- These known and used for this purpose sockets are used in a variety of mounting receptacles, with additional measures may need to be taken for a separate attachment of the socket and cable trapping.
- EP-A-0 569 918 discloses a bending mold with holder and interceptor for a female connector according to the preamble of claim 1. Further prior art is known from US-A-5,746,610, WO-A-9410723 and EP-A- 0 525,518 known.
- the present invention is based on the problem to provide a novel support and Abfangung for a socket of a plug system in communication and data networks.
- the interception device has a clamping slot in which the cable sheath can be fixed and the cable shield can be electrically contacted.
- the recording of the bending mold part includes the side of the socket on the introduction side with a leg and with rasters having bends, the inclusion in the introduction side has a plug shape adapted cutout.
- the interception device causes a strain relief for the cable and at the same time a contacting of the cable shield without the use of tools.
- the advantage of the holder and interceptor according to the invention consists in particular in the fact that the commercially available connector systems for communication and data networks can be taken in a simple manner easy to install and used in the generally existing installation systems.
- the bending mold part of the invention serves to provide the socket with locking elements with which the combined component can then be fixed in mounting plates.
- This mounting plate is designed according to the invention so that they can be used in turn in the commercial installation systems, for example in flush boxes.
- the fixation is chosen so that the provided with plugs connection cable, for example, the RJ-45 connector described above, can be introduced easily, possibly also obliquely pointing downwards.
- an advantage of the invention is that at the same time the interlocking device for the incoming data cable is formed on the bending mold, so that no separate component is needed.
- the fixation of the cable and the exposed in this area Ka-umbrellas electrically contacted, so that in a process, the fixation and the contacting takes place. This is done by inserting the cable end in a clamping slot of the interceptor. With angled data cables inserted, the cable can still be held with a cable clamp that is threaded over a tapered portion of the interceptor.
- the receptacle for the socket on the bending mold is bent, for example, before mounting, so that the socket from the top is easy to use while pinching and contacting the data cable end or cable shield in the interceptor. Subsequently, the Anformung the bending mold part and latching of the locking elements in the provided locking recesses of the socket takes place. In a further embodiment, the fixation of the bending mold part takes place at the socket with lateral bends, which also contain locking elements. After complete installation of the socket in the bending mold part of this completed component is snapped into a shield housing and fixed. This entire arrangement, consisting of the socket, the bending mold and the shield housing is then snapped onto a mounting plate. An aperture is placed over it to cover the arrangement in a protective way. The aperture is provided with outlets, which allows depending on the embodiment, a straight or oblique insertion of the connector with connection cable.
