Abstract

Ein Wärmeaustauscher umfaßt mindestens zwei im wesentlichen parallele Rohrteile (2), die an ihrer Außenseite mit Rippen (3) versehen sind und durch im wesentlichen bogenförmige Verbindungsstücke (5) kaskadenartig miteinander verbunden sind. Erfindungsgemäß sind die Rohrteile (2) und die Verbindungsstücke (5) in einem Gehäuse untergebracht, das zumindest eine mit Hohlräumen versehene Deckplatte (7) aufweist, wobei primäre Hohlräume (8, 8') zur Aufnahme von Rohrteilen (2) eingerichtet sind, und sekundäre Hohlräume (9) zur Aufnahme von Verbindungsstücken (5) eingerichtet sind. Dadurch erzielt man einen sehr guten Wärmeaustausch. Vorzugsweise weist das Gehäuse ferner eine gleichfalls mit primären und/oder sekundären Hohlräumen (8, 8', 9) versehene zusätzliche Deckplatte (7') auf, so daß die Hohlräume der Deckplatten (7, 7') im montierten Zustand einander gegenüberliegen. Es ist vorteilhaft, die Rohrteile (2) und die Verbindungsstücke (5) als Ganzes zu formen.
