Abstract

The wooden structure (1) for the vertical storage of snowboards comprises two vertical walls (3,4) between which is a base (5), a transverse central connector (6) and an upper beam (7). The beam carries retaining jaws each composed of two independent half jaws.

Description

The present invention relates to a device allowing the storage and storage of snow boards, such as skis or equivalent like surfs, monoskis, etc ...

We already know devices for retaining skis vertically in storage position. These devices are found in individuals, but especially in rental stores that are found in station or in town. With these devices, the skis are held vertically between two retaining arms, as disclosed for example in the European patent application No. 92 500132 published under No. 538 171. But, the ski area has evolved terribly and the type of boards sliding has multiplied. Thus, the skier can choose between alpine skiing, skiing cross-country and surfing, and he has at his disposal different types of skis, such than traditional skis, so-called parabolic skis, skwals, miniskis, all types of surfing, as well as monoskis. Rental companies no longer have at their disposal suitable storage devices allowing the storage of skis of all sizes and dimensions.

The present invention provides a device for storing and storage to store all types of skis or similar such as Alpine skis, snowboards, monoskis, parabolic skis, miniskis, etc., thanks to very simple means.

Thus, the device for storing snow gliding boards is the type in which the gliding board or boards are stored vertically and retained by retaining jaws, and is characterized in that each of the retaining jaws consists of two independent, movable and adjustable half jaws relatively to one to the other by lateral displacement of one or the other, see both half jaws.

According to an additional characteristic, each of the half jaws is formed by a piece of sheet steel in the shape of an "L", namely a support wall extended at right angles by a wall lateral restraint.

According to another characteristic, the lateral retaining wall of the half jaw carries a profiled retaining part. whose profile is such that the thickness is variable and decreases as we get near the bottom of the jaw, to form a ramp restraint, while an end ramp is provided allowing the introduction of skis.

In the preferred embodiment, the retaining jaws are fixed on an upper horizontal beam, which comprises at least one light., while at least one of the half jaws is fixed on the transverse beam, thanks to a fixing bolt or the like.

According to an alternative embodiment, the two half jaws are connected by a tension spring.

Add that at least one of two half jaws is elastically deformable, and only according to characteristics complementary, the device includes a recovery gutter of water and a mobile cart with wheels.

Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will emerge of the description which will follow with regard to the appended drawings which are not given only by way of nonlimiting examples.

The device or the invention bearing the general reference (1) is illustrated in an embodiment given by way of example in FIGS. 1 to 7. It consists of a main structure (2) made for example of wood, comprising two vertical end walls (3, 4) between which are arranged a base (5), a central transverse body (6) and at least one upper horizontal beam (7), but in this case two upper horizontal beams. In the performance given as for example, the device (1) comprises an upper board (9). Each of the horizontal beams (7, 8) includes at least one lumen longitudinal (10), to carry a set and a succession of retaining jaws (11, 11a, 11b, 11c, 11d, ...) and form a slide for moving the jaws.

According to a characteristic of the invention, each of the jaws retainer (11, 11a, 11b, 11c, 11d, ...), consists of two half independent, movable and relatively adjustable jaws (12a, 12b) to each other by lateral displacement of one or the other, see two half jaws (12a and / or 12b).

Each of the half jaws (12a, 12b) is constituted by a sheet steel part (13) in the shape of an "L", namely a wall of support (14) extended at right angles by a lateral retaining wall (15), which advantageously carries a profiled retaining part (16). Note that each half jaw (12a, 12b) is fixed movably on the transverse part, thanks to a fixing bolt (17) constituted by a screw (17a) and a nut (17b) advantageously of the butterfly type. We advantageously use a screw of the type having a rotation lock, like for example having a square under the head. In addition, the wall of support (14) of each of the half jaws (12a, 12b) comprises a horizontal light (18), as well as a hole (19). The profiled part (16) is for example made of wood or plastic, and is fixed to the wall lateral retaining (15), for example by one or more screws (20) or by any other means, such as clipping, gluing or overmolding. His profile is such that its thickness is variable and decreases as we approaches the bottom of the jaw to form a ramp retainer (21), while an end ramp is provided, allowing the introduction of skis (23). We saw earlier that each half jaws is made of elastic material, such as a sheet of steel. Also in the retaining position, as illustrated in Figures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, the lateral retaining wall (15) can be pivoted by deformation elastic, according to F1, as more particularly illustrated in the figure 5, which makes it possible to open the retaining jaws and facilitate the introduction (I) of the skis (23). the inverse elasticity (F2) of these same walls, as well as the retaining ramp (21) ensure a frank and sure of the corresponding skis (23).

