßbereich (M) in vorgegebenem Abstand (A) von der Bandoberfläche angeordneten Meßvorrichtung (6) Bandunplanheiten detektiert werden. Um bandzugbedingte Fehler bei der Planheitsmessung größtenteils ausschließen zu können, wird die Bandzugkraft (FZ) vor dem oder in dem Meßbereich (M) gezielt verringert.
