Claims (5)
- Arrangement for rail vehicles, consisting of a mechanical central buffer coupling on which an electric cable coupling is held in a longitudinally displaceable manner and comprising at least one plug-in connector (3) connected by means of a connecting cable (2) and arranged at the separation point of the coupling of each rail vehicle to be coupled, characterised in that the cable coupling further comprises a compact, longitudinally displaceable adapter box (1) arranged between the respective plug-in connectors (3) of the coupled rail vehicles in the coupled state and on only one of the respective plug-in connectors (3) in the uncoupled state and containing the required electrical connection lines (4) for connecting the connecting cables (2) of the rail vehicles to be coupled, that the connection lines (4) for connecting the connecting cables (2) to the rail vehicles on the correct side and in a functionally correct manner are crossed over within the adapter box (1) in such a manner that a connecting cable (2) arranged on the left of the vertical longitudinal centre plane of the central buffer coupling (6a, 6b) and associated with one end of the adapter box (1) is arranged in mirror symmetry on the right of the vertical longitudinal centre plane at the opposite end of the adapter box (1) and connecting cable (2) arranged on the right of the vertical longitudinal centre plane is arranged in a corresponding manner on the left at the other end of the adapter box (1), and that the connection of the connecting cables (2) from the adapter box (1) to the two rail vehicles to be coupled is effected by means of unambiguously marked plug-in connectors (3) of fixed cables each with at least one plug-in connector (3).
- Arrangement according to claim 1, characterised in that the longitudinal displaceability of the adapter box (1) is provided by a two-part longitudinal guide (5), the first part (5a) of which is associated with the mechanical central buffer coupling (6a) and the second part (5b) of which is associated with the second mechanical central buffer coupling (6b) of the rail vehicle to be coupled, in such a manner that the adapter box (1) can either be displaced axially and longitudinally on both sides of the separation point of the coupling or arranged in the plane of the separation point of the central buffer couplings (6a, 6b).
- Arrangement according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that the central position of the adapter box (1) at the separation point of the mechanical central buffer couplings (6a, 6b) and/or the displaced positions on the longitudinal guide (5) are secured by a locking device (7).
- Arrangement according to one of the preceding claims 1 to 3, characterised in that both parts (5a, 5b) of the longitudinal guide (5) are set back relative to the vertical plane at the separation point of the coupling, thereby forming a gap (8).
- Arrangement according to one of the preceding claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the adapter box (1) and the longitudinal guide (5) are designed in such a manner that the adapter box (1) can be removed completely from the longitudinal guide (5) if necessary.
