Abstract

Bei bisherigen Ultraschallwandlereinrichtungen mit elastisch eingebettetem Ultraschallwandler (1,2) werden chemisch reaktive Materialien als Dämpfungsmasse verwendet, deren Herstellungsprozeß schwierig beherrschbar ist und relativ lange Taktzeiten mit sich bringt. Um dies zu vermeiden, wird erfindungsgemäß ein mechanisch geschäumter Schmelzkleber (3) als Dämpfungsmasse benutzt, der sich ohne chemische Reaktion innerhalb vergleichsweise kurzer Abkühlzeit verfestigt. Beim Herstellungsverfahren wird das Kunststoffgehäuse (6) der Ultraschallwandlereinrichtung zugleich als Formteil verwendet.
