Definitions
- the invention relates to a mill for processing or milling of solid materials, in particular solid minerals or mineral mixtures, preferably cement clinker and cement raw materials, having a substantially horizontal axis rotatable cylindrical drum with at least one grinding chamber, wherein on the inner wall of the drum in the circumferential direction extending Mahlbahn is provided, in which at least one rolling element is arranged freely movable, and in the drum designed as a sieve partition is arranged.
- Drum mills of this type are known from DE 36 18 461 A1 and EP 0 245 232 A2.
- the first grinding chamber is an antechamber with at most four steel balls arranged in a groove-shaped running surface whose diameter is approximately 1 m.
- the second grinding chamber is formed as a conventional ball mill with ball piles therein.
- EP 0 245 232 A2 discloses a ball-and-tube mill consisting of two cylindrical chambers, in the first chamber of which a circular ring or a circular disk is used as a grinding body.
- the annulus or disc runs in a groove bottom of the inner liner which lines a portion of the shell of the grinding chamber.
- the flanks forming the groove bottom are formed as part of the inner lining and make it difficult for the grinding body to slide out in the horizontal direction.
- an apertured partition wall is provided to the inner lining 10 then an apertured partition wall is provided.
- cement clinker and cement raw materials are despite the relatively low The degree of comminution and the limited feed grain size are still used today in ball mills.
- Ball mills can be operated relatively easily in a stable state.
- the maintenance and repair costs are relatively low, as well as the investment costs. Further advantages are the operational safety and the availability. These reasons suggest that ball mills are still widely used and still today are the best-selling grinders.
- the object of the invention is to provide a mill in which the disadvantages of the previously known mills are eliminated to a high degree and with which a grinding of coarser material in a more efficient, economical and energy-saving manner without high maintenance and maintenance is possible.
- the mill according to the invention is characterized in that arranged on the outlet side in the grinding chamber a wall projecting into the grinding chamber guide element for freely movable in the grinding path arranged rolling elements for gentle return to the lowest point of the grinding path when the rolling elements has been taken a piece by grinding, is provided.
- a second grinding chamber provided in the drum is designed in a manner known per se as a ball mill, and the dividing wall is arranged between the two grinding chambers.
- a further embodiment of the invention is that the length of the grinding chamber designed as a ball mill at least equal to that of the first grinding chamber.
- these two grinding chambers having mill is also used as the only one chamber comprehensive mill for both final grinding and as Vormahlaggregat.
- the great advantage of the mill according to the invention further consists in the fact that in a simple way existing grinding plants can be retrofitted with such a mill to increase the efficiency of grinding and can be used in a system of successive grinding units.
- FIG. 1 shows a grinding plant with a mill according to the invention and Fig la the inventive mill of Figure 1 on an enlarged scale
- Fig. 2 shows another embodiment of a grinding plant with the mill according to the invention 1 shows another embodiment of the mill according to the invention
- FIG. 4 a shows the mill of FIG. 4 in accordance with the invention.
- FIG show enlarged scale.
- Fig. 1 shows a grinding plant comprising a plurality of bunkers 1 for optionally different ground material, a transport path 2 for the ground material to a mill 3.
- the mill 3 consists of a drum 4 with a grinding chamber 5.
- the drum 4 is set by means of a ring gear 6 about a horizontal axis in a rotational movement.
- a circumferential on the inner wall of the drum 4 in the direction of rotation groove-shaped grinding path 7 is arranged, in which case two consecutive grinding balls 8th roll off.
- the ratio of the depth of the groove-shaped grinding track 7 to the diameter of the grinding ball 8 is in the range between 1: 2 and 1: 3, which may be up to 1:10.
- the millbase fed via the transport path 2 through a feed opening 9 of the grinding chamber 5 is ground by means of the solid grinding ball (s) 8, which is preferably made of steel.
- the grinding ball (s) 8 roll by the rotational movement of the mill 3 in the groove-shaped grinding path 7 and crush the hereby abandoned on the grinding path 7 regrind, preferably the diameter of the grinding ball 8 corresponds approximately to 10 times the diameter of the maximum feed grain.
- partition 10 limits the grinding chamber 5 of an outlet 11. At the partition 10 is projecting into the grinding chamber 5 guide member 12 for freely arranged in the groove-shaped grinding path 7 Mahlkugel (s) 8 provided. A central opening 13 in the partition wall 10 serves the passage of dust-laden gases, which are finally derived by a connected to the outlet 11 line 14.
- the mill 3 can be used both for pre-grinding and for final grinding.
- the crushed material is passed through the outlet 11 to conveyors 15 which further convey the milled material to a separation apparatus 16, e.g. an air classifier, which separates the finished crushed material from the coarse material.
- a separation apparatus 16 e.g. an air classifier, which separates the finished crushed material from the coarse material.
- the comminuted, but still too coarse waste material of the separation apparatus 16 is in turn fed to the grinding circuit of the mill 3 in a system of final grinding.
- the material passes through the grinding cycle until it has the required fineness and is separated from the separating apparatus 16 as finished product.
- the mill 3 can also be used, in particular, as a premilling unit in a system of successive grinding units.
- a premilling unit in contrast to the final grinding that is returned by the separating apparatus 16, still too rough, 2, not entirely supplied to the grinding circuit of the mill, but to a further downstream grinding unit 17, for example a conventional ball mill, which finishes the material pre-shredded by the upstream mill 3 to final fineness.
- the recirculated from the separator 16, still too coarse, pre-shredded material can be up to 100% fed to the downstream grinding unit 17.
- the mill 3 can also be used as a pre-comminution grinding aggregate to an existing or new, downstream grinding unit 17.
- the pre-shredded material is fed directly to the downstream grinding unit 17.
- the material passes through the mill 3, which now serves for pre-shredding, only once.
- the grinding plant according to FIG. 4 essentially corresponds to that according to FIG. 1, but it comprises a mill 3a, which is designed as a two-chamber mill and can be displaced by a toothed rim 6 in rotational movement about a horizontal axis of rotation.
- the one grinding chamber 5 a, into which the feed opening 9 opens, is designed like the grinding chamber 5 of the mill 3 (FIG. 1 a).
- a groove-shaped grinding track 7a revolving around the inner wall of the drum 4a in the direction of rotation is again arranged in the grinding chamber 5a, in which case two grinding balls 8a running one behind the other roll off.
- a dividing wall 10a designed as a sieve separates the first grinding chamber 5a from a second grinding chamber 5b, which is filled with grinding balls 18 corresponding to the known filling levels of a conventional ball mill and having a size of 30 to a maximum of 100 mm.
- the second grinding chamber 5b of the outlet 11 connects.
- the length of the second grinding chamber should be at least as long as that of the first grinding chamber 5a.
- the two-chamber mill 3a can also be used both for the final grinding and as a premilling unit in a system of series-connected grinding units.
