Description

The invention relates to a guide rail intended for urban passenger transport. Because of the limited space on the ground in cities, and especially in the center of old cities, municipalities tend to choose their surface transport over guided types of public transport. These types of transport guarantee a minimal footprint, especially when cornering.
Among these are trams, but also now road vehicles guided by more or less complex guidance systems using for the most part a guide rail serving as a running track for the roller (s) of the governing body. .
Les villes déjà équipées de transports en commun de surface sur rails ou routiers autoguidés ne peuvent envisager de changer d'infrastructure en raison des lourds investissements dont elles ont souvent faitCities already equipped with surface public transport on rails or self-guided roads cannot consider changing their infrastructure because of the heavy investments they have often made
1 ' objet.1. Object.
The invention provides a positive solution to this desire to use existing structures for other types of transport, and in particular the use of road transport means guided on the ground.
The invention therefore has the general aim of transforming the existing rails to make them suitable for serving as guide rails in another guide system, in particular a guide assembly with inclined rollers.
The particular aim is to make the existing rail or rails versatile by using the intermediate zone between the sole and the upper profile to allow guidance by a different system, in particular that of the type with inclined rollers.
To this end, the invention relates to a guide rail having an upper running profile and a base with a fixing sole for mounting on the ground or on a support, characterized in that an intermediate zone extending from the upper running profile to the base of the fixing at least one rolling-guide track of at least one guide roller along the rail.
The advantage of the invention lies in the following advantages. By modifying the existing rail (s), they are made bi or multicompatible, that is to say capable of being used by one or other guidance systems.
The same infrastructure can be used both for the original transport system, but also for other guidance systems.
It may also be suitable for two self-guided means of transport but by different directional bodies.
Above all, it may accept, when it is of the rail type, a self-guided public means of transport of the road type.
With a unique investment, the guide rail according to the invention makes it possible to ensure compatibility with other rail guide systems for the future.
Conventionally, the rails use the upper profile to provide guidance in general by rolling.
The object of the invention is to make the rail versatile by using the other areas available for other guidance by a roller system.
An additional interface is provided in the intermediate part of the rail to also allow guidance, but by a different system. The general inventive idea consists in conferring a versatility compared to different guidance systems and this without modifying the upper part of the rail relating to guide-rolling or simple rolling.

Figures 8 and 9 are cross sections respectively of a complete assembly with two running-guide rails and a complete assembly with two inclined guide rollers shown in front of the tire adjacent to the guided vehicle.
Cette piste de roulement 6 se présente de façon préférentielle sous la forme d'une rampe inclinéeOn a guide rail conventionally comprising an upper profile 1 of rolling or rolling table used for rolling and a base 2 forming a support sole 3 for its attachment to the ground 4 or on a flat support is housed in an intermediate zone 5 extending from the upper profile 1 to the base 2 at least one rolling track 6 for the displacement by rolling of at least one guide roller 7 along the rail. This raceway 6 is preferably in the form of an inclined ramp
8 pratiquée sur le flanc du rail dans la zone intermédiaire 5 définie ci-dessus et ceci en retrait comme le montrent les zones hachurées.8 formed on the side of the rail in the intermediate zone 5 defined above and this set back as shown by the hatched zones.
This ramp cooperates with an inclined guide roller 7 forming part of a guide assembly 9 mounted on a road vehicle of which a wheel with tire 10 is shown in FIGS. 7 and 9. This rolling track can be placed vertically and cooperate with a horizontal roller. It could also be horizontal and cooperate with a vertical roller.
There are shown by way of example two forms of rail section.
First of all, there is a section of rail, the upper part of which is conventionally used for guiding using a roller 11 of the pulley type with groove in square or rectangular profile. The side walls of the groove are intended to prevent derailment.
The intermediate zone of this guide rail is formed by the lower part of the mushroom following the core. It is notched on each side in a general wedge shape 12 to each time form the ramp 8 serving as a rolling track for a guide roller 7 forming part of a specific guide assembly 9 different from that using the upper right roller .
The ramp is inclined along a slope parallel to the axis of the guide roller.
It consists of an upper part of rolling-guide 1 in mushroom conventionally called rolling table used by the wheels or bogies 15 trams. This fungus continues laterally by a transverse linear extension 16 delimiting with the fungus the longitudinal groove 14. It is followed downwards by a core 17 and the fixing sole 3.
According to the invention, the upper part 1 serving as a rolling table is kept at 1 • identical while the intermediate part 5 located below the mushroom and near the core 17 is shaped so as to have a recess 18 comprising in its lower part, the rolling ramp 8, preferably inclined, serving as a rolling track for the guide roller 7.
These rails are generally used in pairs (Figures 8 and 9). The counterpart rail placed opposite is arranged symmetrically with respect to the longitudinal longitudinal axis of the track. It has the same characteristics so that it can serve as a running track for a symmetrical roller 7 of the same guidance system for a road vehicle.
The guide rollers of this same guide system are inclined diverging from top to bottom. They can each be integrated into a guide arm forming part of the same assembly. Whatever the guidance system, the use of the upper part of the rail can be envisaged to produce the current return by means of a wiper secured to the vehicle.
