    Claims (17)

    1. Inking unit in a rotary printing machine having ink applicator rollers (12; 13) and a plate cylinder (11), at least two immediately adjacent ink applicator rollers (12; 13) being inked directly from the central roller (2) by a central, ink-carrying roller (2), characterized in that the ink applicator rollers (12; 13) are additionally inked indirectly a second time by means of an inking roller train (20; 25) starting from the central roller (2).

      in that
      b) in addition to a direct ink application from the central roller (2), a second ink flow bypass (E) is provided, fed by the ink application from the central roller (2), as seen counter to the production rotation direction of the central roller (2), onto the second ink applicator roller (13).
    3. Inking unit of a rotary printing machine, in which printing ink is supplied continuously to a central roller (2) rotating in the production direction, and the latter discharges the said ink to immediately adjacent first (12) and second ink applicator rollers (13), characterized in that
      a) a first "series" ink flow (F) is provided, fed from the ink application from the central roller (2), as seen in the production rotation direction of the central roller (2), onto the first ink applicator roller (12),
      in that
      b) in addition to a direct ink application from the central roller (2), a second ink flow bypass (G) is provided, fed by the ink application from the central roller (2), as seen in the production rotation direction of the central roller (2), onto the second ink applicator roller (13).
    4. Inking unit according to Claims 2 and 3, characterized in that each of the ink flows (D; E; F; G) is arranged such that it can be connected and disconnected as desired.
    5. Inking unit according to Claims 2 to 4, characterized in that the ink flows (D; E; F; G) are arranged such that they can be interrupted as desired.
    6. Inking unit according to Claim 6, characterized in that a second applicator roller (13) is provided, and in that it is arranged such that it can be pivoted about the axis of rotation (10) from an operating position (A), in which it touches the plate cylinder (11), into a service position (S) opposite the plate cylinder (11).
    9. Inking unit according to Claim 7 or 8, characterized in that the two ink applicator rollers (12; 13) can be pivoted independently of each other.

    12. Inking unit according to Claim 7 or 11, characterized in that the inking rollers (16 or 17) are arranged such that they can be set on and off the central roller (2) as desired.
    13. Inking unit according to Claim 7 or 11, characterized in that the rider rollers (29 or 31) are arranged such that they can be brought into rolling contact with the inking roller (16 or 17) adjacent to them and the ink applicator roller (12 or 13).
    14. Inking unit according to Claim 7 or 11, characterized in that the rider roller (29 or 31) can be set on and off the inking roller (16 or 17) and can be brought out of contact with the ink applicator roller (16 or 17).
    15. Inking unit according to Claim 7 or 11, characterized in that the rider roller (29 or 31) can be set on and off the ink applicator roller (12 or 13) and can be brought out of contact with the inking roller (16 or 17).
    16. Inking unit according to Claims 1, 2, 3, 6, 7 or 8, characterized in that the ink applicator device (3) is a chamber-type doctor or an ink fountain with inking zones or an ink spraying device or an ink-pump inking unit.
    17. Inking unit according to Claims 1, 2, 3, 6, 7 or 8, characterized in that the central roller (2) is an engraved roller or a roller with a plastic cover or resilient cover or ceramic cover or glass cover.