We will understand that, thanks to the independence of the two half jaws (12a, 12b), it is possible to place them on the beam horizontal (7), i.e. in the desired relative position, i.e. a distance (D) between the two lateral retaining walls (15), corresponding to the width (L) of the skis (23) to be retained. So the user of the device will adjust the width (D) of the different retaining jaws, depending on the width of the skis to be used. Thus, all types of skis, such than traditional skis (23a), parabolic skis (23b), surfboards or monoskis of all kinds (23c), can be retained by adjusting the jaws,.

The skis are held in a vertical position and their heel (24) is in support on an inclined surface (25a) leading to a gutter drain (26), which advantageously comprises a drain hole (27).

According to the preferred embodiment of the invention, the device comprises a vertical plane (P) of general symmetry and the base (5) then comprises two inclined surfaces (25a, 25b) converging towards the flow gutter (26), arranged in the plane (P). Furthermore, the device includes advantageously two upper horizontal beams (7) parallel to be able to store back to back, two rows of skis or similar, such as illustrated more particularly in FIG. 3.

In addition, each jaw advantageously comprises two retaining bolts, which the user will only have to loosen to adjust, on the one hand, the overall position of the jaw on the beam and on the other hand, the relative position of one half jaw relative to the other.

Figures 8a and 8b are views illustrating a variant of realization of the jaws, according to which, one of the half jaws (12a) is fixed on the retaining beam (7, 8), while the other half jaw (12b) can slide laterally against the action of a spring traction (30). Thus, with this embodiment, the skis are retained by elastic pinching.

We should also add that it is also possible to arrange the storage according to the invention, on a rolling cart (31) which can be moved on two parallel rails (32, 33), as illustrated in Figures 9 and 10. The carriage consists of a frame made with profile metal bearing four castors (35). The rolling support device (31) comprises means preventing the derailment of the carriage. These means being produced by the cooperation of the carriage with the rail or rails correspondents (32, 33), as illustrated in FIG. 9. Thanks to the rolling cart (31), the trader can easily move his device even weighed down by stored skis, which allows it to store a whole set of device by storing them one against the other, like this is illustrated in Figure 11, while allowing it to move one or the other to access the chosen skis.

It will be noted that the structure (2) can be of any type of material and that the device may not understand this structure. Indeed, the beam (7) could be directly fixed against a wall.

FIG. 12 illustrates an alternative embodiment according to which the two independent half jaws (12a, 12b) are produced in injected plastic. Elements identical to the previous work have the same references and the reader can so refer to it. So for example, each of the half jaws is in one piece, namely that the profiled retaining piece (16) is integral with the profiled retaining wall (16) which includes an end ramp (22) and a retaining ramp (21), these two ramps being produced by a projection (210). Furthermore, the tension spring (30) is hooked by its ends on the screw rod (17a) of each fixing bolt (17). In this embodiment one of the half jaws (12a) is fixed while the other (12b) moves to be requested to approach towards the half jaw fixed by the tension of the spring. Note also that according to this variant is provided with additional sliding means consisting of two tubular profiles (300, 301), namely a tubular profile internal (301) integral with one of the half jaws (124) sliding at the interior of an external tubular profile (300) integral with the other half jaw (12a). Add that advantageously the spring (30) is housed in this telescopic tubular assembly.

Figure 13 illustrates another way of hooking the spring (30) on the jaws that the ends of the spring are engaged on a projection (303) integral with the corresponding jaw.

Of course, the invention is not limited to the modes of realization described and represented as examples, but it includes also all technical equivalents and their combinations.

Storage device (1) and storage boards gliding on snow (23), of the type according to which the gliding board or boards are stored vertically and retained by retaining jaws (11), each of the retaining jaws (11, 11a, 11b, 11c, 11d, ...) being consisting of two independent movable half jaws (12a, 12b) and adjustable relatively to each other by lateral displacement of one or the other, or even two half jaws (12a and or 12b), each half jaws (12a, 12b) consisting of a sheet metal part of steel (13) in the shape of an "L", namely a support wall (14) extended at right angles by a lateral retaining wall (15) characterized in that the lateral retaining wall (15) of the half jaw carries a profiled retaining part (16). Storage device (1) and storage boards gliding on snow (23), of the type according to which the gliding board or boards are stored vertically and retained by retaining jaws (11), according to claim 1, characterized in that the profiled part (16) is integral with the lateral retaining wall (15) and its profile is such that the thickness is variable and decreases as we get near the bottom of the jaw, to form a retaining ramp (21).
